πŸ‘πŸ‘ Went there during the evening to walk and watch the sunset. The paths were very well kept, zero trash, vending machines located throughout. The restrooms were extremely clean. They also have kayak rentals there. Highly recommend.

Beautiful place! Check out the scenery or take advantage of the boat launch and beach. If you prefer pools, that is option as well. Throw in a kid's splash pad, a small golf course, volleyball courts and softball fields you find enough to keep you and your family entertained for quite some time.

Is the most beautiful, controlled, enviroment, clean, I have been taking my kids to this beach for 40 years or more. The people are very pleasant, Ladies and all are respected.

Fun beach you can see the Ren Center from here, 21 miles away! Only drawback is that it's a lot of seaweed in the water and along the coastline. But you can used to it.

Such a beautiful place to get exercise, spend time with the family, BBQs, swimming and so much more. The view is breathtaking.

It's quite a popular place for people to go and swim in. An excellent way to beat the heat on a hot summer's day.

Been a Eastside destination for many years. Only getting better with age as they are consistent with their upkeep of facilities and grounds keeping. Nice scenic paved walking trails with views of lake st. claire and ample beach accommodation. Can get a lil busy on hot summer weekends, but that's to be expected right. Pro tip...just buy the yearly pass, you'll be coming back.

Stinks like the lake but I think it is supposed to. Nice place for a walk. Would not swim 8n the lake here. The sand is sometimes too gross to go on. But the playground is good and so is the boardwalk.

I don't know what they did but the last 3 years I came to metro with my dog to see the geese and ducks and swans. they continued to run them off slowly with golf carts and motorized boats. They have finally succeeded they are all gone. Time to find a new park.

The grounds were clean, the scenery is awesome, but the roads and parking are atrocious, pot holes,no clear signs on where to go, entrance and exit are terrible, hate to see my tax dollars wasted so,not near enough trash cans,no color, where are the flowers

Nice and quiet during the week. Very busy on weekends and major traffic on holidays. Great for long walks out to the point with great lake views. There’s something for everyone to do. Pickle ball courts, par 3 golf course, nature center, swimming pool with locker rooms and updated playground with newer equipment for the kids.

Hell yeah. A local beach that isn't behind a big paywall or residency status. I always wish, though, that people wouldn't smoke cigarettes or leave their trash behind. It's overall a good park, but please, if you come here, respect others.
