Ignore all the haters!! For $35 this is an amazing deal for everything they offer. It has all kinds of sliced meats for hotpot (including wagyu beef included), fish balls, mushrooms, veggies, sushi, cooked foods, noodles! They even have a big station dedicated to making your own custom sauces. Service was great, the meal was satisfying. I would definitely come back.

This buffet is great value. $30 for lunch and $43 for dinner. It offers a great selection and high quality for the price. In particular, enjoyed the sushi, korean wings, select salmon, and bulgogi . Will be coming again

First price experience, second food is not fresh. It smells and tastes not fresh. Third service is not good. Four, we can eat only less than an hour when we first seat at 5:49pm and rush us and give us a check bill at 6:42pm while we still eat and didn't get dessert. It is a buffet on Saturday night, August 12, 2023. Sorry, no more business from us, and no recommends to friends and family's. We spend total $201.20 plus we have them $27 tip in cash.

All you can eat lunch for $27 and it includes meats!! This place is amazing and has all the essential hot pot food items and sauces. They also have a cooked food bar which has delicious items too if you have the room for it! The only thing I wish was better was the ice cream machine. It’s not actually ice cream but rather yogurt and it was a little sour which we all thought was a bit off but was assured it was normal

It was not worth the money or the hype. We went for a weeknight dinner and as you can see from the photos, the “wagyu” was not fresh and had black edges. Their major cooked seafood dish was a mixed batch of mussels, crab legs, potatoes and crayfish that had no taste. Overall the store had 3 big sections for food, sushi, hot food, and raw ingredients for hotpot. There is no option for you to skip on the hotpot and the hotpot was just very, very mediocre. They did not hire any professional sushi chef and their sushi pieces were rolled into Swiss rolls with mostly rice barely any ingredients. No sashimi served only nigiris. I agree with most comments about their dessert, the best dessert would probably be the weird flavor macaroons they got from Costco. Oh and that soft serve is not ice cream, it’s frozen yogurt. I suggest you play a game with penalties prior to coming here and have the person who lost eat a whole yogurt, it will be fun. Maybe the place was better prior to them incorporating the hot pot, but for now it’s not worth going back again. There’s just too many things going on and none of them excel in their category.

This is mostly an AYCE hotpot place with sushi and a small variety of dishes to choose from the hot bar. I thought the dishes were decent for a buffet and had some good choices (e.g. deep-fried soft shell crab, sautéed crab on sauce, LA Kalbi, etc). Their sushi selection was also big on variety, but I think the rolls were lacking a little in both taste and execution. Several of my rolls fell apart and everything fell out to the point where I had to eat each filling separately. I also felt like several of them tasted similar without much distinction in palates between them. For the hotpot, I liked how there was a good selection of toppings to bring back to your table ranging from veggies, to seafood, to meats, to noodles, to fish balls, etc. One thing I wasn't too fond of was their sauces. They have a lot of unique housemade sauces, but I have my own particular hotpot sauce recipe and they were missing in some of those base sauces that I was looking for. Still, overall it's good experience, especially if you can manage the long wait time, which could last anywhere from 40 minutes to an hour.

Used to be a sushi all you can eat restaurant now they added hotpot too. It’s nice concept and combo. We designed to give it a try, kind of disappointed over all, sushi now mostly roll and sushi now. No more sashimi, no salmon no yellow tails. Only the cheap fish sushi , the crabs looks good. But no fresh. The meat so mush, the hotpot meats is the low quality meats. I am very chewy and dry.

You don't need to read my review to know it's one of the best buffets on Long Island. Mizumi has a buffet section, very large sushi section and a nice assortment of items for the at table hot pots. They somehow manage to do a really good job at all three while keeping it stocked, clean and not crowded. We came for the great sushi but found out about the hotpot (which both could individually warrant the price). We went on a weeknight and had a short wait but nothing too bad. It was $35 per person and while high, is well worth the money (especially since nearby buffet's charge $20+ for 1/10 of what this place offers). Well worth the drive and money.

This was my 3rd time eating here and let me tell you, everything was absolutely delicious! 😋 However, I must say that I was slightly disappointed with the service today. Can you believe it? I had only been enjoying my meal for a mere 45 minutes when they unexpectedly brought out the bills! This has never happened before, and they were checking if we put the card out and ready to pay which is not okay. But still I’ll go back for sure because some staffs are nice and food is good

Great all-you-can-eat place!! They have a nice selection of sushi and rolls, hot foods and a lot of variety to choose from for hot pot. Fresh ingredients. I pretty much enjoyed everything. Make sure to bring your appetite!

