Do not miss this pie shop when in Bright! Excellent service, and the pies were amazing. The pastry was fluffy, buttery, and filled with plenty of ingredients. Sat outside under a very pretty tree and enjoyed the scenery. The curry steak and pepper steak pies were on point. Will definitely recommend this shop to everyone.

Visited this spot after fond memories of my last visit after some hiking across the BHP. I was concern that my memeory may have been clouded by post hike hunger but on this occasion I was well rested and ready to be objective. And these pies are still the best in the valley! Solid flavours ingredients you can see and taste, warm welcoming staff and a chill atmosphere. They even have a merch section which sells a pretty decent beanie or so I’m told. I’m a sucker for a solid sausage roll and well as you can se from my cross section these ones don’t let the team down. I’d love to visit the original store out Yackandandah way but till that happens this place will do!

I had the best sausage rolls ever at this place! The pies are also amazing and generously sized. I enjoyed it so much that I returned before leaving Bright. It's a must-visit spot! However, I found the coffee to be average. If you're planning to enjoy the pies outdoors, be mindful of the bees.

Wow! One of the best chicken pies I’ve had. Period! So glad we decided to stop in and have a quick bite at Gum Tree Pies Bright. We shared a the sausage roll and had a chicken and veg pie each. The serving size of the roll is quite generous and filled with flavour. The chicken pie was perfectly cooked and seasoned that it didn’t require any sauce. Add this to your must visit if you’re ever in Bright or nearby. Your tastebuds will Thank me later 💯

Stop over to pick up a quick bite. Came by here to get the much sought after pies. Tried the chicken and curry pies. Even the veggie ones. Sadly no GF versions. Would be great if we could get a GF ones. However the GF chocolate caramel slice is to die for. Very very tasty.

Hands down best pie and sausage roll (pork based not beef) that I have had. Beef pies have big juicy chunks of meat, and pastry is buttery crumbly Well worth a stop when you are in Bright!

Wow! I'm not a big pie fan, but I am a fan of these pies. It's not just the filings that are fantastic, but the pastry is delicious! We went as a family, so I was lucky enough to taste a couple of different varieties. I would recommend the lamb and mint jelly, beef and bacon, and my absolute favorite, Thai green curry 😀

Stopped in here after walking the canyon trail. We got the chicken thai green curry, beef Guinness, chicken and mushroom and the steak pies - Absolute ripper pies and good value for money! Highly recommended!

One of the BEST pies I have had! Those crusts are flakey and fluffy. Lamb and mint - never seen it elsewhere. Must try for lamb lover. Nice balance of lamb and mint flavor. Steak and Guinness - hearty and big chuck of steak! Personal fav. Chicken and mushrooms - a whole champagne mushrooms in there! That sauce is just so auromatic. Definitely taking away some back to Melbourne when I leave Bright 💕

Delicious chunky steak pies. I had a Steak with Red Wine and a steak with mushrooms. Both of them are gorgeous. Staffs are friendly, always having smiles on their faces.

Creamy Pumpkin pie hands down best pumpkin pie be had. Cauliflower was also very nice. Curry steak very good. Chicken mushroom was also very yummy. Overall 9.5/10 (0.5 down cause sticky tables 😭)
