Room heavy with cigarette smoke. Due to health conditions cannot stay and room non refundable. Really need to let people know when your sticking them in a smoking room. Also, the window doesn't close. Its stuck open about an inch and the ac/hear cover is hanging off. There were also men laying on the floor in the lobby sleeping when I walked in. For $140 a night really expected some place cleaner.....

I started going here 2006, took a long break to come back totally disappointed. Although staff are great, the quality doesn't exist anymore. I saw a roach and lost it.. It was late and I got no sleep. Everything I had was put in a bag and tied up on hanger! The outside looks better then inside. I am gonna miss staff but don't do bugs. Not returning..

As soon as you step into the lobby it smelled dirty in there. My husband and I decided to still give the hotel a chance and checked in. As we walked to our room the hallway smelled like cigarettes. We opened the door to our room and the first thing we see is a family of roaches. We were there for less than five minutes and left the hotel right after that. It was definitely not a clean place to spend the night.

The only 2 ways to make this hotel better is to extend the morning coffee hour and clone Nicole and Connie…they were both amazing and Extended Stay is very lucky to have them. Definitely coming back next year…. - the Smoothie Juice Guy

I usually don't write reviews, but I feel this time I will. Over this pass weekend my husband and I came in town from St. Louis mo for my mom's book signing. First time staying at this property. I was very disappointed in the cleanliness of my room. When I go to any hotel I always take some cleaning supplies to probably sanitized my room. So I use hotel towels to clean with when I got done cleaning let's jus say the white towels was no longer white they was really black when I got done cleaning. That to say the room was not that clean, the refrigerator had left over food in it from last guest. The room also had bed bugs in it. So the staff put me in another room the second room had died roaches in it. So I call front desk again she said she didn't have anymore rooms to put me. So my husband and I had to stay in second room with dead roaches. We was up all night could not sleep cause we was looking making sure no bugs will get on us. They did put me in a third room the next morning. But once my mom found out what happen she came an got us to put us in another hotel for the remaining of our stay. Only positive thing about my stay here. Front desk staff is nice and friendly. They did get me a full refund. I WILL NOT stay here again or tell anyone to stay at this place. Get better housekeepers and get rid of the bugs🐛 🐛 🐛

First of all let me say all the ladies working there were amazing, sweet, helpful, and friendly. The room on the other hand was nasty. The toilet only worked one outta three times. Half the lights didn't work. The refrigerator was not fit for food. I have pictures but don't know how to add them

Excellent!!! Excellent management. Excellent maintenance. Excellent reception. Excellent cleaning. Excellent security. Excellent location. Building is in good condition. Rooms are maintained and in good condition. Restaurants within walking distance. My vehicle was not stolen/vandalized/broken into (Happens about twice a year to those of us who travel the nation for a living). They maintain a light breakfast cabinet for guests. Coffee, tea, muffin, granola, etc. Excellent. Thanks again.

Miss Connie and the rest of the staff was absolutely amazing. They made it easy for me to enjoy my stay here and if I needed any accommodations they were happy to help!

Check in staff was very pleasant and check in process was very easy and quick. But from the moment I opened the door to the lobby till the time I left the hotel, the entire place smelled like marijuana. every hallway, the lobby, the room itself, all smell like marijuana. It was not pleasant. I didn't expect a 5 star room for the price I paid, But I thought the room was fair, at best.

I have been here since November due to unfortunate situation and I must say this hotel has been my home away from home. From the time I checked I was treated kindly. I don't expect hotels to be 5 star but I must say this damn near close to it. I know everyone experience is different but mine has been great. The rooms are decent, like a real studio apartment. They help you out with complimentary dishes to cook and eat with, clean towels, tissue, trash bags...the whole nine yards lol. I almost didn't have to go to the store for anything. Now to the good part I am big on customer service. This has been one of the best places to give customer service. The assistance manager Ms. Connie is so nurturing, polite, and funny, I love her. Who doesn't want to stay somewhere that make you feel comfortable. Thank you extended stay. My fiance and I greatly appreciate you.

