BowWow! Great service from the friendly team at Melrose Park Petbarn. I was looking for premium cat and dog biscuits - have to admit to usually buying the supermarket brands. My vet recently recommended Hill's Science and my new kitten is thriving. Sooo her older fur sisters are in for a treat too (should stop the doggo stealing the kitty kibble). Got some dog treats and eye wipes too. I'd definitely recommend you check out Petbarn.

I was really impressed with the wonderful service at Petbarn Melrose Park. Ana was so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. She helped me bathe my dog in the dog wash and was so loving and caring. Thank you Ana! You are a credit to Pet Barn!

In my personal opinion, Ana should not be working there. Or should at least undergo or revisit some training. (Tap for more info..) I called to enquire if the store stocked (live) tiger barbs, Ana only suggests dried fish to me?! I then ask if anyone else there knows anything about the (live) fish and a young man takes over who informs me they have them in stock. When I arrive at the store later that day to purchase, my heart sank. Ana was the one responsible for then netting my fish and putting them in the bag. She had very little confidence and required close supervision and instruction, at one point she dropped one of my fish on the floor and was fearful to pick up. Very horrible and cringeworthy to watch, never seen anything like it. I left this store wondering if in the recruitment process the retail staff are required to have prior animal handling skills, or are they entry level retail assistants? Great range of fish but will not be returning.

I needed some bird mite spray and I registered on-line and got the product delivered to my home. It was all done in 2 hours. Pretty happy. Budgie is mite free and happy. Yay.

Not enough staff.. so you have to waste time looking for help.

Checked online for stock and it says in stock and even available to order for 60 minute pickup. When I get to the store no stock and just staff saying they are still expecting pallets from the week before. It's not hard to update a stock system when you actually get stock in not just when ever. Why mess your customers around and waste everyone's time. All staff would do is tell me when stock did come in. I had driven to the store once with the promise of stock I wasn't doing it again. Should have offered free delivery of the item or something. Terrible service overall.

Love Petbarn .I always get the best advice from the super friendly staff , whether it's for my fish ,3 cats or my goofy Bernese Mountain dog Oden . A+ Petbarn.

They stock a really good range of different fish species as well as plants and decorations! I bought my lace pearl gouramis here and they've been doing really well; the fish here seem to be treated better than some other local pet stores. I also really appreciated that the staff asked me about my tanks and how I planned to look after the fish I purchased - it's great to see them taking the time to make sure their animals are going to good homes.

Staff always helpful, prices have gone up a lot ,but so has everything so no surprise there ,usually have good stock ,and delivery service has always been on time

I like Pet Barn specially their loyalty program as they offer good discounts on several products. The Next Gaurd is a must have for your best friend and that's why it is an expensive product, but the good news is that when you register as member of Pet Barn, you will buy it with a good discount and it is so claimable if you het pet insurance!

“Member” prices aren’t competitive to begin with then every so-called promotion only discounts from the non-member price which are an absolute rort. Range is good but online retailers stock more for less. Spend your money elsewhere

Couldn't find what I was after so there was a sales lady talking to someone so I stood back waiting to ask if they had it. They were having a good old chat about their animals. Seemed like they knew each other. She looked at me waiting. No acknowledgement. Carried on talking. Waiting waiting. Oher lady talking saw me and still kept yapping. I walked out. Ilk never be back in that terrible store

Friendly staff, but only stock a smallish range of chicken feed. We normally buy Barastoc brand elsewhere but they don't have that here. They do however have a good scratch mix which we bought and the chickens seemed to like it

I use their same day delivery quite frequently. Its a lifesaver sometimes when Im out of supplies and dont have time to go out. They also have repeated auto deliveries which are great. Wide range of products.

They need to get a better range of bird foods nice staff.

I came in to get some fish for a pond having done some basic research, but I was then served by Michael who was fantastic and spent a heap of time with me going through the science and care of the pond and fish. It was great to have such good help. I really appreciated it!

Would not recommend ordering dog food online. Website tells you same day delivery before completing transaction, only to tell you after if its in stock or not. Past two times delivery has taken well over a week.

The staff were fantastic and the dog wash is amazing with warm water! Our young kelpie is a big sook and she was so easy to wash it was the first time I've ever washed a dog in under 10 minutes and only 10 dollars. Highly recommended
