Only ate at the restaurant, didn't stay at the lodge. The lodge cabins look very spacious though, designed for self catering. Have 3 bedrooms, living room, kitchen area and bathroom. Directly at the beach. Nice bar and pool / entertainment area. We ordered tiger prawns at the restaurant for dinner (was not on the menu as a separate dish but part of the seafood platter which would have been too much food for us). Food was tasty but we found the dish way overpriced and didn't make sense as the whole seafood platter was just slightly higher priced. Pity, as this definitely influenced our rating.

Incredible! Exceeded my expectations! I've never seen such hospitality as we did during our short stay at Ocean Pearl. The owners went out of their way to accommodate us from the moment we stepped out the car, especially when it came to helping us find our lost companions. The stay was pleasant, location fantastic, incredible views and close proximity to the bay. Just wish we had additional spare days to extend our stay. I will definitely be returning. Highly recommend anyone staying or passing by Vilanculos to make this a priority. It's a perfect relaxing getaway. Thanks again Marthinus.

Stunning brand new property with camping and large villas, right on the ocean. Full restaurant, etc. I camped under the palms in my overland vehicle.

We had a wonderful stay camping at Ocean Pearl - the campsite is lovely and the staff are all very helpful. Also good value for the quality of the camp. Highly recommended.

Excellent service and amenities with friendly workers at the lodge - it might be part of the warmth of the culture of Mozambique in Vilankulos, but overall I felt safe and at home. I highly recommend staying here and waking to the town center (about 45 minutes) to meet some friendly locals; the children will tease you if you look like a tourist and you’ll have a good laugh. Make sure to fish and cook your caught prize on the BBQ, the local fish here is delicious. Highly recommended, will be back! Thank you for the unforgettable vacation, Charlize.

Marthinus and his wife were exceptionally hospitable and went out of their way to assist. One vehicle in our convoy broke down about 105 km away from the lodge and Marthinus at his own expense drove us to the breakdown scene and arranged his assistant to sort out the vehicle. Followed thru till we left the lodge. Thanks guys. Keep it up. Will definitely return and recommend.

Wonderful Stay! Charlize and her friendly team at Ocean Pearl Lodge made our stay incredible! The Lodge boasts a lovely view of the ocean and the gardens are well kept. The villas are are newly renovated, spacious, fully equipped and spotlessly clean. We stayed in a 3 spacious bedroom Villa which had a full kitchen, air conditioning and bbq on the wooden terrace overlooking the ocean. The beds were comfortable and the rooms cool as they have air conditioning and ceiling fans. The lodge has a restaurant and a bar, that offers breakfast, lunch and dinner. The food was fresh and delicious. There is a variety of activities for the whole family- deep sea fishing, kayaks, wake boarding, tubing, island excursions and picnics, swimming pool, darts, trips to the local village market, jet skiing to name a few. As fishing enthusiasts, we had Brian and Grinaldo skippering us on a carry cat that is well equipped with the only the best shimano rods and reels. The fishing was amazing! And we caught a variety of game fish. Would highly recommend this lodge for a family getaway, group of friends or a fishing trip. Will definitely come back! Thank you to the team at Ocean Pearl!
