I just ordered delivery and I’m so disappointed because I opened the bag holding my soup container just to see a quarter of my soup missing. I’m really disappointed and I love their food. It’s usually filled to the line at the top. I usually order and don’t have issues but I have to admit. This isn’t fair.

Came here to satisfy a Japanese curry craving - mission accomplished! We arrived as a party of two around half past noon on a Saturday. There are 8 or so parking spaces in the side and back of the restaurant with street meter parking available on the main road. The restaurant was about half full when we entered, and we were promptly seated at a 4-person table. The staff speak fluent English, but having a Korean speaker is a plus. The menus are not the newest or cleanest, but all the important information is clear, and they even provide some instructions on how to order and helpful tips! The servers were very prompt with ice water for the table, and they have additional soft drinks and other beverages available for purchase. The eating area is fairly spacious with ample distance between tables to have a sense of personal space. The decor was a mix of modern design with wooden furniture - reflective of their modern approach to traditional flavors in their curry. We ordered the basic curry rice and beef curry noodle, with the free garlic and green onions, along with fried chicken and pork cutlet on the side. The spice levels here are quite good. Level 1 is akin to the instant noodle Shin Ramen, level 2 is close to the basic volcano noodle challenge, level 3 is around the 2x volcano noodle, and the spicy guru we were afraid to try. They also have combos available for a small discount on the a la carte prices, and they offer tteokbokki for those interested in rice cakes. After ordering, our food came out after about 10 minutes. The curry flavors were excellent and hit the spot for our Japanese curry craving. There was a small bowl of soup that came with the curry rice. The noodles were very long and carried the curry quite well. The amount of beef in the noodles was on the smaller side. Thankfully, we had our extra toppings. The fried chicken was very lightly battered, crispy, and moist. The pork cutlet was a good size, and the crunch on the coating was delectable. They also had a small lettuce salad with a thousand-island-like dressing that came with the toppings. We were both quite full after finishing everything. In total, our meal with two entrees and two toppings came out to just shy of $50 plus tax and tip. The quality of the food was excellent, everything was delicious, the service was wonderful, with a warm atmosphere surrounded by others enjoying the food around you. It's definitely a jewel for Japanese curry in the area. We will certainly be visiting again!

The simplicity in their menu makes it so easy for a first timer or a long time curry eater. They do one thing and they do it well. Loved the chicken cutlet with their spicy beef curry. Will be back again.

abiko always seem packed when i walk by so tried it for the first time! first off, be warned about the spice levels. i got level 3 and it was definitely manageable, but i would've enjoyed the meal a lot more at level 2 lol overall, the flavor was really good! i just got the basic curry rice with cutlet lunch special (good deal btw). exploring the different types of curries might've been a better call though, since the basic is good, but unremarkable. overall, im really glad i tried this place and may come by again!

**They do have a designated parking in the back for about 4 cars but be careful when parking there. it's very narrow and one way in/out. Someone scratched my brand new GV70 (matte paint!) there while we were eating and left without a note!** I honestly do not know why we dont come here more often. This used to be the old gam namu gol spot and has been around for few years now. One of few restaurants in pal park with its own designated parking lot (not shared). I have been here several times and have never seen them crowded, but that does not mean their food is bad at all. They probably have the best Japanese Korean style curry we have tried. We usually go for eggplant and seafood, and they are money every time. Portions are big so having few toppings are more than enough for us. They do run bit spicy so i would recommend going mild if your tolerance is low. We tried the fried squid topping for the first time today and it was amazing! We made mental note to add it every time we are here. All in all, awesome spot!

The curry house comes with a parking lot in the back. It's nice inside, but they kept all the unnecessary stuff in the dining area. Things are getting old here. Services were good. The curry was delicious here and we always added chicken cutlets to our order. Level 3 spicy level is super hot already, be alerted!

I’m extremely disappoint and will never come here again. Confusing menu. “Pork curry rice” listed on the menu means plain rice with a side of curry sauce. That was $18. If you wanted the typical curry rice with pork katsu, that’s an additional $8 so it’s $27 for a curry rice with pork katsu. We asked if we can change our order, instead of trying to make the customer satisfied, a straight up “no you can’t” is what we got. Go to SAZANAMI curry house in Fort Lee, food tastes way better, and with $18 you get generous portion of curry rice with pork Katsu, PLUS pickled coleslaw PLUS miso soup. Unfortunately it was closed today and we had to resort to Abiko Curry. So disappointment.

This place only deals with curry, curry with rice, curry with noddles and even curry with pasta. And its amazing amazing curry!! There’s option to build your own curry dish, by picking the curry type, the spice level and toppings. They also have set of dishes. The restaurant has pretty decent turnover time. Even on Friday night, we got a table within 5-10 minutes of waiting. Food comes out within few minutes of ordering. Really glad to have found this spot, would be my go to curry destination.

This used to be my curry spot. I liked it because curry dishes taste good here and you can get Yuppduk. Not sure what happened to this place, but the curry doesn't taste the same anymore. This place is no longer my curry spot in town.

Spicy is pretty hot, so you've been warned tough guy. Food was delicious and came out shortly after ordering, our hostess was very polite and attentive as well as the other staff member there. Go Abiko! 👍

Food is good but expensive for the quantity they serve. Person who served us was not attentive, we clearly asked for the toppings and food was served without the toppings

Always a lovely place to stop by for some tasty curry. A decent variety of sides to choose from, all delicious in their own ways; combined with the curry that they serve will never fail to satisfy my cravings for a cozy and comforting meal.

The food never fails to put a smile on my face. The curry platters are rich in flavor, and you can customize them to your liking. If you like spicy, this is the place for you to test yourself, and if you don't, you can of course, get a platter with little to no spice. You will leave full and can walk to the cafes nearby to grab dessert.
