Checking was an adventure in its own. I wasn't necessarily mad at Amber who checked me in just the fact that the payment method wasn't working. I got back to my room at 1:30 in the morning after a Monday night football game in Detroit and I was locked out. So I went to the front desk and my information wasn't logged into the system correctly. The room had a funky smell despite the cleaning lady cleaning it right before I checked in. And the hard wood part of the floors were sticky. So did they really clean it? I've typically had good luck with Red Roof Inns that's why I chose to stay here. But this was probably my most disappointing experience with Red Roof Inn.

I own a construction Business. I check in last nite and the young lady was awesome. She was very helpful. We have tools in the bed of the truck, she allowed us to park up front where the cameras was or bring them inside of the office. We appreciate staff that goes beyond the scope of work to show the customer care. We will be returning.

Been to this location once before. The area is not super busy, but it's close to lots of places. I reserved the room through red roof's website, upon arrival I paid for the room and there was a $50 hold for incidentals. Not even an hour after arriving, the police came due to a domestic dispute going on. Lots of people staying there long term it seems. Room was not entirely clean, which tells me they don't check behind housekeeping. Floor was sticky and microwave wasn't wiped out. Bed was also not comfortable to sleep on. Good thing I check my account often, because the $50 incidentals was never refunded. I had to call the corporate number to get it back because the location would not answer the phone. If you're just looking for a bed and 4 walls, then this is not a bad price or location.

Needed a place to stay for a 2 day work trip. This hotel had the best reviews in the area so we gave ot a shot. We checked in super late on a Thursday night and Kristen was working the front desk. She was friendly and helpful. She gave us a room upgrade that was most appreciated! The room was neat and clean. Mini fridge, coffee maker, microwave, iron, hair dryer, and ample towels. It was over 90° outside and our AC worked wonderfully. Our beds and pillows were comfy and smelled clean. There was also a delivery room service option. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely book here again.

First of all, my husband reserved the room online. We check in, he was charged an extra 50.00 service fee that wasn’t listed on the website. The first room they gave us was dirty. The bed wasn’t fixed (dirty sheets) and a condom wrapper on the floor. They ended up giving us another room, but it didn’t have the amenities that we were supposed to get. Any questions that was asked at the front desk, the employee really didn’t have any answers.

I checked in on December 13 the young Amber was very unprofessional and rude. She rented me room someone stayed in. Her words were sorry and unfortunately. I got so tired of hearing that. She didn’t know her job that well. It was sad dealing with a customer agent that was clueless on what to do. I extended my stay house keeping services you must put in a 24 hour service request. That was disappointing. I haven’t had clean sheets since I checked in, no housekeeping service I had to buy a broom and cleaning products to clean my room. I have never had a problem staying here. The workers need more training. Working in customer service requires communication skills and some of these people don’t have them. However I will say this Kristen does her job she makes sure things are done the right way. She knows the guest she treats them with respect and she is friendly so I appreciate her doing a great job.

The room I was given was filthy. And wasn't even fully cleaned from the last customer. The trash can was up on hand sink with no bag in it. The bathtub was filthy and still has soap and wrapper opened from the last customer. The room only had one towel. One. No wash rags neither. Highly recommend staying at another hotel. There was plenty to choose from in area. Called in morning to speak with a supervisor or manager and was told they would call me back.... Never received a phone call

Can you imagine the receptionist gave me a room that had broken glass with boarded window? Like what do I look like? Went back and requested a new room. To my surprise it was very updated and clean. Location is ok and alright for a solo traveler.

very bad experience, I rented a room for one night. I didn't see what happens when night falls. criminal, drug, unsafe. 4 guys were standing in front of my room smoking weed and using other drugs. no one warned them for 2 hours. I waited for them to leave and left the hotel at 9 pm. here you can only lose your head.

My son and I was there for the international car show and we had an amazing experience. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. Been boasting about it since we arrived home in Indiana. It is now our go to place, as we are planning another trip next year.

Great stay. Super clean room, quiet surroundings. Stellar customer service. My little dog agrees with this 5 star rating, even had a bit of grass for her right outside the door. Will stay here again if I'm back in the area.

The staff here were lovely. I came in late and the overnight lady was so kind and personable. She’s the only reason I stayed and checked in to be honest. The man and woman working this morning were also lovely. The bed was comfy and I inspected thoroughly for bugs - found none. The room had a dank smell. I couldn’t put my finger on it. Mildew? Maybe old weed? I’m not sure but it was pungent. Overall the room was ok - minus the hairball left on the desk area (photo) that I was certain would spring to life in the night and carry me away like Gulliver from Gullivers Travels. The highway is painfully loud - bring earplugs (not the motels fault). Close proximity to Starbucks is a win. Overall, value wise, good place to stay.

I truly appreciate Cordero and Chris for the professionalism and politeness. I had a family emergency and needed a place for the night for me and my family. They assured me that they could take care of things for us and they did just that. The area was nice and quiet, the rooms were very clean and cozy. I would definitely stay there again, especially if those are the staff on duty.

