Three friends and I came here to stay for the Gibraltar Trade Center renfest. We were given a room, and it was absolutely disgusting. The floors were clearly not vacuumed in a long time. The beds were stained, and they appeared to have bed bug casings and droppings on them. The soap in the shower was used, the dressers sticky, curtains stained, walls stained. We went to the management and asked for another room. The second room was equally disgusting. Pubic hairs were on the shower wall, stains on the bottom of the tub, the drain taped with black mold around it, what looked like blood at the bottom of the curtains, floor filthy, the smell in the room smelled like rancid oil and filth, the drawers had what appeared to be blood stains in them as well. The walls were stained and we took plenty of photos. We decided to get the hell out if there. The desk help had the audacity to ask us what was wrong with the room, I asked him ,"what wasn't wrong with this room?!" Long story short, this place is appalling. It's sad that kids live here and the owners take advantage of people in need. There is NO EXCUSE to keep a hotel this filthy and unhygienic. We are all turning this hovel into the better business bureau and health department. And local news. Probably will not change anything, but people need to be aware of this horrid place.

Bed bugs bed bugs bed bugs. Good night sleep tight the bed bugs are gonna bite I stayed at the victory inn and it wasn't right. This place sucks by far the worst hotel ever. The staff acts surprised about the bed bugs but they are in every room. You won't see them in the day time cause they only come out at night and by then it'll be to late to get your money back but you can get another room but it's gonna have bed bugs. They really need to address the problem with the bugs. I wouldn't recommend the victory inn to anyone. They need to be shut down. BED BUGS BED BUGS BED BUGS

It was a bad experience. I got bed bug bites. Staff are rude. The room was dirty!! Bed bugs are quite common in places like hotels and motels but when you see like 30 on a pillow that's called an infestation. The one good thing is they moved our room to one with LESS BUGS. Ask for 3rd floor . ( I've heard it's cleaner)

Do not stay at this place. I have very low standards when it comes to accommodation and this place came in well below of what I was hoping for. Even at a low rate per night, it's not worth it. I would rather take my chances sleeping on the street. I was in town with a friend for a concert. By the time the concert was over we decided the three hour drive home was more appealing than staying the night in this dump. The building is obviously never cleaned and not maintained in any meaningful way. Seriously, this place is being left to rot. They make you take out your own garbage. Maybe leave some cleaning supplies in the room and I'll take care of that, too! There is a sign warning you of immediate "evition" if you are caught with a guest. I'll let you decide what that means. Please listen to me: Do not stay here.

Hotel was shut down by the city for ordinance violations months ago. Phone number has call forwarding setup for calls to be answered by a completely different hotel in some other city owned by the same company. I called in the morning and reserved a room. The employee who answered confirmed my reservation to check-in after 3 pm. Made no mention of them answering the call from another hotel in another city! I arrived expecting to check into the room I reserved over the phone only to find the place was out of business. I took a bus to get here and had just ordered a pizza intending to eat it in my room only to find myself stuck eating a pizza on a dirty grimey sidewalk. If they are no longer in business and are going to answer calls to this location's phone number from some other hotel in some other city they ought to say what is going on when they answer the phone. I have no idea what city they actually booked my reservation for but am pretty upset to have been left stranded with nowhere to stay by this company which apparently could not even keep its grounds up to par with city ordinances. Very unhappt with this complete fiasco.

I wish i could give negative stars. This place barely deserves that much! As soon as i walked in i could smell residue from what i can imagine was bug bombs or some sort of fumigation to kill insects. Mystery stains everywhere, picture above the bed was hanging on by one hook, urine stains splattered halfway up the wall... Every time i got a closer look at something i instantly regretted it. Other reviews warned of bed bugs and head lice. Be warned!! Oh, and you have 15 minutes from the time of check-in to fully inspect the room for any issues if you wish to get a new room or a refund. Should've turned around then, but oh well... If i die here, we'll know why. This place is horribly run down!! It could probably be a great backdrop for a horror movie. This hotel shouldn't be used ever, not even for a quick by-the-hour stop. Mount Clemens deserves a better hotel.

Room I got this time was gross but me and my girlfriend were too tired to move rooms just got extra sheets threw em on top of the comforter and heater kept kicking out cold air. toilet over flowed.. room 106.. I usually get put in 116 every weekend which I thought was bad but this one was worse I guess if they actually cleaned the room if the heat worked and the sheets underneath we're clean..and was warm and not cold or been clean and not looked like they just threw the comforter on top of the bed and changed the sheets!!I wouldn't be bitching as much there was no towels cigarette butts in the drawer next to the bed full of butts and smoke water tampon in drawer.. I just was so tired got sheets and went to bed! Phone to front desk even had small cochroaches underneath it!! Gross I didn't want to even deal with guy at desk caz he was the one who gave the room the night before.. I wanted to get my money back. But whatever I was too tired and in a hurry! Just said I'll call when I have a chance to talk to manager. I'll call soon!!

Went here last night; this was hands down the most disgusting hotel i could ever imagine not to mention the staff was beyond disrespectful and incompetent. There were cigarette burns in the walls, sheets and mattress. The sheets had stains all over them; ones that looked like pee and blood. The towels for the bathroom had dark stains on them as well and were very dingy. I blew my nose with toilet paper and it smelled as if someone had already used it if you get what i mean. There were also bed bugs in the bed. When my boyfriend and i asked to change rooms, the guy on duty said he couldnt do it because his manager wasn't present and that there's nothing he could do about it. He was very rude when telling us this. When the next staff member came in for his shift, we told him the situation and he said unless we have our receipt for the room, he cant switch it. apparently having the key card for our room wasn't proof enough that we had payed for the room. Received a lot of attitude from him. Idk why it's impossible to pull up our purchasing information on the computer. We had to leave in the middle of the night; I'm glad we did but now I'm extra paranoid about tracking bed bugs back into my home. Do not stay here. Go to microtel if you want cheap rates, friendly staff, and clean rooms. Thats where i usually go and will continue to go. This was absolutely revolting.

The rooms are not the best. My friend found a cockroach on the door to her room. Multiple things are broken in the room. The free continental breakfast is only one cup of coffee. Showers are disgusting and don't look like they have been cleaned in a while. Only redeeming factor is the bed was comfy. So unless u r just looking for a cheep overnight stay I wouldn't recommend checking in.
