I had been eyeing this salon a few times whenever I pass it walking my dog. Yesterday, I decided I'd walk in and make an appointment, which I ended up not having to do because Dora, junior stylist, was able to take me. From the outside, it looks beautiful and classy. From the inside, it's gorgeous, but also relaxing and cozy. The staff is LOVELY. They are warm, friendly and accommodating. I also really appreciated that my service dog could be with me and I didn't feel like I was being judged. Sometimes I find that salons can feel a little intimidating depending on the personalities of the staff, but everyone was so nice that it allowed me to enjoy myself and actually practice self-care, treating myself to a fresh color and cut. I must also add that I don't know what magic they do with their coffee, but it was the most delicious cappuccino I've had. Finally, I even got to meet Jon, the owner, who wasn't supposed to be there, and he was such a kindhearted man (and he loved my dog, telling me he was welcome there anytime). I was very happy I walked in and I left feeling so much better and beautiful. Thank you for such a wonderful experience. I'm looking forward to returning for my follow-up in a few months!

I absolutely love Salon La Bottega. The owner John Veraza is so awesome and friendly. Plus he loves dogs. Yes, this hair salon loves furbys and is a very dog friendly salon. All of the staff is so friendly and professional. They make you feel welcomed. Jay has been my hair stylist for over a year and she's a gem. She's very friendly, outgoing, has an amazing personality and she's also very professional. My first appointment with Jay I consulted with to her what type of caramel highlights and ash medium brown root color I wanted and when she was done with the final product my hair looked so spectacular like from a fashion magazine. Jay has magical hands and she's very seasoned and knows her colors and blending technique really well. If your looking for a hair salon in the White Plains area look no further and book your hair appointment with Jay. I highly recommend her because she's so phenomenal! Love her and the salon.

I have only been going to La Bottega since 2018, however my most recent visit in the Spring of 2021 left a very bad taste in my mouth. While I try my best to be understanding that it is still a pandemic, and businesses are struggling, this seemed more of a scheduling/service issue that was handled very poorly. I scheduled an appointment at 2 o clock on a Saturday, with Christina- the woman who has done my blowouts/trims in the past. As I was about to leave home for my appointment, a receptionist called me from the salon to inform me that Christina's previous client was running a bit overtime, and she would need about 10-15 more minutes. I said not a problem, especially since I am the one who usually is running late. When I arrived about a quarter after 2, I got my hair rinsed per usual and then waited for Christina to start the haircut. Fast forward to when she was about to blowout my hair, she told me I would need my hair washed AGAIN because it was not rinsed out properly and there was too much residue to give it a proper blowout. Frustrated, I agreed, because I knew it was only because she wanted me to get my money's worth. Still, I was annoyed that it resulted in this (an improper rinse) in the first place. After wash #2, Christina proceeded the blowout once again, only to be interrupted by the receptionist saying her next client was there for her 3pm (?) appointment. As I have mentioned, I have been here quite a few times, and having long thick hair they usually allot ~90 minutes for my sessions. I heard Christina mention to the woman that she hadn't even finished my trim yet, and would probably need 20 minutes minimum. Sound familiar? I knew it wasn't the girl's fault who had the 3 o clock appointment. And if I was her, I wouldn't want to wait either. But if my appointment didn't begin until 2:15, why not at least notify this woman that they were running behind and see about rescheduling to a different time? I have been very satisfied each time I have gone to Christina, which is why it made me almost furious when she told me a different stylist would be finishing my trim/blowout and that I was in "good hands" ...Seriously? If I was late for my appointment and the next client was waiting for their slot, I would be a bit more understanding. However I was TOLD to come at a later time, kindly agreed, had to rewash my hair due to no fault of my own, only to have my session cut short (no pun intended) because the salon over booked themselves? I'm sorry but that's just not right. Maybe it was just a very busy day, or an off day, but it seemed like it was one thing after the other and months later it still makes me very upset to think about, especially after 3 years of very pleasant experiences.

I've been Jay's client for over 10 years and I do not trust anyone else with my hair. If you want perfection then search no more. She will give you the most amazing haircut and color you will ever get. Her bubbly personality makes your entire day. She is super knowledgeable and will give you the best advise. She won't try to sell you crap that you don't need either like some other stylists do. She will definitely recommend you what you really need and will even show you how to style your hair at home. The salon is beautiful as well and the entire staff is super nice and professional. They really treat you like royalty there.

Rita is my hairdresser. She is an excellent colorist and hair stylist. She is very confident and works very quickly. I recommend her & you will love the way she makes you look!

Ann is the most talented hair dresser. She is an expert at coloring and cutting. You will never be disappointed. I’ve been with her for 25+ years because there is no one more talented! No one!

Ann Mari has been doing my hair, both color and cut for 15 years. She has kept my style and color current and my hair looking its best. I think she is one of the most talented hairdressers around.

La Bottega is awesome and so is my stylist, Jay! She has the patience to listen to what you want and then tells you what you need to do to achieve it. ..that's rare. I have been to other salons that just ruined my hair and Jay and I work together so well, that slowly we are finding my "roots." The staff is great, very helpful, the salon is inviting and lucky for me, I feel so great when I leave, I have that "only my hairdresser knows" because Jay is that darn good!!!

Classy and , at the same time, friendly environment. Marida (not sure how to spell her name) did a fantastic job with cutting and dyeing my hair. She listened to me and my hair came out exactly like I wanted. Every time I go to this salon , I walk out completely satisfied! Are they Expensive? Maybe a little more pricy compared to the average in the area BUT I am happy with my hair every time I see myself in the mirror. Good job Salon La Bottega.
