Great park in Belmont within the downtown area. Good park with activities to workout, walk around and for the kids to play on. Bathroom was gross. Men's room was wet with a clogged toilet. Definitely needs maintenance

Love the Stowe Park located right in the center of beautiful Belmont Take the family, the dogs or just go and spend some time solo and enjoy! Don't forget to grab a coffee or drink to sip at the everyday market across the street :)

One of the best parks in gaston County by far. It's nice and shady and calm here. Many people were out painting while we were there.

I visited this park cause it was one of the recommended places with Christmas decorations. I was expecting a big park with Christmas trees but it's a small cute park, decorated for Christmas. Each Christmas tree was decorated by a department or store. It looks nice but there's only a small walking area.

Very fun playground, plenty of green space to walk around in. We visited during the Christmas tree contest which was a welcome surprise! The main attraction was the squirrels, though. I've lived in a squirrel-infested neighborhood for years and have never seen a volume of squirrels this high. I'm serious. We counted at least 15 in our brief walk. And they're FAT! it was absolutely hilarious seeing the sheer magnitude of the squirrel population here. Def recommend paying a visit.

Nice park. My kid loves playing here. The surrounding area is quaint & very charming. Located in a very nice area. You have to consider the parking situation here though. You can park in the specifically marked areas between 8am and 7pm for up to 2 hours only or you have to find a public parking area or a garage. Just keep that in mind before you decide to drive there. Good luck out there you guys! Be safe & try to have some fun when & where you can!

First time at this park today and definitely will be back. Park was beautiful, up to date, shaded areas, clean, and had a pretty fountain. Right near all the Belmont shops & restaurants so you could check those out first and then head over to the park for the kids.

Garabaldi Festival was so much fun. Great bands, String Therapy and Rev On, the Foreigner Tribute band. Great art vendors. Several food and drink food trucks.

A terrific BOO FEST for Halloween with wonderful costume contest! Rania Mongiello won 🏆 Second Place for her rendition of an insurance sales demon 😈 complete with one-million dollar per month policies offered! Such a silly dilly. She is so creative and thinks up of the funniest ideas and then builds her own costume.

A nice park. Pretty well maintained. Not overpopulated by the denizens of the streets as are some other parks. I enjoyed bringing my children here when they were little. The downtown area has more food and shopping options now, revitalization is taking hold. Fresh air and sunshine, that's what you need to be healthy! June, 2022: Recently watched bluegrass musicians jam in the park with my family. It was a free event and a nice time. I hope there is another jam soon, I highly recommend. 12/18/2022 Daughter played keyboards for a Christmas fundraiser for local charity. Vary nice event, park very nicely decorated for Christmas

Stowe park is great for all ages. Playground, workout, leisurely walk or picnic. Great events through the year. Located right downtown so get your favorite takeout and enjoy.

Beautiful park with benches, water fountain and walking paths. The 4th of July Fireworks and music were wonderful.

We had a GREAT time at Stowe Park tonight! Although the kids were very upset that no one was giving out candy for Halloween like they've done for years! The kids still enjoyed playing on the playground equipment and hearing the live music. The park looked great with all of the blue lights lit up!

We always have a good time coming out to Stowe Park in Belmont and last night was no exception. Movies in the park with one of my favorites, The Princess Bride. The semicircular lawn area in front of the big inflatable screen let everyone have their own space with lawn chairs or blankets and enjoy snacks and beverages. Looking forward to attending again soon.

Lovely large park in the town of Belmont. Playground, fountain, amphitheater, walking paths, shade. Very nice park so close to the center of town. We went to the "near"fourth of July celebration on June 30th. It was VERY crowded, but the band was good, the beer line wasn't too long, and the crowd was friendly. They could have used more food trucks. Those lines were very long.

We enjoy it when they have small concerts and venues as well as a nice leisurely walk in the park. They also have a nice playground for the children. Very well maintained...

Beautiful clean park with updated playground equipment that's fun for the kids. Very nicely shaded by large trees & includes a pretty water fountain. Trains pass by from time to time, which is also a hit if your child is into trains like mine is. Love visiting here!

There was a Moonlight on Mainstreet exhibit this weekend and it was beautiful. The park itself had a nice lit up fountain. Without the exhibit it would still be worth a visit if you're in the area. Lots of restaurants and bars nearby.
