    As regular Hilton guests, we stayed here for one night on points on our way home from road trip. This hotel is worn and tired. Nice staff, but hotel needs major improvements. It has paper thin walls, broken gym equipment, stale rooms, stained carpets. The shower cut out three times mid-shampooing. We were kept up half the night listening to neighbour’s loud tv and conversation. We could also hear people in rooms across the hall. These other guests weren’t particularly raucous- they were just behaving normally in their rooms. The hotel felt pretty cut-rate - more like tenement living rather than a division of Hilton. We won’t stay here again. Management: Please don’t respond with usual pass-the-buck message to contact the 1-800 help line. Unless you can provide a direct number for management, we don’t consider your efforts to remedy the situation to be sincere by simply sending us to a call centre. If you want brand loyalty, you need to make more of an effort.

    Very friendly staff. Very quick check-in. Clean rooms, great friendly check out. Great breakfast for a super great rate. This is an awesome Hampton. They just do all the things well. I’ll be back.

    I had my 9 year old a pool party here the party was suppose to start at 5pm I arrived right before 3pm and was turned around because the systems were down I asked the gentleman would they call me and let me know they told me no I had to come back until they were able to because even the phones were down I finally checked in at 5pm and my children couldn’t use pool toys the kitchen staff were hiding behind a door looking through the cracks watching my children get breakfast I asked if I could store my ice cream in their freezer I was told no the housekeeper didn’t want to give me a large trash bag I had to go to the front desk where he complained about it saying oh my god what the house keeper has them on her cart the room was not %100 clean we found dog treats as we were cleaning behind the bed and under the table as I was leaving I believe his name is Daniel he was so great customer services was wonderful

    Room was clean but the walls were paper thin. You could hear the conversations going on in the room next door. The water also kept shutting off mid shower. Would not recommend.

    A sweet woman working night shift was wonderful. Stark contrast to the rude desk staff member who wanted to charge us $25 for a not lumpy smelly pillow to sleep on for one more night. And a scratchy blanket when we requested another since ours is stained and clearly worn, not the right size for the bed either. Told us we were lucky we even got one. Really nice. Walls are paper thin and our family with a toddler could smell weed from their rooms from people smoking inside.

    My parents reserved this hotel. We showed up late around 11pm and were told they are completely booked and sold our room. They stated they called with no answer but my parents had no missed calls. VERY poor service. What’s the point of reserving a room 👎

    I booked my reservation through a third-party site, which Hampton Inn directed me to while I made the reservation online. I had to cancel my reservation a month before my stay. I was told I had to pay for my reservation and would not be refunded. I recommend booking this hotel with the hotel itself.

    Nice hotel for the money and located conveniently near a multitude of stores and the highway. For the fisherman that visit the area this Is a nice spot to stay that feels pretty secure and there's electricity available outside to charge your boats.

    Great experience at this location. I travel a lot for work and also for pleasure. This location was well maintained and the front desk attendant Daniel was so accommodating to everything that I needed. Will definitely stay here again.

    0/10 would never recommend this hotel. Great Location, Walking Distance From Several Stores and Restaurants But … This was by far the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. First when my fiancée and I arrived there was a sign posted stating the pool was closed (the only reason this hotel was chosen) , so as I was expressing my anger to my fiancée as we were walking to the elevator the employee (w male about 5’11 working 4/23 @ 2pm) says “you can leave and I’ll cancel your reservation”. Ignorant and Uncalled for because I wasn’t speaking to you. Next we get to the room and there’s garbage in the bathroom on the shelves, okay whatever they probably missed it. The bathtub was also halfway filled with water (which wasn’t noticed until I went to shower last night). When we sat on the couch to eat dinner, we realized there was food in the cushions so obviously that wasn’t cleaned either. The tables were very unstable and the chair was old and ripped up. Went to shower this morning and 5 minutes into the shower, the water shuts off. It comes on and shuts off again a couple mins later. It was just a very disappointing stay.

    Where do I start? We scrimped all year to treat our family to a 2 night stay at this hotel with activities at detroit zoo,c j barrymores etc. So we were highly dissappointed by the poor customer service we experienced. The front desk staff were rude,curt,extremely unprofessional and seemed to not enjoy working there. The room was big but dirty. Dirty stained carpet.(Not what we expected paying 150 a night!!) No extra blankets given(both were stained). Hotel staff watching us eat our breakfast was off putting. Absolutely zero help when asked for location of amenities in hotel. (Was told,I don't know,I just work here) 2 days after leaving was charged an additional 250.00 on credit card!!!???? I called customer support (on hold 2 hours) they couldn't figure out why they charged us an additional 250 dollars(no description given) so they did refund us that back but GEEZ!!!! Worst company/hotel experience. Be wary!!!!

    I used nearly all of the facilities and was there a week. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and comfortable. Pool was nice. I used the computers and printers which all worked as expected. Laundry room was helpful, but you will need to bring quarters. Overall a very nice experience and would recommend.

    The night my daughter and I stayed was when we had that snow storm so we didn’t get a room until late with no internet but not there fault and the lady was really nice and gave us a discount on it because of that. A nice place to stay

    I have stayed at this location quite a few times in the past and never had an issue. However, after my most recent stay, I was charged an additional $250. This hotel as well as all other hotels I have stayed at are non-smoking and I am well aware of that. I contacted the hotel and was told by the clerk that the additional charge was for smoking in the room; there was ABSOLUTELY NO smoking in that room. The clerk transferred me to the General Manager and, of course, he/she wasn’t available so I left a message because I want to see the “evidence” of smoking. After waiting with no response from the GM, I called back. The clerk answered and put “Kim” from housekeeping on the phone. Kim proceeded to tell me there was smoking in the room and became very rude AND hung up on me. I have left several messages for the GM with still no response. I have seen similar reviews where others have been charged this fee when they state they did not smoke in the room; it seems to be a pattern with this hotel, a way to make extra money I guess. This is absurd! Had I smoked in the room, I would totally accept the additional charge but there was no smoking in that room when I was the guest. Beware of this establishment. Day 3 and still no response from GM...such lousy customer service.

    Nice and clean, safe location. Only issue I had was all the bed pillows were too soft. I need a firm pillow for health reasons, but most places don't have a firm pillow. Not a huge deal, but would be nice if just one of the 4 pillows was more firm and not a fat squishy one.
