It's a huge park with lots of trails to walk or bike. They have a lot of Pavillions you could rent out for events. They have a swimming area as well as a nature center. You can also fish in some areas of the park or you can put a boat in the water to fish. They have a nature center for children to learn about local creatures and habitats. It does cost some money to get in, but it is worth it, in my opinion. They do have bathroom facilities and playgrounds for children to play on as well. Nice place to spend the day and relax or have a picnic.

Another beautiful Oakland county park! It's a metro park, so you need a pass to get in. This metro park is great for all kinds of activities: paddle boarding, kayaking, fishing, picnicking, and of my favorite, birding! You can even reserve some areas of the park for events. There are many trails that circumvent the lake in the middle of the park, and there's a nature center where I'm sure they host a number of events, such as summer camps for kids; check it out! Lastly, dogs are allowed, but please pick up after them so everyone can enjoy the park. Highly recommend!

Beautiful park with beautiful trails. We love going for walks here. There is a cost for your park pass to all Oakland County Parks, $30 for an annual fee. However, military and veterans get a free pass. The grounds are beautiful. There is a beach, archery range, walking trails, and much more.

Best beach ever! I like that in the afternoon there are shade from the trees at the beach. There are picnic tables, grills, and a playground next to the beach. There is a beautiful hicking/biking trail. Clean restrooms. Awesome park

The most significant hills in any Park in Michigan's Lower Peninsula I've found. Clearly marked trails. A pretty lake. Helpful Nature Center. Bring bug spray! And $5 for a one day Park permit.

This was my wife and I's first time here together. We were going to go to Dodge Park initially but I decided to go somewhere new for a change. And I'm glad we did. Upon arriving to the place we had to drive all the way into the middle of the park to find the beach. But luckily there were some people there that let us know where it was exactly 😂. Once we got there I immediately noticed how laid back and quiet it was there was a handful of people there but not too many. The bathrooms are very clean. And the water was nice and relaxing. I think my wife and I found the new spot to go to this Summer!

This place is a little piece of beauty a hidden gem. I enjoy the lake to put your kayak in. This is a great experience for all who live in Oakland county Michigan. Nature Trails and a small beach but the nature feel will have you intrigued. Go check it out.

Great park. Plenty of traditional hiking trails of varying difficulty. Paved paths for walking and biking. Several playgrounds throughout. My only challenge is most restrooms are closed unless the attached pavilion ia rented and there are no outhouses so it's a but of an adventure to find one open to go.

Brutal hiking trails if you bike them, the ultimate cardio challenge is to make it up a some of these hills and you get some extreme speed going down them. Very fun, but lots of large rock/gravel must take care coming down with some hairpin turns. The entrance is near the nature center.

I love this place. I come here several times a year with my family and have done the same hikes several times. Going here is a great way to take a break and enjoy nature. The location is also amazing.

Had a beautiful wedding here at Twin Chimneys in September! The Staff was super great and attentive. Everyone was extremely pleasant to talk to and work with! Great place for a low key wedding or any type of gathering.

Beautiful park with several excellent walking/hiking trails. Several are paved. Pretty lake with some piers. We went during the winter but I'm sure it's even nicer in the spring and summer and fall. Need a county park pass for entry.

Our family did a guided night walk to look for frogs and salamanders. It was cold but my kids loved it anyway. The Wint nature center also has lots of great stuff to see and do. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable.

Wonderful walking trail around the lake. Fall colors on full display. Definitely worth the entry fee

Beautiful and scenic views especially around the two chimneys area. Small playground available at that location as well as a gazebo and walkout dock. Restrooms at this area were available however the smell was awful as well as there is no paper towel dispenser just a roll of barely used paper towel on the counter soaking wet. I'd recommend installing a dispenser or removing the paper towels all together. Overall very nice.
