An amazing experience from the food to the staff to the atmosphere. There is a stunning view and in particular we recommend the amazing lobster caril, hummus and complimentary bread rolls, though everything we ordered was delicious. Lovely to meet roger the owner too who had some great stories to tell!

Friendly staff, delicious food elegantly arranged on the plate, and spacious rooms. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are clean. The hotel is decorated with beautiful antiques and paintings all found on the island. The view from the restaurant of the sunset on the ocean is breathtaking.

I spent eight nights at Rickshaws Pousads’s Cafe and Hotel. I can tell you from day one, we were treated like royalty! The staff has raised the bar of excellence and professionalism to an all time high! The hospitality manger Isac and his entire team can teach a course in hospitality and customer service. The food is totally incredible! My favorites were...everything on the menu lol , particularly the Lobster Curry. The place is well kept and very clean! The scenery and ambience is indescribable with beautiful sunsets ,early sunrises and the sound of the ocean roaring day and night! The Owner Roger is super friendly and very accommodating whose goal is 100% customer satisfaction. The entire staffs smiles constantly and they take great pride in service. If you are on the island of Mozambique, this place is a must! They get 5 ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ from me! I can’t wait until next time!

Met the owner while exploring the streets and invited us to stop by and check out the place. Rickshaw quickly became the place to go relax, have a bite to eat, and get some work done! The staff has been amazingly kind and helpful when trying to learn a bit of the local dialect. I would highly recommend Rickshaws and to try their lobster curry!

Our family of four stayed here recently for a little over a week. Beautiful location on the water. Rooms are creatively designed and very comfortable. The staff is friendly and caring. Great food as well! They have connections throughout the island for sailing, cultural activities, tours, and restaurants.

The best spot for a iced cold coffee and breathtaking brownie ever! Also checked their rooms out of curiosity and they look really nice, definitely will stay here next time :)

Absolutely beautiful place to stay! The views are amazing, it overlooks the beach. The food is delicious! I had the burger and the cheese pasta. The staff is soo friendly and do what they can to make you feel comfortable and enjoy your experience. I highly recommend staying at Rickshaws!

Probably the best place to stay on Mozambique island. It’s expensive but completely worth it. Comfortable rooms, beautiful views of the ocean and free kayak rentals(highly recommended). The food is delicious and they have really good baked goods ( the cookie with ice cream). Plus they have the best staff, I’m talking about isac. The friendly English speaking waiter. Would go back !

I have traveled the world for work for many years now. I have never stayed at a more welcoming place than Rickshaws! From the moment we arrived, the staff and owners made my family and I feel so welcomed and cared for! The rooms were very spacious for my family of 4. The staff was always willing to go the extra mile to serve us! The views from the patio area are stunning. Best sunsets I've experienced!
