They have all types of Sri Lankan food available for you to purchase off the shelf or you can pre order. All types of Sri Lankan spices, frozen scrapped coconut and everything else you need is available here. The superb helpful couple Shiroma and Christopher managing the shop will guide you and advise if you have any doubts on what to buy. If you want lunch on a weekend better visit around 11am to buy, if not they get sold out. Same scenario with the short eats they have are so good they don't last till the evening. So better go earlier on the day if you are on the lookout of short eats.

You can buy any Srilankan groceries here. Need to treat regular customers with loyalty points or discounts people who are buying stuff more than $100. Not that cordial or biscuits.

This is probably the best Sri Lankan take away in Australia. Food is so authentic & the taste is the same you remember from Sri Lanka. Very reasonable prices. Would definitely visit again next time I’m in Adelaide.

This shop is a very good shop to get anything sri lankan or from sri lanka such as biscuits, spices and even pastries.

CJ Sri Lankan Spices & Lunch Bar is a hidden gem in Adelaide. The food is authentic, delicious, and always cooked fresh. The owners and staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, and they make a real effort to get to know their customers. I highly recommend the takeaway lunch packs, which are a great way to try a variety of different Sri Lankan food. The grocery section is also excellent, and it has a wide range of Sri Lankan products, including spices, snacks, and frozen vegetables, frozen fish & frozen cooked snacks. I'm so glad I discovered CJ Sri Lankan Spices & Lunch Bar! The food is absolutely amazing, and the owners and staff are so friendly and welcoming and caring. I always feel like I'm in Sri Lanka when I'm there. If you're looking for a taste of Sri Lanka in Adelaide, CJ Sri Lankan Spices & Lunch Bar is the place to go. I highly recommend it!

Few Sri Lankan grocery shops exist in Adelaide, and this shop appears to be the oldest. As newcomers to South Australia, we were eager to buy our traditional food items. During my first visit, the shop owner was incredibly friendly and engaged in conversation with me. In my opinion, CJ Sri Lankan shop is the best in South Australia. The customer service is excellent. 💯

Rice & Curry was too chilly hot with not enough rice for the price

Boight 2 clay pots even though put water and checked at the shop it was not too long. When I came home not even 15 minutes from the shop I was able to see a mark. Anyway put water and checked again and it was leaking. Called immediately and the owner is not accepting to change. If we go to any other shop like coles, woolworth or any other no questions being asked and they will chamge. I didn't ask a refund even, just want to change. it's very disappointing for people to do like this specially shame to all the Sri Lankans when people do things like this and I dont recommend this place at all.
