The drinks here are good, such as the mora smoothie with milk and the limonada de cereza. I had a tostón mixto and that was good & i tried the bandeja paisa and that there had no flavor - the steak was so dry .. The only thing that i liked was the beans and rice, and that just defeats the purpose of ordering it. The service was ehhhh due to the fact they took forever to attend us and when the food finally came out ..they forgot to give us silver ware - i guess they thought we was gonna eat with our hands ... Lastly, they knew we weren't going to tip due to the very bad service - they decided to add a 20 dollar tip on the check. We obviously claimed for it to be removed. All I'm saying is it's better to order food to take out from here than to dine in because it's just not it.

This has some of the best Colombian food I have eaten. The mini Plato Paisa was HUUGE and everything was cooked great. The most tender, juicy chicharron I have ever had. Yes, the prices are more than you'd pay at other places in this block but 1) most people eating here are not from N.P. so what are you complaining about, 2) portion sizes are HUGE, 3) the food is delicious. You'd pay more going to a neighborhood Italian place for less food. The man at the counter is really nice and so were the other staff. 10/10 recommend!

Good Colombian food , nice staff ...they have to improve their coffee , for a Colombian restaurant their coffee is less than average. Update . I'm not sure if the restaurant has new owners , the restaurant is much better now , coffee is very good , great atmosphere, the waitress was very nice and caring, I had a light breakfast with huevos pericos and a croissant with a latte , was spot on. Will definitely come back .

Food was delicious and the service was phenomenal

I remember when we went the first time and it was the other restaurant we didn't like the food it didn't feel fresh. Now everything is different, I think it has changed for the better. Now we love all the food, the chicarrones with guacamoles are our favorites.

Fellow Patrons Beware *hair found in food* My family and I have have frequented this place for a while now, ever since it was operating under their previous name. We’ve been here for everything ranging from bread take out, to sweet snacks to big meals. No real issues other than their steak was often tough and bland. On this particular day, we opted for an early breakfast here. As we started eating, it was noticed that there was hair charred on one side of the piece of meat. Needless to say we were all disgusted and even more disappointed at the response from the waitress. Our family and friends will not be returning here.

Walking into D'Colombia brings you into a modern and very fresh ambience. The staff welcomes you with a warm smile and offers great service. Food is good, with a great variety of Colombian flavors. Having the bakery, offers another level of options. You can sit down for a meal or grab an amazing Colombian coffee with some of the best bakery goods go.

So I usually come in to eat with the family and the food is always good, but they can definitely use some help with service, to begin with at the cashier stand, Leidy seems to think she’s a manager or maybe the owner, her imposing demeanor when talking to people is very unfriendly and makes you think she’s being bothered, I asked her to please put on a soccer game on the tv behind her so I can watch it and she told me to wait. When she finally decided to put the game on she went ahead and played it in the tv that was right behind me, as if it was some kind of joke, so I had to get up and go to the cashier stand one more time and ask her to put the game on the tv behind her, she then responded very angry and said she doesn’t have the remote for that tv, but the tv was on somehow. She should be careful how she treats people, someone can easily have their friends leave bad reviews on this place until those stars go down to 1 which is exactly what she deserves

I can tell you this.. That shop has a pretty dope family atmosphere. When I went there I said to myself, now THIS is a restaurant. Service was a little slow due to a pack restaurant

Such a good atmosphere & even better food. I've been here a few times but I door dashed this time, the food was just as good. The food always tastes like the chefs are in a great mood! Everybody has their days I'm sure, but every waitress I've had the pleasure of being waited by, have been amazing. I try not to keep expectations too high when eating at a restaurant but this place has never disappointed me or anyone I've been there with.

Ecuadorian Family here! But love to go to this restaurant whenever we are in the area, even though there is an Ecuadorian restaurant right in front of it. Servers are all so kind and friendly, they accomodate to different needs, even infant food choices!!!. Food is always great and priced fair. Everytime we go we get fresh made cheese bread. Try it and thank me later

A special restaurant in North Plainfield. If you want Colombian food, it’s a must! The service is great and the music being played has your feet tapping non-stop.

Colombian Food is consistently good. They have another location in Elizabeth, so happy they opened this one here close to home. Portions are always large and food very well prepared. Today we had the special sancocho de carne(meat stew-soup) comes with side dish of the meat, rice, salad! We also had the meat empanadas, this time they were a little hard, but the stuffing was good. Overall good. The fruit juices are also good, you can get them in water or milk. We enjoy eating here. They also have a bakery with delicious bread.

Service and food were both great. Guacamole and other apps are on point. The platters and fish are cooked perfectly and are not over done nor fishy. Recommend to anyone looking for a good meal.
