If
I
could
give
zero
stars,
I
would.
My
father
went
to
the
Wills
Eye
ER
on
Friday
after
being
told
by
his
eye
doctor
to
head
down
there
ASAP
to
get
an
MRI
due
to
him
seeing
double.
In
total,
he
spent
18
hours
in
this
ER
and
left
without
any
answers.
He
arrived
with
my
brother
at
1:00pm
on
Friday.
By
10:00pm
Friday,
he
still
had
not
been
taken
back
for
an
MRI.
I
arrived
to
relieve
my
brother
around
10:30pm.
After
my
father
watched
multiple
people
who
arrived
after
him
be
taken
back
for
their
MRIs
and
results,
he
was
finally
taken
back
at
1:12am
on
Saturday,
12
hours
after
he
arrived.
He
came
back
from
his
MRI
at
2:26am
Saturday.
By
6am
Saturday
we
were
still
waiting
in
the
ER
to
be
seen
by
the
doctor
to
be
told
the
results.
My
father
asked
at
the
counter
a
few
times
if
they
had
forgotten
about
him
and
if
he
could
get
his
IV
line
removed
as
he
was
uncomfortable.
We
were
told
that
the
doctor
wanted
to
see
him
and
that’s
why
we
were
waiting.
At
6:30am
Saturday
a
male
nurse
finally
took
us
back
and
asked
us
how
we
were
doing.
We
responded
that
we
were
exhausted
to
which
he
said
“That
makes
7
of
us”
referring
to
the
other
staff
on
hand.
This
nonchalance
completely
invalidated
my
father
and
I’s
frustration
and
exhaustion
from
being
in
a
dirty
and
uncomfortable
waiting
room
for
hours
without
sleep.
We
did
not
choose
a
career
as
an
ER
professional,
so
we
did
not
appreciate
this
nurse
lumping
in
his
chosen
tiredness
with
our
forced
tiredness.
After
a
few
minutes,
Dr.
Penny
finally
came
back
to
see
us
but
never
bothered
to
enter
the
room;
She
just
lingered
in
the
doorway.
She
again
confirmed
that
there
were
no
final
results
for
his
MRI
and
that
we’ve
waited
this
long,
what’s
waiting
a
little
longer?
To
which
we
both
replied
that
we
haven’t
slept
in
24
hours
now
and
my
father
has
two
animals
at
home
that
needed
to
be
taken
care
of.
She
condescendingly
replied
to
my
father
telling
him
that
he
is
an
adult
and
can
make
his
own
decisions,
but
if
he
leaves
against
medical
advice,
he
will
not
receive
the
results
of
his
MRI.
She
also
mentioned
that
she
wanted
to
make
sure
that
my
father
didn’t
have
something
serious
going
on
like
a
stroke,
which
after
18
hours
of
waiting
in
a
waiting
room,
I
believe
he
would’ve
already
been
irreparably
affected
as
he
was
not
tended
to
as
if
his
situation
was
even
slightly
a
true
medical
emergency.
We
were
given
less
than
2
minutes
to
discuss
our
options
when
she
cut
off
my
father
and
I’s
conversation
and
said
that
she
needed
a
decision
as
she
was
inching
herself
even
further
out
of
the
doorway
that
she
was
standing
in.
I
fully
believe
my
father’s
complete
lack
of
timely
care
was
a
result
of
his
lack
of
insurance
as
we
watched
other
individuals
get
tended
to
much
more
quickly
and
treated
with
much
more
compassion.
Overall,
I
am
appalled
by
this
facility’s
approach
to
patient
care
and
disgusted
by
the
state
of
the
facilities.
They
were
dirty,
staff
were
unfriendly
and
unhelpful
(I
asked
for
my
$42
parking
to
be
validated
and
was
told
the
person
wasn’t
there
so
they
couldn’t
do
anything),
and
the
ER
waiting
room
in
general
is
wildly
uncomfortable
for
anything
more
than
an
hour
or
two
stay
let
alone
18
hours.
The
only
saving
grace
was
the
nurse,
Natalie,
who
my
father
said
was
very
nice
during
his
otherwise
atrocious
care.
