It’s a wonderful place to find the authentic Bombay street food. Taste is also very good. I ordered for a Missel Pao. Pao Bhaji and Bada Pao. Service was fast; at least today or maybe we were first of a few customers. Paos were baked properly with masala and the missel and bhaji was so good. Bhaji could have had a little more salty but it depends.

I've been hearing about this truck for a little while now, and the front desk of my hotel strongly recommended it, as well. Placed a takeout order online for panipuri, chicken rice plate, and the kolhapur chicken curry. Every single dish was absolutely outstanding, with them all being perfectly prepared, spiced, and cooked. The mint chutney was one of the best I've had in a while, and I cannot say enough how good the two chicken dishes were. It's a busy truck and the guy at the window wasn't the most friendly, though it's probably because they were so busy. All in all, I super highly recommend this place and will probably go back tonight to try some different dishes!

There are a few places in the Bay area that offer food from the state of Maharashtra (India). Swaraj India is definitely one of the best ones. The food here tastes authentic and reminds me of food back home. Its a bit on the spicy side, which I like. This time I got the food delivered. The food was packed well and there were no spills on the way. 1. Kolhapuri Chicken Rice Plate: This comes with rice, roti and papad on the side. It is spicy! And flavorful. Complements the region this dish comes from (which is know for its spicy food). 2. Kolhapuri Vegetable Rice Plate: This comes with the same sides as the chicken and is spicy as well. 3. Pav bhaji: I loved this. Reminded me of eating the same thing at Juhu beach in Mumbai. 4. Vada Pav: Taste was very similar to what you get in Mumbai. Also the dry chutney is really good, and of course spicy. 5. Matki Bhel: I liked their take on the regular bhel. The moong beans tasted good with the rest of the ingredients. 6. Sev Puri: Many places serve this, but this place sent everything separate (as a kit). That way the puris were not soggy. Also a lot of different places serve this dish using the puris used for pani puri (thats not sev puri!) +1 for staying authentic and using flat puris. 7. Pani puri: The pani was nice and spicy. And they gave a generous amount of stuffing. Needless to say, I'll order again. P.S. I feel I'hv used the word "spicy" a lot in this review :D

The best vada pav I've ever had in the USA. The misal and kolhapur Curry are great too but not as much as the vada pav. The food truck has a few tables where you can sit but weather depending. When we visited it was chilly and windy so we had to sit in our car. But I'll highly recommend the place to try out. I have taken a star away because the guy who took out order was rude.

Craving maharashtrian food? Or just street food? This is your go to place around Milpitas. If you like it spicy just ask for extra spice. Authentic flavours, enjoy it while watching the setting sun or just pick up and enjoy at home. Tried the Kolhapuri mutton and paratha on second visit. It’s was too good.

We went here for dinner and ordered a lot of food. There was a line for ordering, but the delivery was quick. We ordered Misal Pav, Dahi Puri, Vada Pav and Pav Bhaji. Misal Pav was decent and spicy. Vada Pav was just okay. Dahi Puri and Pav Bhaji were decent too. Will visit next time and try their non-veg fare.

I recently visited this food truck serving authentic Marathi street food. I ordered a vada pav, chai, sev puri, and Bhel Puri, and all of them were delicious. The prices were reasonable. Overall, I would recommend this food truck to anyone looking for a good street food food experience.

If you want to experience some mumbai street food magic, this is the place. Vada-pav, bread pattice, pav bhaji, shev puri … are some of my favorites here. Pre order for take aways, vada pav is the quickest order if you are too hungry. 😉 its a food truck and a very popular one in the area.

I really enjoyed this spot for their quick and efficient yet authentic service. Although a bit on the spicer side, everything we ordered made us lick our fingers and I am definitely going back again to ugly eat like no one’s watching😅 They also have a cute little outdoors dine-in area arranged which is super convenient!

I've had chai from here before when they only accepted cash and today, we ordered pav bhaji and one order of pani puri. They do now accept credit cards with a $.25 charge. The pav bhaji was good but be warned, the garlic dry sauce is extremely spicy. This particular pani puri was new to me...there was a warm chole type of daal with normal, yummy pani. I expected gol gappe but this wasn't it. The pani puri were not bad, but I still don't know what to make of them. There are plenty of tables in the shade. The truck is in the lot of a smog check place.

Wow ! A delight for spicy food lovers, it was a bit too much for me but still it was so much fun. Felt like playing with fire. My wife belongs from Nagpur and she really found the spices up to authentic level and it was an great experience. We order chicken kolhapuri, mutton kolhapuri thali And vada pav and sev puri, everything was perfect and portions where good. The rotis also felt like home cooked and went well with the curries. Great job guys !

There are several superior restaurants nearby that offer delicious Maharashtrian cuisine at more affordable prices, such as Annapurna, Feast India, Puranpoli, Bombay Chaat, and more. We decided to try their vada pav, pav bhaji, and misal pav, but unfortunately, there was nothing enjoyable about them. The vada lacked any crispiness, and the pav bhaji and misal were excessively spicy without any discernible flavors. Additionally, their prices were higher compared to what you would typically pay at other restaurants. All in all, it was a complete waste of money. I would strongly recommend exploring other dining options in the area that offer better quality food and value for your money.

Loved the place, service, food. We were a group of 7 and we had to do a 45 minute wait. They dont have reservations so be ready to wait especially in the evening. Everything was spot on. The food was very authentic, we had 5 maharashtrians in our group and everyone vouched for it. Must try: Kolhapuri chicken, Kolhapuri Mutton, Vada Pav, Masala Papad. The server Gayatri was prompt and super helpful. Will definitely visit again. The Maharashtrian vibe and decor were amazing, felt like we were transported back to Maharashtra.

Ordered vada pav and sev puri. Excellent vada pav. Fresh pav with hot and very tasty vada and chutneys. Sev puri was okay.

Swaraj India's food truck brings the flavors of Mumbai to the Bay Area. As a proud Mumbaikar, I can vouch for their exceptional vada pav – a true taste of authenticity. The pav-bhaji and sev-puri are equally delightful, making it a must-visit for anyone craving a delicious slice of Mumbai street food culture. Quick service adds to the overall experience, making it a go-to spot for a delightful street food fix.
