    We usually go to the Sarku Japan locations in Southeast Florida. We were excited to find this location on a road trip. Despite the long line and long wait, the food was just a tasty as usual. Stop by for a quick bite if you are in the area, you won't be disappointed.

    I spent $ 43.29 for 3 dinners just now and I'm not sure how or why our food including the egg rolls were actually cold. ,not upset until they rolled their eyes and basically had a rude demeanor to my asking simply to reheat our food. I am extremely disappointed with the service and lack of hospitality to try to fix a simple problem.

    I’ve only had bad experiences the past few times i have been here. I’ve had workers refuse to make food an hour before closing. Today was New Years so I expected different hours. I looked at the mall’s website and it said they opened at 10am on New Years. I showed up at 12:30 and no one was making anything. There was a worker in the back and they told me “maybe later” for making food.

    I placed an online order that was supposed to be ready at a certain time, I get there to pick up my order and of course it was not ready. I expect my order to be ready if I'm ordering online, the purpose is to not have to wait in your outrageously long lines. I ordered 2 shrimp teriyaki dinners with sushi, he only made 1, then when I told him it was 2 he seemed to have gotten an attitude because he didn't read the receipt correctly. Also, they usually ask you if you want extra teriyaki and he did not. I had to ask for it while with other customers he asked them if they wanted extra. Definitely won't be going back to this place again.

    We go here almost every time we visit the mall. Today when I ordered the beef and rice the guy cooking already put the extra sauce over the beef and rice. I asked if that was mine and he said yes. I said oh I didn't want the extra sauce. He said we don't put it on while it is cooking. I said I have ordered here many times and they always ask me if I wanted extra sauce. He said I know what I am doing. Then he said you want a new one? I said yes please. He said well its going to take a while and said go sit down motioning me away with his hand. I said we'll I am still waiting on my daughter's meal. He put the chicken on it. I said to him you don't need to get angry about it and he said I am not but you could hear the tone in his voice. I took my daughters food to our table and stood there while he was cooking my meal. He called me back over to tell me mine was ready. I said thank you and walked away.

    Terrible customer service. Charges you for shrimp sauce. Fills your plates with nasty cabbage instead of something edible.

    I just don't know what happened. This place used to be fantastic, but apparently they are riding the popularity wave and not caring about quality. I have gone 2-3 times recently. I even stood in an incredibly long line on a Sunday once. The food is just not as good as it used to be, and the people more or less don't care. It's wayyy overhyped and they definitely have drawn back on the portions compared to stuffed boxes you used to get. I ordered a soda and it was practically a sugary grenade, the lid was flooded and I was in a line trying to clean up my arm and all the soda spilled everywhere. Edit: just went again a year later, hoping maybe I had a bad day. Nope. Food is BLAND. No salt, veggies just taste crunchy with no flavor. Rice has no salt in it. Chicken tastes like water. At least my soda was filled properly and didn't explode this time.

    This location is nothing like the location that was in Columbia Mall on Two Notch. For starters they don’t cook their veggies and it’s mainly lettuce. I asked specifically for our food not to be near seafood as my middle child has a seafood allergy. We get home and open the plates to find a piece of shrimp sitting on top of the veggies. We had a taste for Sharku and came to this location expecting the same service we got from the old location only to be severely disappointed. Ahhh, forgot to mention my son was treated like a liar…he went to pick up our food and he had to show proof we paid for four plates instead of three. Won’t be returning.

    Yuck, in NYC I eat this all of the time. I had two spoonfuls. Rice mushy and the chicken was too. Dumplings barely warm and the dipping sauce watered DOWN.

    I stopped in the Mall today to see what new types of food places they had in the food court. I tried a sample of 2 different types of chicken from this 1 place, I think it was Thai, not sure though. Both samples tasted great! Because of the price I decided to go with this 1 instead. I got the Chicken, Shrimp, White Rice and Veggies. The workers their are fantastic employees! They know how to cook and know how to answer any questions. They even make drumming noises with thier cooking utensils; cooking or 😆! Once I got what I ordered, went & sat down had not a problem at all, the only thing was my taste buds where still overwhelmed from the Thai food!! The food was still good and great, but I really think that they over cooked the rice, for the price! And it's like they say you only get what you pay for!

    I don't know what I was thinking. Our dining party wanted sushi for lunch, especially salmon. I pulled into the parking lot of a mall to locate someplace close to us. Low and behold, there was a sushi place right inside the mall! I looked at their website. The sushi looked great. So we went in. It is definitely not a sushi restaurant. Seriously, how could I have made that mistake, considering that this was a chain restaurant in a mall? The friendly employees at this particular Sarku told me they only carried three types of sushi: California roll, chicken teriyaki roll, and shrimp tempura roll. Given those choices, we ended up getting Bento boxes. The Bento boxes were pretty decent, but the California rolls that came with them had dry, hard rice, a minuscule amount of crab, and no avocado at all that I could tell. For a chain fast food restaurant, it was great, but please. Take the sushi off the website. I felt like I had been lied to.