The buffet is limited to mostly hot pot ingredients and hand roll sushi. Very few hot dishes. You pick your fresh ingredients and cook them in your personal pot. And while you wait for your food to be cook, get some cooked food, so you can maximize the 1 and half hour limit. Overall experience is good, the sushi is not bad. Definately get your stomach filled. I don't recommend the frozen yogurt, too sour for my liking.

90 minutes time limit, and they are very strict to make sure you leave on time! Meanwhile they don't bring out enough food as you can see the trays are empty. No next time for me!

I thought I was living a good life, but after experiencing Mizumi, I am living a great life. It was our first time having shabu-shabu, and our servers recommended we get the Miso broth, as most Koreans tend to like it (we very much did). Not only was the shabu-shabu amazing and interactive, but the sushi buffet did not disappoint at all -- it was incredible I ate so much. The dessert and fruit were also all delicious. I've never been to a buffet that hits all the marks, but Mizumi was the best ever, my family and I were absolutely floored. The 90 minute limit didn't even bother us as we got out just in time!

Seated in 2 mins. Food was REALLY good. Took a while to get the bill (kinda had to go to the front twice) and never got offered another drink, but it also seemed like a crazy busy hour to go. Primarily reviewing as I might visit again next time I visit LI. Small issues aside, super good.

I've been to this location before they incorporated the hot pot options. Before there were more hot food options but now with all the hot pot ingredients there's much less options if you weren't feeling hotpot. The hot pot meats were very frozen and couldn't break free with the plastic tongs. The hot foods they had there were good as always. And the sushi has variety and were tasty as well! Dessert options are super limited because of the sauce station being incorporated for hotpot. And frozen yogurt is dispensed in the machine which was pretty good. Many reviews complained about being rushed but we didn't get that at all. But DO note they close midday around 3pm for staff to take a break and to clean and reset.

This buffet is above average, as compared to most others in the area. I would recommend getting a broth, also known as a Shabu Shabu, to dip raw meats and seafood in. In particular, the fish, once cooked in the broth, was quite lovely. Additionally, the chicken wings were surprisingly good. They aren't the best wings I have had, but the quality inside of a buffet, usually not maintained was, in fact, (mostly) maintained within all of the menu, except for the dessert. The dessert, however, is quite limited. The menu includes cake(vanilla, chocolate, carrot, red velvet), other baked goods(limited stock, low quality), and jello. Also, the "ice cream" is not in fact ice cream, but in actuality, it is frozen yogurt that tastes like it was from the supermarket, and those in charge just froze the mixture. There are only two flavors as well, strawberry, and plain yogurt/vanilla.

I’ve been to this place over 5 times. Usually for family gatherings. I’m so surprised by the 3.5 star review. This place is amazing. Price is decent for all the options you have. Decor is beautifully tasted. Sushi options are great ! You definitely get your moneys worth and more. It’s not your typical asian buffet. Would recommend this place to anyone !

It was my first time and I loved it. Great service, no dirty table in sight, loved the sushi, oysters, clams, and all the other options of food they have. The desserts were so good! The red velvet macadamia cookies and the strawberry yogurt were so delicious. I had a wonderful time and will return soon. Dinner time $44 Soda $3.75

Pretty good food, sushi and hot options. Drinks are insanely priced, you on have 1.5 hours. The wagyu beef is th way to go, I have the sweet daishi hotpot. My family and I enjoyed this spot and it was reasonably priced

We were rushed to order the broth for the hotpot the minute we sat down, three waiters came within one minute to rush us to order. One waiter repeated said to us “you have 90min to eat here and your time starts already”. The whole time we were eating, no one came to check or refilled our soup or our drinks. They just want you to eat and leave as quickly as possible. The food is much worse now since I was last here a few years ago. The soup broth tasted worse than store bought canned broth. The sauces for the hotpot all tasted terrible. There are not enough dessert options, all taste like Costco bought cakes cut into smaller pieces. If I knew this restaurant had changed since before, I would not have come here. Regrets spending $130 USD here for the terrible food the service

Great sushi place. Quite an assortment of sushi and sushi-mi. They also have the Hot Pot at each table. It is all self-serve so the wait staff were OK. Super fresh, great assortment. At the risk of sounding racist, I was there at lunch time and the place was packed with mostly middle-aged Asian folks ( I am past middle-age...). I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone that likes sushi and Asian food! I will go back there the next time I am in the area.

