Seating:4 Service:2 Food:3 Price: $$$ If you see a bad review, do trust it and don't try to take the risk like we did. We saw the 1 star reviews, but still decided to visit this place due to good experiences from years ago. The good: taste is link other Korean restaurant, pretty standard. And there is no weird smell on the pork. Seatings are comfortable with your own little sectioned stove/table. The bad: Overpriced, small portion. Price doubled, and potion is half of what it used to be. lack of customer service: we waited for a long time before someone seats us. They saw us but ignored us initially. When we seated and ordered our meal for two at $75, they said you have 2 more minutes to order anything extra. refill of side dish at extra cost-which is unheard of in Korean restaurants. They calculate 20%-25‰ tips - after tax on the check, this is a joke due to little to no service. This price makes gave me the illusion that I'm still in Vegas - overpriced.

I love ordering takeout from 92 Town Korean BBQ. The employees at the restaurant are very nice and cater to my needs. There are so many items to choose from, but my personal top favorite dishes I select from the takeout menu are the tofu vegetable soup, steamed dumplings, and a small order of kim chi which also includes a side of homemade banchan. On top of that, I order extra orders of white rice and 2 sesame sauces. I add that to my order because I love to divide the rice up into 3 different dishes as I consume all dishes as I sit and enjoy my delicious Korean food with added saltiness to the flavor. One dish with the soup, one dish with the steamed dumplings, and one dish with the kim chi. With all the food items and sauces combined, it has a combination of sweet, salty, and spicy flavors into one. I highly recommend checking this place out and ordering takeout.

This food was unbelievable. I drove 55 minutes and it was totally worth it! The sauces were so fresh and amazing. The meat was tender. Both rice cake appetizers were delicious. I’ll definitely be back!

Pretty descent place for Korean bbq. This place offers both bbq option and non bbq option. Minimum two orders when choosing the bbq option which was clearly outlined in the menu. The side dishes were not as elaborated as some other places we visited back in Toronto Canada but still not bad. We ordered combo B which came with pork belly, pork shoulder, beef brisket and steak. We also ordered some side veggies for grill as well (zucchini, potatoes, carrots and onions). The food was plenty for two and we also had ordered a spicy pork soup. Needless to say, we were super full after that. 😅 The service was a bit slow as we were here on a busy Saturday night, but all staff were very friendly and helpful. Given the amount of native Korean guests here, I think this place is well received by the local Korean community 👍 Overall I would recommend this place if you are in the mood for some good Korean bbq.

They have an absolutely ridiculous policy where however many people you come in with, you have to get that many servings/orders of food. It’s ridiculous because we came in with 10 people, so we had to get 10 servings of food. The problem with that is half of us were kids and there’s no way we would all be able to finish the food. I knew we would end up wasting that expensive food. We asked the server if she could place our order in the computer first, but she declined and said that we needed to order 10 items first. If we had ordered some food first, we could’ve seen what we liked and ordered more of it. Like, I just don’t understand why she couldn’t put a couple of items in the comp first. There’s also this thing where you have to press a button for the server. We pressed it so many times but the server took forever to get to our table, it wasn’t even crowded! Later, we asked for water from our server but she didn’t even give it to us. We ended up storming out because of the poor service they gave us.

Overall experience wasn’t too bad. However, the prices and serving sizes were not adequately balanced. The menu stated that there would be 2 servings of every meat in the combo, but it was barely 2 servings. Generally disappointed with this place. Will not come again :/

Amazing eating experience! Our party of 8 sat at a table with black curtains on each side. It was very nice; we felt reserved. There is a button to call service when needed to your table. Half ordered soups and half soup and grilled. The waiter was just a gentleman. It was just him, but our service was super amazing. My soup; you can tell the noodles were homemade, the clam and jumbo shrimp was cooked perfectly! One clam and one shrimp per bowl (noodles clam soup). Bite size octopus throughout. The soup (broth) was creamy, clean, crisp amd delicious! The kimchi side was bursting with strong flavor and spice. Most side kimchi doesn't have as much flavor as this one. The food was authentic and perfectly cooked. We all enjoyed our time and will be back. Clean table, glasses, grill and cutlery!! Great decor with a fountain to greet you in! 우리는 오늘 맛있게 잘 먹었어요. We ate well today!!!!

