Beautiful,
peaceful,
green,
with
refreshingly
cool
mountain
breezes.
A
therapeutic
place
for
a
hike,
a
picnic,
or
to
enjoy
the
stillness,
serenity
and
quiet
in
life,
the
natural
treasures
in
life
that
cannot
be
taken
away
from
us,
like
this
rainforest.
Until
wait....
you
see
the
Chinese
Pagoda
overlooking
the
lake,
and
jolt
yourself
back
to
realism
of
the
cold,
deceptive,
precarious
world,
outside
of
this
peaceful
rainforest.
Then
you
rub
your
eyes
thinking
you
are
hallucinating,
only
to
realize
there
is
another
one
behind
you,
up
a
trail!
Why,
oh
why,
are
there
two
Chinese
Pagodas
in
Grenada's
only
national
forest
park?
Our
most
sacred
treasure?
Is
Grenada
giving
away
its
birthright,
Is
this
a
joke,
an
insult,
a
provocation,
sheer
ignorance,
or
an
eerie,
sinister
sign
of
Grenada's
servility
to
the
Chinese:
or
the
Chinese
manipulation
of
the
Grenadians.
Seems
like
the
Chinese
too,
are
enjoying
the
quiet
of
the
rainforest,
as
they
surreptitiously
leave
their
mark,
plant
roots
in
the
recesses
of
our
minds
as
we
meditate
in
peace,
craftily
disguised
as
acts
of
generosity.
They
are
encroaching
even
in
the
quiet,
depths
and
stillness
of
the
rainforest.
Wake
up
Grenadians.....deal
with
this
one
too.
Fast!
Stop
the
mentality
of
wanting
freeness,
at
any
cost.
Move
Grenada
forward
out
of
this
entanglement
and
entrenchment.
OR!!
