Had an amazing one night stay here. Stayed in cabin #1. Very clean, comfortable, beautiful land, and exceptionally friendly staff. Will definitely reccomend, and will stay here again. The view of Mt. Hood coming up was breathtaking.

The rooms were gorgeous, comfortable, clean and our cabin had all we needed to cook our own meals. We had rented the Homestead cabin but that was under construction when we got there so they upgraded us to the larger Cabin 5, which was huge. We also liked the location as it was at the end of the cabin section. Took me a bit to find the remote to turn off the fans which were canceling out the warmth of the fireplace. For future guests, it's hanging on the wall in the hallway across from the bathroom. The only reason I docked service a star was because there was no one in the office to check us in. It was 6pm and the office manager was helping out in the restaurant which was short staffed. There was a bell to ring for service, which we did...4 times as we watched people pass by the saloon doorway between the office and the restaurant. Finally after a good 20mins of waiting we went in to the restaurant. Normally I wouldn't be grouchy about something like this but we were exhausted from hiking and a sign that said come to the restaurant would have been better than a bell that was not heard or responded to. Service in the restaurant was good and everyone was super friendly.

Stayed Saturday night after hiking Cooper Spur. The front desk person was helpful, personable, and very kind about us showing up around 6 p.m. to check-in. Dinner and breakfast in the Crooked Tree Tavern were both delicious! They did appear to be a bit understaffed despite it being slow. The walking trail was a nice way to stretch our sore legs the next morning and we even saw a wild rabbit! Looking forward to coming back again!

9 out of 10. clean rooms, good food, comfy beds. There's not much more I could ask for. A hot tub would make this place a 10 out of 10.

Wonderful resort hidden on top of a mountain. Not a lot of people may even know about it but it's a heaven for the ones who do. Amazing gourmet food and helpful staff.

it's a solid 3 star motel, like a super 8 but in the woods. not worth $250/night. if you need to be in this remote area for some reason it's the only lodging around. not sure who's paying premium prices for this so-so motel.

We had a great experience there. The front desk and tavern staff were all so nice and helpful. The hot tub was godsend after skiing. The charming room was spacious with comfy beds. I was concerned about tv noise from the next room, but after dinner it was super quiet. We highly recommend Cooper Spur and its tavern Crooked Tree.
