Today is Saturday July 8th. I came to get an oil change. Owner proceeded to say an oil change will be $85.00. Synthetic. My car is an 2002. I never pay $85.00. I don’t even do synthetic oil. I told him I wanted a regular oil change. He said “I don’t know what’s a regular oil change.” Huh? Then proceeded to tell me “I only get paid $12 an hour.” What does that have to do with me and the price of an oil change? “I don’t charge below $85.00 for oil change.” That’s fine. Just be aware this is over pricing folks. For no reason at all. Just because he wants to. I usually pay around $50 for my oil change. Never $85.00 and I will not start. Very rude and unprofessional. Don’t even waste time with people like that.

Decided to find a trusted local mechanic that is close to house. My car's serpentine belt broke few months back and dealership put in new one. It came off again. So I take it to Vinny and team at Meineke . Here's sequence of event : Me : My Engine is overheating and battery light is on. They had put on new Serpentine belt sometime back Vinny : Yeah belt came off I can put it back on but I will have to check **Few Hours later** Vinny (on phone) : Hey listen the belt came off but it won't stay on . I can't guarantee that it will . Me : What can you do to guarantee ? Vinny : We will have to order and put in new tensioner Me : Okay how much is that and will that fix it ? Vinny : It will cost total of 650$ and yes that should fix it. Me : Okay do it. Next Day : Me : So is the car ready ? Vinny : Yeah but I cannot guarantee it Me : Even after putting in new tensioner ? Vinny : Yeah there's a bunch of pulleys worth 250$ but I cannot figure out what's wrong. Belt keeps coming off . Take it back to the dealership (or maybe trade it in somewhere). We cannot figure out what's wrong. Me: Well aren't you mechanic shop . Did you take it on freeway to test ? Vinny : I don't have time to take it to the freeway. I can't guarantee when belt will come off. I wouldn't drive that car. So end of story I am 2 days later, 650$ short, and I am left with a car that might break down any second.

Very friendly and complete service. Took my car in and immediately got service. They did everything they said they would do. Called me to approve the work, then had the car ready by the end of the day. Excellent customer service.

Took my Outback in for a synthetic oil change. Included tyre rotation and the usual safety check. They were done in less than 40 minutes. Friendly staff even though they were busy. Definitely becoming a regular.

After a long drive from Toronto, Ontario to Maplewood, my car developed a muffler problem. I scheduled an appointment for the next day and the staff at the Maplewood Meineke Car Centre could not been more prompt, professional and courteous! They addressed my muffler issues quickly and they charged me a very reasonable price! I even tried to provide them with a tip and they refused to take one! Amazing! I strongly recommend this shop and advised my son to consider them for future car services and/or repairs!

Vinny was an OG for real. He didn’t care about our booked online appointments, at all! Lol. He confirmed such by saying “these new age care about the internet but I’m not an internet person. Just tell me what you need done to your car!” From that he did a thorough inspection of our car and told us we edit t need brakes, especially not rotors like another shop had insisted we needed and attempted to charge us $855 for. Vinny did our regular maintenance and sent us on our way. The integrity he displayed is rare and I love it. We’ll be back.

I spent and wasted money here. They will do the job but believe within 6 months it’ll be like you never got any work done. Almost lost my life because of the terrible parts they used. I will never refer anyone to this location or better yet meineke in general if they’re all like this. I spent over 1500 dollars for them to run with the money and my car is back at square one. I have to now get the same work redone and go through the same headache because of this terrible shop. Save yourself the hassle and go anywhere else.

The entire staff and office manager were nothing but kind, courteous, and professional. I was given a quote, and they honored the it, even when it turned out that a little more repair was needed. This speaks to just how honorable and entrenched they are in this community. They have definitely made me a lifetime customer, I will be telling everyone about the service and positive experience I had.

This is the spot for your muffler and exhaust repairs. Honest, fair, excellent prices. They were recommended by someone I trust and I am passing this on to you. I cannot recommend them enough. They repaired my exhaust problem with a description of what I could do to spend more or take an economical approach and since my car is nearly 30 years old I’m all for the economical repair.

Vinny is extremely rude and has awful customer service skills. He does not know how to speak to women and is condescending. Would not recommend this particular Meineke, please go elsewhere!

I was having a problem with my muffler but I was hoping it was my muffler anyway it was the exhaust system I drove into the parking lot I went inside I spoke to the owner who is very very nice and his receptionist she is wonderful also I asked him if he could look at my car he had no problems looking at my car I had no appointment and he must have had other appointments in front of me but he took my car he took the time to look at the problem diagnose the problem and his wonderful mechanic fixed the problem I would recommend Meineke at this location hands down the nicest people excellent work all around 10 out of 10 Stars

Vinnie is a very trustworthy and honest mechanic and business owner. We’ve been taking our cars to him at Maplewood Meineke for almost a decade — we wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Very pleased with the service. Everything explained before work started. Manager even took me into the shop to show me underbelly of the car and exhaust system that needed to be replaced. Also receptionist, Jackie, very professional.

Called multiple times to setup an appointment, no answer. Booked an appointment online, showed up to no one on site. Knocked, rang, called nothing. Hard to recommend when they don’t even honor or seemingly accept appointments.

I scheduled an appointment online and when I arrived I was told that he doesn't look at or honor online appointments. If he was polite about it, I would have been fine, but he was very rude and treated me like I was the one in the wrong. I scheduled online and received an email confirmation, how would I know that you don't use the online system. If you are a woman I don't suggest that you use this location, because I'm sure he would not have spoken to a man the way that he spoke to me. I wish I could give negative stars.

I’m SO grateful for Vinnie’s help with my air conditioning and heating! He was knowledgeable, accommodating, and diligent. This is definitely my first choice the next time I’m having any issues with my car.
