If you want to be in a friendly calming environment then Mt Barker tourist park is for you. Far enough from the city for a country fee but close enough to do day trips to Adelaide. Loved our week of exploring the Adelaide hills and Mt barker. Would definitely come back.

This caravan park is located in the Adelaide Hills, a half to one hour drive to Adelaide city, Hills wineries, South coast beaches and towns and incorporating small towns which are popular tourist stops, en route. The park is delightfully clean and well laid out; amenities are spotless and comfortable. Walkways are lined with hedges, gardens are flourishing and well kept. Separate flush lawns are periodically laid out amongst caravan & tent sites and cabin sites creating a peaceful place. Bird life flourishes amongst the tall deciduous trees and indigenous eucalyptus trees, at times creating the only noise experienced in this quiet and extremely well managed park. The park is pet friendly and a town oval is located on the park's boundary for human and pet exercise! Best thing though is the park husband-and-wife managers๐Ÿ˜Š, who are welcoming, happy and friendly, and always responsive to the needs of their clients. A delightful park to stay, rest for a few days and have a look around the environs.

The cabin was nice. Well set up for a small family. We had a issue with the hair-dryer not working. The staff member we contacted was a bit gruff at the time and then went out of her way to tell my wife that there was nothing wrong with the hair-dryer. She could use some customer service training.

A beautifully kept park by both Management and park visitors. There is a great community vibe, sausage sizzles supplied by the management, very clean toilet/shower/laundry facilities. Located in the picturesque Adelaide Hills Mount Barker is a lovely old town with plenty of things to see and do. Well worth a visit!

Have stayed previously and have found this to be a great place. Staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Amenities are fine and our site was more than adequate. Easy access to centre of town and as a base for surrounding area. Recommend it to everyone.

If I could give Mt Barker Caravan & Tourist Park 10 โ˜†โ˜†โ˜†โ˜†โ˜†โ˜†โ˜†โ˜†โ˜†โ˜† I would. The managers are a real credit to this park. Thank you so much for finding a spot for us during your busy time we really appreciated your kindness. The customer service, clean facilities, quiet location and being able to walk to the town centre sure have made this a favourite spot for us next time we are in the Adelaide Hills.

The caravan park itself is nice. However, when my partner asked a question in relation to the map we were given she was met with insulting language and disrespect by the manager overall spoiling the whole experience. I would recommend giving this park a miss if your looking for a relaxing stay.

This park is very friendly and quiet. Managers are extremely helpful and pleasant. The Park is easy accessible from the South Eastern Freeway walking distance to the main shopping area in Mt Barker. Aprox 20mins to centre of Adelaide. Next door to historic Hahndorf, Wineries in all directions Barossa, McClaren Vale, Langhorne Creek. When you are finished your day trips return to a nice quiet Park out of the hustle and bustle of the big city. Hope you enjoy your stay.

Nice small park next to a oval in the heart of Mt Barker Gravel sites and gravel roads so expect dust Lots of shade Relatively quiet I gave a 1 star rating as the old battlax in the office was so rude and for this reason we wonโ€™t be back She doesnโ€™t seem to like pretty women, kids or big vans

Great caravan park, near a large oval. Very close to the main shopping centre. Adequate sized sites even for a large van like ours. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Would return again.

It's a nice and quiet spot yet near restaurants and even a shopping mall. A short drive to Hahndorf and enjoy the scenaries along Mount Barker Rd. When we came in end May from other mostly empty caravan parks, this one was pretty much at its full capacity. Quite a few park users seemed to have stayed for a while. The nice park owners gave us a lot of useful information. Shower rooms and toilets were clean. Hot shower was great. Just wished the power of the extraction fan could be lowered. The camp kitchen was just a kitchen sink with hot and cold water, microwave and bar table in a laundry room. Next to it was one of the two BBQ areas which didn't have washing facilities. Unfortunately it rained most of the time when we were there and getting in and out of the camp kitchen and the BBQ area would get you wet. Despite the rain, we did enjoy our stay there.

A very nice, quiet little caravan park. Good size sites. You may even catch sight of mum & bub possum in the evening, along the back fence.

Our cabin was spacious with a lovely view of the local footy oval. There were a few maintenance issues which we notified the office of and the owners came over immediately to discuss with us.

My partner and I hired one of the cabins available. Our Cabin had a lovely kitchen/living room area, and two small bedrooms. The bathroom was quite small. It was fine for two adults, but four adults would be pushing things. We didn't require any additional services. There was one thing that was a little frustrating, there was a community barbeque/garden area very close to our cabin, and over the three nights we were there, there was a band playing there until 10pm every night we stayed. That would have been good to know about ahead of time.

My stay here was lovely, the price was affordable and of good value, everything was clean and tidy. One thing that stood out here was the wonderful friendly service which was evident when i accidently left keys in my cabin and the office was closed, the owner was on his way out and seen i looked flustered and with no hesitation helped me to get a spare key and open the boom gate for me and still was so friendly kind to help in heavy rain mind you. Thats service to me. Will be coming back if need a stay at Mt Barker again.

We recently had a three night stay in our caravan at the Mount Barker Caravan and Tourist Park. It's a lovely park, everything is kept tidy and the amenities blocks are clean. We found it to be really quiet at night time too. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Highly recommend this caravan park. It's such a quiet place. We stayed here 5 nights in our van. The staff/owners? were really lovely and helpful. Toilet amenities were lovely and clean, and it's a short walk to the shops, cafe's and such.

Stayed at this location multiple times over the years and has always been top value for the money. Close to shops and town centre. Room was clean and I believe newly renovated. Best place in Mount Barker to stay.

Facilities falling apart! Charge extra for toddlers yet no facilities for them. Worst park weโ€™ve been too at this dollar value. Definitely recommend staying in sea cliff park instead for the same money, overall heaps better value and location!

Lovely Park, well kept grounds, showing pride in ownership. We stayed both powered site & cabin (very cosy) and found Hayley & others very helpful & friendly. The bonus is walking distance to CBD and some walks by the creek. Mt Barker is a lovely town.

Stayed for 4 nights in a standard cabin. Well maintained park, decent rates, and just a short walk to Mt Barkers restaurants, cafรฉs, and shops. Plentiful facilities. Friendly (but not intrusive) staff.

This is one of the nicest caravan parks we have stayed in. The amenities were modern and always clean. The park is excellently located for exploring the Adelaide Hills. The owners were extremely helpful, we received help reversing our caravan into the allocated site and also unhitching. Will not hesitate to stay there again or in recommending this park.

Bed was comfy. Plates and mugs were nice. The egg flip was melted heaps on the back and wooden spoon looked like someone attacked it with a knife on the back. The plastic chair in the bedroom was dirty as was the area around the bin. The toilet lid has seen better days.

We stayed here over Christmas and had a wonderful time, so much that we ended up staying 3 weeks. We had a very large drive through site which was perfect for us and 2 dogs. There is an oval right next to the park where we were able to walk the dogs and made lots of doggy and human friends! Wayne and Kylie were very helpful hosts. The park is easy walking distance to town and a huge shopping centre. We were able to drive to Hahndorf, Stirling and Adelaide easily, and also the beautiful beaches of the Fleurieu peninsula and the wineries of McLaren Vale. We loved it here and felt part of the community and were sad to leave.