Staff was great and rooms were clean. Only issue we had was the sewer backed up on our last night there. Staff did the absolute best to get us into a room that wasn't having the same issue. Not sure if it got resolved, but it was unexpected.

The room was marked as clean on the hotel records but it wasn't at all, it smelled like a locker room and had trash everywhere. The clerk at the front counter was one of the most rude and "I dont want to be here" types I've dealt with and I travel for a living. Would NOT recommend.

First complaint: The customer service is horrible, they will take your money and demand you to leave after a few hours because “the so called” computers are outdated and can’t record keep the hotel stays. Second complaint: the hallways are littered with trash which allows squirrels and other critters to rummage through hallways. Third complaint: manger barrage into the room demanding payment after I payed for a couple of nights. Fourth complaint: housekeeping staff straight up leaves the rooms dirty and has had a strong smoke smell like an ash tray. They spend more time gossiping than working. This place is under staffed and unprofessional. It full of bugs rats and pests They have bad guest staying here who is loud and annoying. Don’t waste your money, go somewhere else, it’s not even worth a one star. Avoid this place!

Toilet was filthy and obviously not cleaned. Door to bathroom was flimsy and bendable should be replaced... moved rooms to a room that was missing the smoke detector... and had glitter makeup on the floor. Coffee maker looked dirty and cracked in pieces on top. Place claims to be smoke free but there are hundreds of butts right outside out door. Management emailed back a general apology.

Our room was not real clean. The floor was dirty and sticky. We had no hot water for 2 days. There seemed to be people staying there permanently. Our room had no maid service. We were told that this isn't a 4* hotel, and they don't clean rooms during the stay. We had to bring dirty towels to the front desk to get clean towels. It was noisy at night.

I have stayed here a few times with my boyfriend and daughter, several days in a row each time. The rooms (superior king) are very spacious, nice and clean. I've never had any issues. The people working the front desk are very nice and accommodating. Excellent customer service compared to other motels I've been to. The only disadvantages I can think of - the cable selection isn't great (but that's okay because I have a laptop with Netflix), the people that stay here can be pretty sketchy but if you keep to yourself, it's fine. Also, it takes several days for your deposit to go back on your card which can be annoying when you need the money. Other than that, no complaints! This is actually my preferred motel to stay at.

My experience at this hotel doesn't deserve one star. The worst experience I have ever had checking in. Apparently there was some kind of language barrier, and we were not understanding each other. The woman would not accept my government ID with a picture, and she wanted to charge me a fifty dollar deposit on my card which would be refunded in five business days. Then she said she would charge twenty dollars instead. Then she said she going to refund it. I don't know what she actually charged me. It wss a very disorganized process. There is no breakfast anymore, but they still charge full price, no discounted price. It was just awful customer service. We basically argued over each other because she said she couldn't accept my government picture ID. Even though I had all my confirmation number, she insisted that I write my phone number and street address on a posted note. The non-smoking room smelled like smoke. I should have known it was going to be a bad decision all around with a two star motel. Think twice before you stay at this particular location. It's located in a sketchy area of town.

If you plan on staying for awhile be ready to have then keep using the weekly rate on you. It's a quite hotel, Don't get me wrong. I've fell under hard times and to stay for awhile. The price has gone up and up. Which makes impossible to save to leave.

I once stayed in a worse hotel. It was another red roof inn, in norfolk virginia in 1988. This place is disgusting. My clothes are in a bag in my driveway as a precaution for bedbugs.

Front desk staff are amazing, super helpful and very friendly. The rooms are subpar and antiquated. I chose here based on that it was only a few miles from my parent's house, allowed pets and close to freeway. We had reservations for two weeks in a row, first week we had to switch rooms three times due to plumbing issues (toilet either wouldn't flush or backed up into the tub). This week we switched once because the first time the tub clogged and had dirty water in it and our second room smells moldy and the carpet is sticky and feels gross. Luckily we all brought flip-flops to wear inside. Our bathroom sink has a small leak also. We haven't seen a housekeeper since we checked in (not surprised considering our refrigerator was dirty and we cleaned it as much as we could). Only reason I gave it two stars was because the front desk staff is so amazing.

We’ve stayed here before and are currently staying in one of the rooms. Everything has been great so far. I have zero complaints. Decent hotel for the price. Have had zero problems. Yes because of the area you get weird people walking around but nobody bothers you. The front desk is always nice no matter who’s working. If you are friendly and polite, they will be more than happy to help you.

Me and my kids have been here since Monday and plan on being here a little while. They've made a difficult situation a little better if I need something I go ask and they give. Julie and David at the front are very kind and accommodating. I wish I had a coffee maker lol but I have other things my little family needs and that's the best. I went to a different red roof inn right before coming here and was met with rude remarks ect so I came here and am better for it.
