Took my son in for his first haircut today. Before making the appointment, i had asked if they would donate the hair and they only responded with "it needs to be at least 10 inches long." I told them it was about 14 inches long and proceeded to make the appointment. They never clarified that they would not make the donation, they would only cut his hair and i was responsible for making the donation - they told me this only when my son had already picked his video and was ready to get onto the chair. Since i had already promised my son that i would get his hair cut today, i did not want to disappoint him so i proceeded with the appointment. He got the worst haircut in the history of haircuts. The lady kept blaming his hair, which i bought until I got home and took a closer look. The finishing is AWFUL. His sideburns are uneven and the line at the back of his head is almost 25deg slope. Shoddy job. Terrible salon. Reply to your comment below - you did not mention the bit about me having to mail the hair myself until my son was almost in the chair, as mentioned above. He had been looking forward to his first haircut for a while so i could not break his little heart and go looking for a different salon at that point. When i mentioned to you the first time i spoke to you over the phone, even before you could find me a spot "i don't want to book an appointment if you don't donate the hair." Why didn't you correct me then? You misled me intentionally. I did not notice the shoddy job until I got home and took a closer look. Apparently my husband did but he didn't say anything until we got into the car at which point he said "i could have given him a better cut." This being my first experience getting my child's hair cut, i did not know what to look for.

We went here for my niece's first haircut. At 3 and a half, she had a lot of hair and wasn't sure if she was ready. From start to finish, Miss Linda was amazing with my niece. So attentive, caring, and made sure Coco, my niece was happy, engaged and it was a positive experience. Miss Linda allowed Coco to play with her fidget spinner and then at the end, asked her if she'd like a princess braid and special color in it, which she did! :) The young lady at the front desk was also very kind and made sure we had the keepsake locks of hair. Great salon for kids!

Wasn’t very pleased with the experience both times - first when my daughter was 12mo and then when she was 15mo. My LO hates for her hair to be touched so I did expect the experience to be challenging. But given that this place specialized in little ones, I was hoping for some help soothing her - but the stylist didn’t prepare her, engage her or distract her. I saw some others were offered toys and bubbles, we didn’t see those either. My LO also got a lil bruise behind her ear from the scissors. May be she was too young for this place. EDIT : The reply below must be for someone else - the dad wasn’t there - I went to the salon by myself with my LO and was told that it’s safer to leave her in the seat and not hold her on my lap (which makes sense). I wasn’t hoping for magic. Just hoping that they would offer toys (like some other stylists there did)

Ms. Teresa was our toddlers stylist. This was our daughters first haircut. She is autistic and nonverbal so we really weren’t sure how it was going to go. Ms. Teresa did such an amazing job communicating with us, engaging with our daughter and of course providing an amazing and adorable haircut for our toddler! We could not have been happier with the service we received!

I brought my 7 year old in to get her ears pierced… Excellent service, very knowledgeable, comparable prices, easy scheduling and overall a great experience!

Our hair stylist was great with my 2 and a half year old. This was her first professional cut and she had so much fun. We will definitely recommend and be back for future visits!

We came in with our daughter for her 1st haircut, and I really enjoyed the experience. My daughter seemed to enjoy it too. The experience did feel a bit rushed, but after reading the owners comments on previous reviews, I understand why. Here are things we received during our visit: - stylist offered a strand of hair to take home with a certificate (as it was our 1st haircut) - stylist offered a cartoon for the LO - stylist cut LO's hair and offered: to braid it, spray a fragrance mist, use a glitter spray, color with washable color - stylist asked us if it's OK to use a blow dryer - stylist was friendly, kind, fast and gentle I'm not a huge fan of the name of the place (would never call my LO a brat), but I can still see us visiting again for our next haircut!

10+ years our kids have gone here. Now we have to drive 20 mins from Kirkland…. But it is worth it. Despite being 12 and 14, they still love watching Tom and Jerry and having their hair done here. It makes it super easy for me as well since the haircut details are on file so I don’t need to remember what they got last time 👍😇 PS. Since this review I also discovered the Mexican place next door. While you wait, grab their breakfast dish. It is amazing - Chilaquiles (spicy). Sorry for the shameless plug but this is my reward for driving to Redmond now 😉

I recently took my 3 year old daughter to Linda for a haircut and was blown away by the results. Linda is an incredibly gifted stylist who was able to improvise and create a look that matched my daughter’s hair texture perfectly. I had requested a Princess Diana haircut for my daughter, and Linda was able to make it work beautifully. The end result was an absolutely stunning haircut that my daughter loves. My 14.5 month old had his first hair cut today here! We had Miss Linda and she did the best job!! She not only was great with him (and being so young and curious about the buzzers) but she also gave such an adorable cut! Definitely worth the drive from White Center!

Really great experience!! Everyone was very welcoming my son was calm and wasn't upset about getting his hair cut which is rare Teresa was FANTASTIC with him and the receptionist was also AMAZING she made him feel comfortable as soon as we walked through the door we definitely will be back!!

Ms Linda did a great job with haircut for our 2 year old who is not very comfortable with haircuts. We also needed new earrings to be put in for our daughter and the staff accommodated the request during the haircut visit.

My daughter's first time going was last weekend and we loved Shelly! My sister brings my niece to your store so we gave it a try and will definitely be back!
