Very good. Fresh ingredients. Nice atmosphere. Definitely better than their competitors. Kinda on the expensive side though.. but you get what you pay for.

It was our first time there, people were very friendly. They explained how everything worked (as far as how to build what you want) and we picked out what we wanted...for the most part the food was okay and the Tea was delicious.. we plan to go back one more time and order something different to see if it's any better....that being said, My Mother and Brother liked it, I was the one that didn't really care for it.. Give it a try and see what you think, you just might like it!

Very nice clean environment the people are so welcoming and so nice!! Our first time eating here The food is fresh and soo good I had the 2 taco combo i chose shrimp with chips and salsa it was all delicious and very good prices my husband loved his burrito combo made to his liking we will definitely be back

Sorry to say I'm one of the few people that is not a huge fan of Mexican food but it was fresh and clean in there and I just had a soft taco. If you like Mexican food I would think it would be a good place to go

It is sad that after going to Salsarita's for 15+ years that I would have to leave this restaurant 1 star. Not all Salsarita's. Just this one in Hickory, NC 28601. Wouldn't be surprised to see someone call the Better Business Bureau and see this place finally get shut down. A few months ago (April 2nd) the hot water heater to the restaurant shut down and they kept the place open for 2 weeks, which is illegal. Dishes don't get clean in cold water. Also, I was told multiple people RIGHT NOW (7/23/22) have worked this week with Covid and that an employee that has been hacking up a lung for at least a week finally went and got tested and got positive results for covid. That doesn't stop them from wrapping people's burritos though. Also, the tipping system for employees is broken, while some get 200 dollars a paycheck, some recieve 0. Based on "how you work". If they don't have sanitizer to put in the dishwater, they use BLEACH water for the last step of the washing process without rinsing them off again. This went on for a whole month, bare minimum. I could go on and on. Basically, save your money and just go eat somewhere else. Trust me, this place is not worth it.

The customer service has always been excellent here but today was outstanding. Joseph has a very outgoing personality and is very customer oriented. Even after he filled our order he later came out on the dining room floor and asked if everything was good and if we needed anything, he also did this with every customer in the dining room. All in all this was by far the best experience we have had in any salsaritas. Probably the best shrimp I've had that I didn't cook myself!

This is great food fast. We usually come with a large group and get through the line very quickly because they are well staffed. My favorite is the nachos. Their queso is great!

Food was ok. Did an app pickup. Everything was cold and the chips were a bit stale. Even though I had my ID I had to trek back out to the car to show the app which shows my name which my id has. Weird choice I guess. Not very friendly staff. It was decent just didn’t taste fresh or hot.

We have had burritos here a number of times and they are always delicious. Fresh ingredients and huge portions. We have to split it between the two of us. Everyone is always nice and the app is easy to use. They also have outdoor seating.

Wonderful staff! Food was so so good. I love coming here. Gets better everyday.

We used Salasrita's Fresh Mexican Grill to cater a work event for about 30 people. Food was delivered on time, it was fresh, hot and delicious! Marsha Gniadak the Catering Manager was amazing to work with! I would highly recommend them for your catering needs.

I love this place and everything about it! The food is excellent and fresh and the customer service has always been great and today was no exception! Arson was working hard and extremely friendly, so much so that I asked who the manager was! His name is Joseph and he was extremely friendly as well, he even came around to all the tables to see if we needed anything! I highly recommend this place!!!

Surprisingly good food for a franchise. Even better than some other Mexican places around here. Would recommend.

I waited 30 minutes on one burrito that was called in 30 minutes before I even got there. The crew at night isn't as good as the day shift as they mostly play and talk instead of work, and then the 2 yound ladies who were just yapping decided to talk within earshot about me and another customer that came in after me, so I guess that would explain why it took them an hour to get one burrito ready but I will not be back to this location after the way I was treated here today

