Pomene
Beach
Camp
-
better
known
perhaps
as
Ian's
place
-
was
the
highlight
of
our
trip
to
Mozambique,
Swaziland
and
South
Africa.
I
never
write
reviews
but
was
happy
to
do
so
this
time.
It
really
is
stunning
in
terms
of
scenery,
looking
out
over
a
beautiful
beach
and
bay.
The
owners
Ian
and
Steffi
are
legends.
You
need
a
4x4
to
get
there,
and
if
you
do
you
won't
be
disappointed.
Since
it's
so
remote,
it
feels
special
and
authentic
(not
a
single
sales
guy
on
the
beach,
in
fact
almost
no
one
at
all).
The
bay
provides
for
a
perfect
point
break
for
surfing,
better
in
my
experience
than
Tofu
and
Ponta
do
Ouro.
Great
food,
nice
rooms/huts
and
overall
just
good
value
for
money.
The
old
and
deserted
hotel
on
a
nearby
hill
overlooking
the
bay
is
something
out
of
a
movie.
