Nice place to stop by and eat some comfort food, ordered their cod and it was good, mixed in with potatoes served with rice. Ample parking for 4 vehicles and one handicap. Easy to miss as the location is located in a busy road but you will be glad you stopped by.

Ordered the Feijoada. So flavorful and the meat was so soft it melted in my mouth. This meal was so satisfying. Coffee was amazing. Overall, real authentic Brazilian food at a great price. Can’t wait to go back.

Really great for the first time. Do find parking somewhere in the neighborhood. The food was great! The tofu scramble was good but it's not a scramble it was cubes but good nonetheless! And then the sandwich was good as well.

A sunny friendly place, perfect for breakfast. Many dishes are accompanied with fruits, baguette and/or black beans. The portions are just right and the coffee good. Parking is limited and, during busy times, you might as well plan to park on a nearby side street.

Very cute setting but on the street. Food is fresh and delicious. Had the avocado and poached egg dish. Coffee was dark and strong and great.

Great experience! Authentic Brazilian food -we are from Brazil, with typical plates as feijoada, muqueca and Prato feito.

Revisited after 5 years and still like it! (The waiting time estimate can be much better…it says 75~90 mins but the table is ready in 20 mins😂

This place is a great one for brunch! It will be better to get into the waitlist in advance by about one hour. We ordered a açaí bowl, omelette and a beef. They have a great amount of serve.

Cozy, quaint, and personal. The restaurant was very clean, and the service was attentive. I was not super hungry the day we went, but I enjoyed a fresh, warm, delicious muffin and some wonderful juice. My friend had what appeared to be a personalized breakfast they make him as a regular. It was a huge portion and looked amazing. Next time, I will be sure to be hungry and try more stuff.

This review is mainly for vegetarians. As being one myself, there is a reluctance towards brazilian cuisine as I have mostly related it to steak and majorly non-veg options. But this place changed my view. This is a cute cafe with chill vibes, friendly servers and most importantly enough options for vegetarians. There are some dishes where you can even replace eggs with tofu. All entrees were good, specifically the Greek scramble being our favorite. Plantains were ok, little on the oily side. If you like spicy, ask for their hot sauce. Beware, it is very spicy!!!!

Think I've been here 6 or 7 times in the last couple of years and every time I've received friendly and timely service along with delicious food! Usually I'm on my own, which as an older woman can lead to not having a great service experience, but certainly here I am treated very well! Thank you for making me always feel welcome and seen and providing yummy breakfasts! Sorry for the photo of a partially eaten crab omelette with Hollandaise! Couldn't wait!

Love this place. 3.9 on service because I have expectations. Someday they will be met again by the staff of ANY restaurant. But I digress. I get up early, pick up my girlfriend and head to one of the state parks to enjoy the ocean early on a weekend morning. Like 730 or 8am. Once we've had our fill of sand and fog, we head to Cafe Brasil for breakfast. We eat the breakfast. It is good. The coffee is good. The vibe is good. It smells good. So try it out and expect good service!

Glad we finally tried this place after driving by for years. Happy to have tried it. We got plantains, crab Benedict, Mexican scramble and a couple drinks. In the end, the food was alright. All of things were okay, but nothing spectacular.

I’ve been wanting to try this place for so long! it was so delicious and big portions in my opinion! The eggs Benedict was perfectly made, and the hollandaise sauce was creamy! The portobello was also seasoned so well and paired nice with everything else on the plate! We also ordered the smoothies. i got the maracuyá and he got the cacau shake! both delicious and refreshing

I graduated UCSC 23 years ago, and the quality of eats at Cafe Brasil has NEVER DROPPED. My regular to this day is the Brasiliero omelette with creamed chicken and creamed corn plus added green chiles. Always delicious! My husband went for the crab benedict. And of course, they were accompanied by strong cups of Pilão coffee! I always think I'll refrain from eating the baguette too...but I can never resist.

Every time I visit Santa Cruz this is the spot that I make sure to grab a meal at. The food here is divine. Some of the best food you'll ever have. Their shakes and juices I especially love. It's one of the few places I can just pick a random dish knowing it will be great. The staff here are super friendly and are great to chat with.

I read about this place a long time ago and I had the opportunity to go for breakfast. It was a cozy little place and it was pretty quiet on the morning we went. The service was great. There were lots of warm, inviting faces. If you like strong coffee, you'll like how they make it. I had poached eggs and avocado on a baguette with tomatoes and mozzarella. It was fresh but it was bland, unfortunately. I added some Brazilian salsa. Although, it was heavy on the onions I was underwhelmed. The potatoes were good. Not dry and a good amount of seasoning. The pancakes were good. They were pretty moist with a sweet maple syrup. All in all, it was just ok. I thought about asking what they are known for and/or what they recommend but i didn't. I'd try it again before I make a final decision but until then it was just so so.

Food was really good and despite the long 2hr yelp waitlist estimate, we were able to get seated in less than 30min (they have lots of seating for groups of 2). I haven’t had very much Brazilian food other than BBQ before, so trying some other types of dishes was a great experience with unique flavours. I also recommend the Cacao Smoothie - it was super refreshing.

Such a cute place to visit with delicious food! They have a full menu for breakfast and lunch which is fantastic! Truly enjoyed my time. Be sure to put your name on the wait list right when you get there.

Vegetarian, here...LOVE this place! An embarrassingly rich veggie/vegan menu. Food is always fresh and gorgeous. Check out the beautiful photos on Maps...they don't do the food justice! Brasil could be a stand alone juice bar too - amazing fresh diverse fruits always prepared upscale elegantly. Also Staff are warm and serve with a unique professional flair. We go here several times a month and it's always consistently awesome. Sassy, exceptional, unique, Cafe Brasil is a must-stop for visitors and locals alike!

We ordered Beef Stroganoff and A Cavalo. Both were delicious! We also ordered passion fruit juice and it was refreshing with right amount of sweetness. I left my water bottle on the table and Ava(hope I got it right!) went out of her way to find us and returned the bottle. It’s extremely kind of her and I’m very appreciative!

Cute little cafe in Santa Cruz! Absolutely loving the style of the venue. We got lucky with a parking spot behind the restaurant but there's only about 4 spots and a tight squeeze so I recommend parking a little further out and walking. They have both dining and take out which we saw many people do especially for their acai bowls, which are to die for! It was so delicious. We dined in and also had the Avocado a Cavalo, Gallo Pinto, and Veggie Cocota. Good and filling dishes.

Fantastic place. Very generous and delicious portions. The açai bowl was super delicious and very authentic. The juices made me feel that I am in Rio again. The service was super friendly. We will definitely come back to eat here again.

Great option for Brazilian food, which is hard to find in the Bay Area. Their feijoada is always a winner as it comes with salad, farofa, and greens. I tried their breakfast menu which is served all day and the cocota was very nice - good flavor on the sauce for the eggs with the sautéed mushrooms. I just wish the spinach was also sautéed (it was raw, just wilted under the heat of the sauce). Also enjoy their fresh juices and smoothies, haven’t tried their açaí but many people were ordering it. You can join the Yelp waitlist ahead of time, which is helpful if there is a wait during peak hours. Service is friendly if not the fastest but food comes out quickly. Limited parking in their lot, otherwise free street parking in the area.
