I
have
stayed
at
this
location
quite
a
few
times
in
the
past
and
never
had
an
issue.
However,
after
my
most
recent
stay,
I
was
charged
an
additional
$250.
This
hotel
as
well
as
all
other
hotels
I
have
stayed
at
are
non-smoking
and
I
am
well
aware
of
that.
I
contacted
the
hotel
and
was
told
by
the
clerk
that
the
additional
charge
was
for
smoking
in
the
room;
there
was
ABSOLUTELY
NO
smoking
in
that
room.
The
clerk
transferred
me
to
the
General
Manager
and,
of
course,
he/she
wasn’t
available
so
I
left
a
message
because
I
want
to
see
the
“evidence”
of
smoking.
After
waiting
with
no
response
from
the
GM,
I
called
back.
The
clerk
answered
and
put
“Kim”
from
housekeeping
on
the
phone.
Kim
proceeded
to
tell
me
there
was
smoking
in
the
room
and
became
very
rude
AND
hung
up
on
me.
I
have
left
several
messages
for
the
GM
with
still
no
response.
I
have
seen
similar
reviews
where
others
have
been
charged
this
fee
when
they
state
they
did
not
smoke
in
the
room;
it
seems
to
be
a
pattern
with
this
hotel,
a
way
to
make
extra
money
I
guess.
This
is
absurd!
Had
I
smoked
in
the
room,
I
would
totally
accept
the
additional
charge
but
there
was
no
smoking
in
that
room
when
I
was
the
guest.
Beware
of
this
establishment.
Day
3
and
still
no
response
from
GM...such
lousy
customer
service.
