⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This place was an amazing find! It was my first time trying Georgian food, and I must say, I had an exceptional experience. The restaurant's ambiance was warm and inviting, and the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. As a Hispanic person, I was a bit apprehensive about trying a completely new cuisine, but the menu was surprisingly comprehensive, offering a wide array of options. Almost everything on the menu was unfamiliar to me, but that made it even more exciting! To my surprise, the flavors in Georgian food were not as different from what I'm used to in my Hispanic cuisine. However, the combination of spices and unique ingredients made it an unforgettable and truly novel culinary adventure. Each dish was bursting with delightful flavors that tantalized my taste buds in the most delightful way. If you're looking for a new and exciting dining experience, this restaurant is an absolute must-visit. The blend of familiar and novel flavors will take your palate on an exhilarating journey. I highly recommend it, especially if you've never tried Georgian cuisine before. Trust me; you won't be disappointed! In conclusion, the restaurant exceeded my expectations, and I can't wait to return to explore more of their delicious offerings. Kudos to the chef and the entire team for creating such a wonderful dining experience. Don't miss out on this gem; go and savor the flavors of Georgia for yourself!

I'm always on the hunt for different cuisines to try, that I don't normally eat. Shoti Bread House has been on my radar for a while, and we finally got the chance to check it out one Friday. We came at around 6 pm and there were a good amount of people dining there already. Out of the handful of times I've tried Georgian food, all of them have involved khachapuri, or the bread boat filled with cheese. So this time, I wanted to do something a bit lighter, and try something else. We ordered: -Strawberry compote - a really sweet and syrupy strawberry juice, which I would not recommend -Shoti (grilled bread) - first plate is complimentary and extra is $3, but so worth worth it. It's warm and perfectly grilled and they give you butter on the side -Potato pancake - not sure if it’s supposed to be soft but I was expecting it to be crispy -Khashi (beef tripe and leg soup) - I have tried this soup elsewhere before but this was a bit bland. However, I did appreciate that the waiter explained the dish to us and even recommended that most people add milk to the soup (which did make it better) -Shkmerull (cornish hen in creamy garlic sauce) - this was my husband's choice. It was okay, but probably not something I would have ordered -Lamb Lula Kebab (ground lamb wrapped in lavash bread) - this was both of our favorites of the night. They do not skimp on the lamb Overall, we enjoyed our meal. The servers were really patient. Most of the people dining there seemed like locals, so it was nice that they took the time to explain certain menu items with us. We will definitely be back to try some other dishes, and for that lamb kebab!

The restaurant is on a busy street but parking is available at the front and side. Inside, very aesthetically pleasing cultural decor. Friendly and welcoming table service. The food was ok and almost bland, but that's not a complaint, and only informs that the Georgian taste pallet must be very delicate. Salt pepper shakers at your table will come in handy. A good experience overall. Will be returning ro try more dishes.

The Hachapuri was tasty , the dumplings so so. Charged extra for a small side of hot sauce. Will be back to try to Kebab.

A very disappointing experience. Ordered food for take out, so can’t tell anything about service or atmosphere. This was the worst Georgian food in NY/NJ that I’ve tried in the last ~10 years. The egg plant pkhali was uneatable, bitter and burnt without any flavor of Georgian spices and walnut taste. The lamb shish-kebab or “shashlik” was dry and tough. Khachapuri (we got 3 different types) were very oily with heavy dough. The quality and taste of georgian cheese in the khachapuri was not bad, but the dough ruined it all. We also bought khinkali, but after the disappointment and questionable edibility, everything went to trash.

Can't recommend this spot enough for Georgian style food! Everything here is fantastic, from the khachapuri to the spreads to the desserts. Prices are very reasonable, especially considering that many of the dishes are for shared portions.
