I traveled to the area for work for almost two months and I have to say I really enjoyed my stay there. RJ was my favorite person there because every time I came in that door, he was at the front desk with a smile and a warm greeting. It was always a pleasure to see him. He always had suggestions for local restaurants or events. He made my time away from home, a little, less stressful and more enjoyable.

I just want to thank RJ who assisted me throughout check and during the evening as I settled for my stay. The cleaning staff and breakfast staff were friendly and gave me confidence to stay here again. Good experience deserves noting!!!

We were a bundle of nerves leading up to our wedding weekend stay. Despite previously requesting a shuttle when booking our block of rooms, Elizabeth failed to include this in our reservation. Discovering this just three days before the wedding caused us much undue stress. Additionally, we were disappointed with our suite's location next to the noisy ice machine, which forced me to sleep with earplugs. The bed, while passable, wasn't as comfortable as we're used to at Marriott properties. However, the shining star of our stay was RJ, who went above and beyond to make our time at the hotel special. His sweet, handwritten note congratulating us on our nuptials was a wonderful touch. RJ truly deserves a promotion and a raise for his outstanding customer service skills. He is a rare gem in today's workforce, and we hope the hotel recognizes and retains such a valuable employee.

Comfortable room, someone prior to us using room smoked in room. Only thing I didn't like.

Not a bad place to stay, the rooms were pretty nice and the service was good. The location is nice because you are right by a Walmart and a number of places to eat which is always nice.

Very nice hotel in a newly developed location. Hotel is within walking distance of several restaurants and stores. I loved the "Snack corner" which was stocked with candy, chips, drinks, laundry detergent, and even safety pins. (Which we ended up needing) Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great!!

This hotel would not accept a Support Animal! They are by law not to refuse a certified animal! My cat has traveled all over the US & Canada for over 6 yrs and has never been refused!!! He has better manners than the majority of children these days!!!! I WILL NEVER STAY AT ANOTHER FAIRFIELD AGAIN!

I have stayed here at least 4 times in the last 3 months and it is always a pleasant stay. They fill up quickly on the weekends though. I don't know if this is a thing for all hotels or just hotels in the area or Fairfield in particular, but every time I have stayed there, a travel hockey or soccer team is also staying at the hotel. Usually kids no older than 17 and no younger than 11. They are usually well behaved and since they have to wake up early Sunday morning for their game, they are usually in bed before 10pm .the parents are the ones who can sometimes make too much noise at night. Usually with beer involved lol but those times prove to be rather entertaining in my opinion. They have a Belgium waffle maker thing thye put out for breakfast and those white and chocolate milks they serve in schools for breakfast. Breakfast ends at 9:30. I try to be down there first thing when it starts but I'm obsessed with waffles and breakfast.

I just checked out of room 314. I stay at Marriott‘s all over and this one will not be one of them again. It doesn’t make sense seems like everybody’s angry. The guy who checked me in last night was angry with attitude. Not sure why??? I made a coffee and the smoke alarm went off… I stayed here once before and the staff was very pleasant. I’m not sure what’s going on now, but as a titanium elite member and the amount of stays around Marriotts, i usually get greeted at the least with professionalism, I say if you don’t like your job, find another one. Oh, I will be staying at the complete suites moving forward when I pass by this area moving forward.

I had an amazing stay at this Fairfield Inn & Suites! I don’t think I have ever seen such an accommodating and pleasant staff at a hotel. The front desk folks were fantastic and helped me get into a room the suited my needs and even worked hard to keep me in the same room the following night. The gal that set up breakfast heated up more food for my family towards the end of breakfast time, which was really helpful with hungry, small children. The rooms were clean and smelled nice and all of the cleaning team was helpful as well. Thank you for the wonderful stay. If I need a hotel in Michigan, I will be sure to stay at this location again!

Currently, it is 0346 in the morning. Apparently when they built this place soundproofing was not high on their priority, because I was awakened to the sounds of someone doing exactly what people do in hotels in 3 am. Not sure if I should cheer the couple on or be concerned for whoever is on the receiving end of what sounds like an earthquake above me. Housekeeping isn't great either: used soap still in the shower and hair all over the floors. At least the beds are sturdy?

Service was a bit lackluster for an elite member but overall was pretty decent.Biggest complaint is having the front sliding doors only be openable past a certain time with your key which is very very aggravating when you're trying to come in with a bunch of stuff

If you are planning a stay soon beware of construction on Hall Road . Otherwise I was very impressed with this hotel's service, cleanliness, and comfortable beds!

A 4 for facilities (not enough lighting in the room for serious business travel) but a 5+ for the effort put in by the staff to correct corporate screw-ups. Longtime Bonvoy members requested and confirmed late checkout but the bleeding Marriott computer system cancelled the keys at noon, locking me out of the room. Local staff busted their tails to restore the access Marriott promised. Thanks!

Breakfast was awful! No selection no waffle makers in service. Frozen pre made breakfast sandwiches microwaved and put in warmers. No bread for toast. No bagels. Some sort of muffins but no labels stating what they were. Pool had so much chlorine in it that just being in the room made your eyes burn. It was even worse if you got in the pool. There was 4 chairs in pool area. Not near enough pool towels. Doors slamming all night and very early in the morning. Could see light all around the door when room was dark. Positives were that room was clean. Bathrooms were nice. Beds were comfortable. I will say we had 4 suites booked and two were bigger than the other two. That should be disclosed when booking. Staff that checked us in wasn’t very friendly. Person in charge of breakfast didn’t really seem to care and wasn’t in any kind of uniform so we weren’t really sure if she was working. There was a very nice woman who checked us out though.

The room was nice, but I felt for the money they charged the least they could do was provide a better complimentary breakfast.
