    Made a reservation on behalf of my employer for a cargo van a month earlier. 18 hours before pickup, received a call that they had rented all their cargo vans to a corporate account. Their fix, they have a minivan available. I have one of those. I needed a cargo van to transport merchandise to an event. The more merchandise, the great opportunity for sales. I was surprised that a well-known company such as Hertz would be so unprofessional, irresponsible and unreliable. They basically were unapologetic about the whole matter. It was not big deal to them. They obviously don't care about commitments to their customers. I will definitely do my best not to use Hertz for any rentals in the future. Thankfully U-Haul was able to accommodate me. Since this incident in February, I have rented a van from U-Haul 6 times. You snooze, you lose Hertz. As a side note, the customer service rep (I believe his name was Deon), was cold and unsympathetic to my predicament. I have dealt with him a couple times prior and always left thinking he bordered on being rude and should not be in customer service.

    I made a reservation one month before rental. On day of pickup, I had to wait just under TWO hours for the car. I was told that they had a ton of body shop and dealer rentals that morning. So there I was, waiting in line behind people who had a vehicle reserved for them a half hour before! I was traveling to a conference and the buy in advance savings was not worth the extra aggravation and interstate hotel room that resulted from the late start!

    This was the absolute worst experience I've ever had! The male employee was rude and threatening. After he attempted to apologize for being rude and unprofessional he requested a fist bump, when I declined he asked for a hug!! He proceeded to approach me and when I asked him not to touch me with with my arm out in defense, he grabbed me anyway! A complete violation of of my body which is considered battery. A case is being filled. Hertz is refusing to release the surveillance video!

    This place always delivers.. Deon is great at making the best customer experience and great cars. Jasmine is also great. I’m not sure all other names, everyone strives to accommodate. Cars are always clean and provide a fun driving experience. and despite being busy and often dealing with a lot of customers and difficult scenarios, they always treat me respectfully. I’m now a Hertz Gold member thanks for letting me know about it. Never a disappointment to choose this location for your rental needs.

    This location should have a negative rating as one star is too high. I've rented hundreds of vehicles and I'm currently in the Hertz Gold Plus Rewards Program at the President's Circle level. This location was the worst experience I've ever experienced as a renter. First of all the vehicle class that we reserved was an SUV Nissan Rogue or similar. When we arrived at the location at the time of our rental we were told that they didn't have any vehicles. Then we were told that they had one minivan that they could rent. When we said that would be okay, we were then told it would be an additional charge per day because it was in a different class of vehicle. I said to the representative that Hertz really hasn't been the same since they went into bankruptcy in 2020 and this was unacceptable that we shouldn't have to pay an up-charge because they didn't have the vehicle we reserved. The representative said that I disrespected him and he wouldn't rent to us. I said I've done nothing to disrespect you I've stated that Hertz isn't the same as it was prior to the bankruptcy as they don't seem to have the vehicle inventory that they did and when I rent cars they seem to be higher in mileage than they used to be. The representative was very rude and again stated that he wouldn't rent the vehicle to us and we left the location. I can't believe this is a corporate location and they employ people like this. I'm finding it more difficult to continue to do business with Hertz. At this point I'm also contacting Hertz corporate to file an official complaint against the location and employee.

    Hertz Car Rental at the Parma location was great! The staff like Jasmine were very accommodating. Whenever I called to inquire about the status of my rental in progress, the staff were helpful. Very customer oriented. I highly recommend Hertz Car Rental, Parma branch.

    The man on the phone today was threatening to me multiple times. Because of a delayed flight I was trying to pick up my car at a later time, which according to Hertz’ system was going to double my original rate of $800 to $1600…because I was trying to rent for less time. I was understandably frustrated and instead of helping, the man said and I quote “I don’t think you should come in here for your rental” “You should go to another location” “I would rather not you come in here” which only infers he was guaranteeing some kind of conflict or altercation if I physically showed up. Insane.

    We picked up a car from this place, was great experience. We loved the ppl there, so friendly. Great car, no wait. Jaylen took great care of us! We definitely comes back.

    I don’t know what they have going on over there. Some kind of fraud. Vehicles show available on multiple sites including Hertz Corp site… make a reservation directly through Hertz, get there and no Vehicle. The manager is trash. They have to do better because someone’s not doing their job or they’re doing some shady stuff.

    These guys were great! When our cat was due on Sunday, they accepted it on Monday without charging us. I loved the 2023 VW Tiaguan I rented, too! Everything went well and I will use them again, as I've used them before!