This review is for the catering side of the restaurant opposed to the restaurant itself. I order meals for a corporation. On May 22, I placed a catering ordering for May 23rd, mind you this does not have to placed 24 hours in advance (lesson learned) but I like to be ahead of the game. I placed the catering order for 15 people for a total of $319.37. The morning of May 23rd at approx 8:30 am, I called to cancel the order because the meeting was cancelled. I had to leave the message on voicemail since the restaurant was not open yet, trying to give ample notice. The caterer I think Marsha is her name, called me around 10:30 to say they could cancel my order but because they had prepared my food (that was to be delivered at 4:30PM on the 23rd) the night before, there would be a 50% cancellation fee. Seems a little ridiculous that food would be prepared the night before and there is a cancellaion fee. I asked her if they always prepare the meat the night before because that is just poor quality. She informed me after I raised the question, that it was cold items only that were prepared in to go containers so that is why I would have to pay a 50% cancellation fee. The cold containers consisted of two containers of salsa, one container of sour cream, one container of shredded cheese and one container of quacamole. So the caterer wanted to charge me $159.69 for those items that could have easily been given to someone else or served on the bar that day. This is just greed and bad business. While I will always recommend the restaurant, beware of the caterer.

The employees were so nice yesterday (7/11) . Just friendly as could be with bug smiles. I looove it. It's clean and kid friendly too!

I wanted to praise some of the staff at Salsarita’s Hickory location. We are regular customers of this location, especially when our granddaughters are with us. Our granddaughters love it because they are made to feel special when we arrive at Salsarita’s on our weekly date nights with them. They do not want to go anywhere else and always ask to go to Salsarita’s. We are always greeted kindly whenever we visit this location, but Susan has went above and beyond as she has loved on our granddaughters. Once she gave them an extra chocolate chip cookie with their meals and that pretty much sealed the deal in their minds. Ha! But, Susan will engage with our granddaughters and they are happy to see here and will greet her with a hug. I also wanted to give a shout out to Fran and Andrea as one or both of them usually take care of our orders on a regular basis. They are kind and greet us with a smile and kindly help us get our order together as we move down the line. On our last visit, when we were eating, my wife and I both noticed at different times Yoabdriel as he went about his work. He was proactive and constantly scanning for things that needed to be completed. As we watched him, he was very thorough in his work and he paid attention to his surroundings which is a breath of fresh air, especially today when everyone seems to walk around with their nose stuck in a phone no matter what they are doing and miss many important details/things in life. We appreciate it and just want to celebrate these 4 on staff at your Hickory location. Have a great day! Andrew

The king of fast casual Mexican cuisine. Chipotle, Moe’s, On the border, all come up short vs Salsarita’s. The food is fresh, selection is great, and the service is top notch.

I can’t say enough nice things about the service, quality of food, and the personnel! We used Salsarita’s catering this weekend and Marsha was an absolute joy to work with! Customer service the way it’s supposed to be! Thank you, Marsha, for your kindness and professionalism! We will definitely be back!

One of my favorite spots dine in, our take out it's always amazing I wish they had more than one location. Great service great food reasonable pricing per quality and quantity! As a matter of fact talking about is making me want some wish they were open now.

There is good and bad. The ingredients are so fresh!! The meat is tender, bowl is so crunchy and fresh, veggies are incredible!! But....at checkout we got charged 75cents extra for each crunchy bowl, 2$ for queso cheese, then 10$ for the bowl. So for two crunchy bowls and one drink it was 32.00!!! Could you imagine a family of 4?? We can't do that again and to bad cause it's just a great incredible place!!!!

I love this restaurant. It is actually just about the same thing , very similar to Moe's Southwest Grill. You can dine in or carry out. They have a fresh food bar and you go down the line and select your own food and sides individually. The prices are reasonable and the food is delicious. This place is definitely a 5 star⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ restaurant. They are fast paced and very cooperative. They always make sure your order is right. Whether youre looking for somewhere to grab quickly, carryout takeout and eat, or to dine it and have a nice dinner this is the place to go. They also provide catering services and they are on point with their catering also. I went there today to get a carryout order and the restaurant was packed full and several people were in line i got in, ordered my food, and got out in less than 10 mins. They were preparing 11 catering orders and they were busy but very fast paced, organized, they pay attention to you and make sure things are correct, and they're very polite, understanding, and cooperative.

The lady who was in charge of taking orders was not happy with my 5 second hesitation, and I was given the smallest portion of chicken and beans that I've ever seen. The other girls judged my order and looked at each other with a smirk, and it made sense that there was only one other table in use today. I'd prioritize management in order to fix the reputation they've gained at the university.

Amazing staff! First time customer who will be returning! Food was perfect, atmosphere was awesome and the managers sealed the deal.
