The "three island boat trip" is a rip-off. Way too expensive compared to similar boat trips in other countries, small uncomfortable boat and really uncooperative and unfriendly boat owner (Mr. Martins boat charters). Be prepared to be ripped off with "taxes" as well. Tax for the marina, tax for the island and tax again if you jumped in the water with a snorkling mask. The only good thing about the boat was the skipper who was friendly. Snorkling at Inhanca island is pretty nice. All in all a disappointing experience. Don't waste your money on this, especially not with Mr. Martins boat charters. If you really want to go, go with someone else.

Maputo is a beautiful city with a great coast line with wonderful hotels to stay at. It has an exciting night life and has plenty to do during the day. You do need a Visa to get into Mozambique and someone inside the country to sponsor you. A hotel can do that for you. Across the bay from Maputo is a beautiful island called Inhaca which I highly recommend you visit. Traffic is not for the faint of heart though

Restaurant bar in downtown with the perfect view of Maputo Bay. Very cooled. Drinks are affordable. If it is a busy night, service can be slow and you might have to get up and get drinks yourself. There is seafood and it is nice, for starters and main.

Toom a boat to the islands, parking is reasonable. The deck is clean.