    The amount of time I had to wait to get my car was ridiculous. I have never waited so long for a rental. I think the poor service rep had to work the desk and clean the cars. The spray they put in the car was horrible, and it was there all week. Like someone smoked in it, and then they had to mask the smell.

    Easy pick up and return the price was affordable for the time we needed it . The small suv was clean and full on fuel. Deone Davidson's customer service was exemplary especially as a one man show .

    The manager Jasmine Smith went over and beyond to accommodate for us. She is someone that me and my colleague truly valued and Hertz should make sure to do the same. She was very professional, precise, endearing and simply pleasant to work with. I would highly recommend contacting her for your rental vehicle needs. Exceptional service from Jasmine and staff.

    Deone was extremely professional and efficient with providing the correct information I needed for all my questions. They made the process quick and easy and definitely would recommend working with them again in the future. We have used this Hertz a couple of years ago and have gotten the same service. Thanks for making it quick between my lunch break!

    The initial pick up experience was alright. I had reserved a full size sedan, but they were out of them so they gave me an suv instead. It was a wierd Chevy Equinox that must have been a hybrid, the engine turned off at every stop sign and traffic light. It's hard to pull out into traffic when you have to wait for the vehicle to start again at EVERY stop sign. I wish they would have warned me about this before they gave me the vehicle. The gas tank was not full when I got it. I was sure to return it with more gas than it had when I got it so I wouldn't get charged extra for gas, but they still charged me for extra gas. I called customer service and was told I would get a refund for the overcharge, but I never received it. Very poor customer service.

    DO NOT ATTEMPT TO RENT from this location! Reserved a SUV-class vehicle yesterday on the Hertz website to pick up this morning at 8am, only to be told when we got there they didn't have any vehicles but could give us a minivan. Not our first choice but we agreed, only to be told there would be an additional expense. Any other time I have rented a vehicle and the class reserved was not available I was given whatever was available without any extra charge. When we expressed our frustration with this and stated that Hertz hasn't been the same since their bankruptcy in 2020, the man said we were insulting him (we weren't) and he would not be renting us a vehicle today. Total trash, avoid like the plague!

    Brookpark Hertz is fantastic!!! Needed a rental due to an accident, the car ended up being totaled. Luckily rental is covered by my insurance. Jazmyn, Brittney and Jaylen were fast, friendly and extremely competent! Even was upgraded at no extra charge to me or my insurance!! They explained everything before doing anything, no surprises! If I never need to rent another car, I will be back here for sure

    James and his team were great at assisted me with my rental car. While I did pre-purchase for a sedan sized (like a Malibu option), none were available at the time. So they offered us a great SUV for the same price! He walked around the car with me and was making notes of previous scratches/dents. While this location is small and not crowded, it's a great location for people living in Parma and surrounding areas. We will definitely be renting from them, again!

    This has to be the MOST PROFESSIONAL rental company I have EVER encountered. The employees were kind and caring and very professional from the moment we walked in the door. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND dealing with the Brookpark Road Hertz Car Rental facility. Someone give these employees a raise!!!!!!!!!!! You don't find high quality customer service anymore but this place does it extremely well! Thanks for everything!

    Would give 0 stars if I could. Made a reservation on the website, paid for ride across town to pick it up, but no vehicle was available. The fix - add you to a waitlist when you arrive to pick it up. Website and corporate customer service are still booking reservations. It’s not that difficult to keep an accurate inventory. It’s also not difficult to give someone a heads up before they get there. Don’t trust a reservation made here.

    The only reason I’m giving 3 stars is because he representative I spoke on the phone with was amazing and helpful. The WHITE lady at the airport counter was so incredibly rude. This was my first time renting a car and I knew nothing(so I’m taking accountability). But she literally sat there and did nothing to at least try and help me. I called the customer service line to get a refund at the most and she was very patient and ended up helping me still get a car at another location.

    General manager was very supportive. Standard car per reservation was not available, GM contacted multiple branches looking for a replacement, and he managed to provide a higher level car at no additional cost

    Possibly the worst rental car company ever. They will allow you to book a car and apply a higher daily rate when you show up to pick up the car. Further extending the vehicle they tried to double the rate. The company also allowed me to book a car that wasn't available forcing me purchase a more expensive vehicle at pickup.

    I have booked with Hertz twice now in a month and been canceled on with less than 24 hours notice… They blame the current inventory of rental cars but there seems to be a bigger issue. They said all of the local hertz are sold out and I can join the waitlist with over 30 people on it… I now have less than 24 hours to find a rental car. 🙄🙄🙄 I had previously only used Hertz but will be going with Avis from now on, they try harder.