Best Korean BBQ in the Chicagoland area! Everything is so fresh & delicious. Servers & staff are friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. This is my third time here & always my go-to recommendation for KBBQ. We ordered the Combo B with 4 different meats, which came with several delicious side dishes including veggies, kimchi, and rice. Meat was fresh & tender, not greasy. Several different soju options (apple mango is the best 😋). Scallion pancake (requested without seafood) was deliciously crispy & filled with scallions. Pan fried dumplings’ filling was savory with perfectly airy pasty. I would definitely recommend coming out & trying as many things as you can! Also a fun experience cooking with friends. ☺️

Finally came here and were not disappointed. Service and food were great. Came in for a late lunch so it wasn’t crowded. Definitely will come back to try the bbq side of the menu. 100% would recommend based on this first experience

I was hungry for tofu seafood soup. I asked my husband to go to Chodang Tofu Restaurant as I like their soup. My husband searched and found this 92 Town to try instead. So I went a long. We ordered seafood tofu soup and king squid dish. The squid dish mentions to order two. So we thought we already ordered tofu soup, that would make it two dishes. We were surprised when we got the check. The squid dish ended up to be $57. That’s crazy! We saw on the menu $28. So I assume they made it double? They need to give a head up to their customers about the confusion for that dish. The soup was not bad. Their side dishes were so so. Not a lot of variety. But my toddler who is picky with eating solid food loves one of their side dishes - Mac and cheese/mayo. So I’m happy with that. The squid dish was good overall if you love onion. It’s onion overload for me. The sauce is good. We ordered mild spicy. We haven’t tried their BBQ because it’s on their name. Maybe that’s what they known for?

We had lunch here to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We loved the experience. Our hostess was very friendly and walked us through the process and even helped us grill our food in the right order. The food was absolutely delicious. We will definitely come back again.

Very nice place! The food we had was excellent! And even better that it is all made by hand. The dumplings were amazing and the noodles (and everything included with it) was very flavorful. I will definitely be coming back!

This was an AMAZING experience. I go to a TON of restaurants with my best friend and this was BY FAR the best so far. I love how the business is run, and how cozy the interior is. It truly feels a comfortable experience and I 100% recommend giving it a try. The food was high quality, and tasted AMAZING. I am not lying when I say that you need to try this spot. Will definitely be returning:)!

I went here with my brother for the first time, and we really enjoyed it! The establishment was clean and the place had a calming ambiance. Our server was very kind as well. I got the beef bulgogi and the my brother got the bibimbop. Both meats were marinated well, and the sides were really delicious! My favorites were the cucumber, radish, and macaroni sides. Thank you for preparing and cooking such tasty food!!

We had the cold noodles, the second combo and replaced the pork for spicy chicken. This was probably the best KBBQ I've ever had (and the best kimchi)! I came here to celebrate getting my first full-time job and I'm really glad I did. The atmosphere is super chill, and I normally don't eat a lot but my parents and I managed to finish almost all of it (the flavors were so addictive!). I've always been a big fan of Korean food and I'm so glad to find another place I can bring people too. Plus, Diane our server was super nice and really funny. Overall, great experience!! Will be coming again in the future.

This place was absolutely amazing! I am so excited we were introduced to it because we will definitely be going back and bring friends. The food was fantastic! The soju flight we had was delicious. Loved and enjoyed our experience. The service was extremely nice, kind, and personable. They were extremely helpful as well which we appreciated because we had never done Korean bbq before. All the food is homemade from scratch by the owners and they definitely know what they’re doing. Highly recommend this place!!!

I've come here a few times and love it every time. Our attendant/server is very personable and creatives a fun and friendly environment to enjoy delicious food. There are so many options for appetizers and meal options. Each item is delicious. Again, in a fun and comfortable setting. Highly recommend. Photo is of our empty table because we ate and enjoyed it all

Nice place for Korean BBQ, the seafood pancake is a nice starter. Combos are good, plenty of food. They suggest 1 meat order per person, but that is too much food unless you want leftovers or are very hungry. You get a bowl (small) of rice and bowl of seasoned cabbage (even smaller) with each meat dish. There’s only 5 small plates and very chintzy (yet again). There’s 1 server, that is great at up selling and moving you along. I think the place is very over priced, they do add 20% tip for parties of 5 and more. That said, will probably be back, but not often. Only when I can splurge.

The food is phenomenal. Everything tastes homemade because it is. The chef is a loving Korean mother who is passionate about her family and her recipes. This family owned establishment always serves quality meats. They have plenty of fresh vegetarian options as well. I’d highly recommend this place for their food and a personable experience!