Overall EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE 👍 Connie & Cindy are extremely professional and EXPERTS when it comes to customer service. My husband and I travel and have stayed in lots of hotels and we are beyond satisfied with everything.. from the room, to the views, and location. We will definitely be returning!!

Everything Was Wonderful And Beautiful💓. The Staff Graciously Fixed My Rebooking Issue, The Breakfast (Quick Snack) Was Immaculate, And The Room Was Clean From Every Wall And Crevice You Could Find ☺️💓💓. My Pregnancy Needs Were Catered To As Well; I Loved The Staff For Not Making It A Issue About Me Wanting Muffins 🤣. Also, Quick Note I Don’t Even Book Rooms So By This Being My First; It Was Memorable. This Is Definitely Somewhere I Would Revisit With My Partner And Myself.

When the call Center messed up our reservations and we were 6 hours from home, Mariah and Brenna went above and beyond to make sure that we were taken care of and placed in one of the other ESA hotels that had handicapped accessible! These ladies went above and beyond to take care of us! The hotel was clean and well taken care of! We would stay here again anytime! Thanks for all of your support!n

First: The location is perfect—less than a mile away from interstate(s), with access to several restaurants and convenience stores. The service was good—couldve been better, however I will mention that Connie is an excellent employee! It was the night shift that gave me an ick; called the front desk four times to finally get an answer. That was completely unacceptable. The rooms: I believe they do allow smoking on the premises/room(s), however it doesn’t mean that a freshly sold room should smell like cigarettes (that completely annoyed me). In addition, they’re was leftover food from the previous customer, which lead me to question if this room was clean. Overall—the stay was convenient for my circumstances, however I would say it was “good” because of minor flaws (things that can be fixed). Just don’t make here your first option. Honestly.

I purchased a room at the Extended Stay in Roseville when my power went out on February 24 2023. I saw a roach on the wall went downstairs told the receptionist that Im checking out early because I just saw a roach!! I asked for a refund the GM said no! They can’t do a refund but they can give me one free night!!! Like what I don’t want a free night I just want my money back!!! I tried to reframe from coming here but I just had to let y’all know what you’re waking into!! So much more but that’s just to sum it up!!! I have photos &videos.

I can not comment on the room as I did not stay there BUT I can not say thank you enough to Mariah! There was a situation that lead me to the Extended Stay and she was wonderful with assisting me. I will forever be grateful for all of her help. Mariah- you are a rock star!!!

Room was cozy but a little outdated.. beds are comfortable. Room was clean and everything worked as it should. Hotel staff and front desk were very nice. I lived n hotels as I travel for work. This was by far the nicest people I have ever had to deal with. P.S. recliner in my suite wad so comfortable I wanted to take it home 👍

First, I want to commend the Manager and Assistant Manager, that was there during the day when we checked in, for their gracious hospitality, respect and outstanding professionalism. However, my complaint is against the night Desk Clerk, Dionne (sp). She was very rude, confrontational, disrespectful, immature and very unprofessional. Because of her actions, I will never stay there again, I will suggest to my friends, relatives and acquaintance not to stay there, as well. All of my family live in Detroit and I spend weeks in hotels when I visit my family every year. However, In the future, I will make sure I do not choose to stay at the Extended Stay Detroit Roseville Hotel ever again! Actually, my cousin, who is a Detroit pastor, will have a large delegation of people coming to the city in September and I definitely let him know not to book rooms there. I suggest you take a look at the video of Friday, June 17th and see for yourself!

The front desk clerk was friendly and not much else was positive about our stay. In the first room, the windows were open and would NOT close. So, back down the elevator with all our stuff and back up to the 3rd floor. The second room had open window, as well. At this point we were tired so we dealt with it. Then we turned on the A/C and it roared like a freight train. We kept it on long enough to get the hot air out of the room. We had to turn the unit completely off or else we would not have slept. There were 3, couch sized pillows on the bed. They were thin and uncomfortable. In addition, a previous resident of that room left food in the microwave. If the room had had a true cleaning as indicated on the sticker on the bathroom mirror, that should not have been there. We won't be returning.