Though I do miss the pre Covid days where they had lychee sangria (no more, sadly!) it’s still a lovely place to grab all you can eat sushi and hotpot. Great combo if you’re into that. Everything is FRESH! No spoiled/wilted/limp food to be found, all freshly and beautifully made in a very clean environment. Workers are constantly cleaning, and wiping down surfaces, it makes my mind worry less. Great place to go for all you can eat! Sadly didn’t take any pictures, too busy eating!

I always come to Mizumi with my family. Lunch hours is $30.00 per person and $40.00 for dinner. They used to have hotpot which I loved and why I would always go but after getting rid of it, they added back the old soups and plates they had which are still good but I don’t plan on going so frequently now, the food is still delicious. It’s a beautiful environment. The waiters and waitresses are all so nice and caring and extremely attentive.

This place was jam packed and I can see why. Their sushi rolls, sushi, and sashimi were fantastic. The cooked food was great as well. They said a 15 minute wait and it really was. The service was quick and friendly, and the food was constantly being put out as there was such a large crowd. We will definitely be repeat customers.

This was my first experience dining out during the pandemic, and we chose Mizumi because we were in the neighborhood, and they looked, from the road, like their dine-out setup was fairly established. And it was: we were seated right away, at a table for two adjoining the parking lot, which was fine with me. Other diners sat a tables surrounded by plastic curtains, like shower curtains, or at tables set a short distance away. I've never had such a nice time dining in a parking lot! Servers were masks, and were extremely courteous and professional. We had the bento box buffet for two, which was quite a lot of food for $45, and two glasses of the house wine. Everything was lovely, and we would definitely go again. Support this place!

Food is cold, and flavorless! Sushi is just rice, no fish. And bad service. Crawfish is dry and overcooked. Would rather spend my $$ elsewhere.

All I can say is thank you to Andrew and his staff at Mizumi. We have gone to Mizumi for years and always enjoyed the buffet. We were to cater a family celebration, Mizumi came to mind. Andrew helped with the menu and made sure we had everything we needed down to the chopsticks! The food was a big success. Now, not only does Mizumi have a great buffet, they also cater an outstanding party.

I would give this place a five star if I didn't had to share a table. They put two parties of two to seat in a 4 person table, so it was a bit weird. But other than that, everything was fine. We came here without a reservation and we only had to wait about 5 minutes. Lots of selection and food is pretty good.

  • 5/5 Shalimara B. 5 years ago on Google
Their food taste high end and is relatively affordable considering. All-U-Can-Eat for 1.5 hours lunch or dinner. Highly recommend it to gluttonous sushi lovers. Although this place also has veggie sushi options, udon, fried food, and dessert for those who do not like raw fish. Their crabs are amazing.

We had the best time here! It was so relaxing to sit outside in the beautiful relaxing environment they created, you completely forget that you are just steps from Northern Blvd!!!!! The prices are super reasonable considering the circumstances and the service was great. I am so happy we gave this place a shot. Its the best Covid dining experience we have had so far.

Horrible. I had a $75 dish for 2 seafood. It was flavorless and meatless. Partially all shells. They claimed there was olive oil in the bottom, that was more like water waste from the bottom of the boil in the pot. The person sharing this dish with me couldn't eat it. It wasn't with it. And they wanted to serve drinks in a plastic bag, really? I said no way. We paid but never again

The Lobster was great but we ordered 3 sushi rolls as well and they weren’t fresh. The waiter then told us that other people had the same thing and didn’t have any issues. They still charged us for the rolls even though it wasn’t edible. Covid changed them.

FOOD PORTIONS SMALL FOR PRICE. But at greater variety if that's what you're interested in. Nice place during COVID, plenty of outdoor seating, not too crowded. Seating 4-6 per tent. However, portions are so small that it probably won't divide well with groups.

They took the hotpot out but the price didn’t change. The food is really mid at best, the seafood isn’t fresh at all. The dessert options were far less than the ones promoted on their website. Many menu items can’t even be found in restaurant. Definitely last time going. This place has really gone downhill.