This restaurant experience was fairly unique. In summary can be described as lots of rules and no mercy. Dining here was truly an exercise in comprehending the rules and numbers before ordering and tasting the food. Although not written in the menu nor signage, the restaurant obligates each 1x diner / guest at the table to fulfill orders of 1x rice + 1x salad + 1x dip sauce regardless of each individual's dietary preference. This requirement may be fulfilled partly or completely by the rice / salad / sauce that comes as part of an entree soup or BBQ combo ordered by each guest. However, if the entree combo comes with only rice and not salad, then that particular guest still has to fulfill their obligation for the salad and dipping sauce via additional charge. Then, regardless of the number of guests seated at the table, each table receives 5x plates of banchan + 2x plates of banchan refills complimentary (7 plates total). Table of 2 gets the same allowance as table of 6. Additional banchan refills needed for a large party were charged a la carte. Being charged for banchan was a first time experience for myself at a Korean restaurant in North America (East coast, Midwest, West coast, and Canada). After placing our order and receiving our food, we appreciated that the meats in the BBQ combos were seasoned evenly. The beef was prime cut per restaurant and the galbi (beef ribs) were bone in. The stone bowl soups were served hot. Service gratuity is 20% on your total bill. Due to 1 wait staff serving about 4 tables, it was difficult getting refills on water.

Wonderful experience to have with a friend(s), or partner. This my first time trying Korean BBG. My friend and I were excited for this experience but nervous making sure everything was cooked right. The server was very kind and helpful and would help us with any questions/made sure everything was going smoothly. 10/10 would come back for a date with a partner. The food was delicious too!

NOT what it used to before covid It was our go to Korea BBQ restaurant before covid while the service was always slow but at least their food was awesome and kimchi was homemade and best we ever had....But that is no longer the case! During and now after covid, They probably are now three person restaurant. I assume the dad is in the kitchen, the mom cashier and phone and the daughter host and server We dined one during covid once and once after...OMG! Upon seated the server told us all entries are $1.00 more well we get it save money no new menu while everything is up so we understand but the funny thing is, after we r seated, another table is seated next table, the same server told that group all entries are now $4 more LOL All meat are much less while price gone up. No more refill small plate, we were charged for everything! Yes even got charged for refilling small plate!!! Service was SLOW since now only the daughter wait on ALL tables. She seated us, took our order, gave us food...So total of three times. We had to serve ourselves and flag her down a few time to get tea, water and refills lol Also had to flag her down to get check and box Once bill came, 20% added but remember we served ourselves and she came waited us three time lol We all understand during covid19, all restaurant suffered but come on....No more covid now....!

The food is okay, nothing extraordinary. The service is really slow since there's only one server. The waitress was not friendly either. You can't share food. If there are 4 people, you have to get 4 dishes. No desserts and no coffee. There's not a lot of beef options, either .It's not a good place to go if you want a friendly atmosphere. I will not be going back again.

Stellar. Absolutely stellar. We went on a quiet Sunday night and it was perfect. Not too busy and the service was wonderful. Our waitress prepped our meats and let us know they would come if we rang the bell. It was actually really nice to enjoy our dinner and not have a waiter continuously interrupt mid conversation. If we needed her, we rang. Food was delicious. We ordered the combo B for two people and it was PLENTY to fill us up. Highly recommend this if you are looking for a great assortment of beef and pork. The sides that came with the meal complimented everything beautifully. I would recommend ordering a side of lettuce to wrap your meats and sides together. On a funny note, I somehow dropped my credit card INTO the grease trap in the middle of our table. Our waitress was kind enough to fish it out. She had to take the grill apart and dig around in there. She is a gem and went above and beyond for us. 10/10 recommend 92 Town as a place for delicious and authentic Korean BBQ with wonderful service. If you have never had Korean BBQ, THIS is the place to try it out for the first time. The staff there will help and inform you. My parents will be in town next week, and I already cannot wait to bring them here for their special anniversary celebration. Thank you 92 Town, can't wait to come back!!!

Delicious food, friendly staff, always a lot of yummy banchan with the meal. We live a couple of hours away but like it so much we make a point of stopping if we are anywhere near Chicago.

Will not come to this store again. Over price,no service, wait long time to get our food. Stir-fried king squid for $53.99 is full of onions. They automatically charged us a 20% tip after tax which was ridiculous! (Maybe that's why they didn't serve us, they already took a tip)
