Woohoo.....beach bar/restaurant with stunning location on the beach in Barra. Really good snacks freshly prepared & ever so tasty. The bait fish starter was excellent along with some very tasty crab cakes complemented the cold beers on a very hot afternoon

Best restaurant in Mozambique!! We were in Tofo diving for 6 days and we went there because it was recommended to us. We then proceeded going back every day! The quality of the seafood is amazing and the preparation impeccable. Lovely venture by this established French couple. It’s also the spot where the whales will come closer to shore. Unbeatable!

Woman there was very rude, service wasn’t good, we spent USD 600 on a lunch for 9 people which is the most expensive place I’ve ever eaten at and the food was not worth that money rather go to Neptunes, it’s much nicer there and better atmosphere and people

I loved this place! The ambiance was great as were the dishes. Mind the little shop next to the bar--you may find exceptional quality souvenirs alongside treasures find nowhere else.

Mind-blowing place. Not only does it sit on the most beautiful beach with a perfect sunset, but the food is cooked to perfection, creatively spiced, and beautifully served. The staff is extremely attentive and you can tell they have considered even the smaller details to make it a unique experience. Note that the kitchen closes 18.30, so make sure to be there in time.

Very nice beach restaurant. French flair, so food is good. Took one star away for sandy oysters and stale bread. Ambiance is nice. Beefsteak and fish was very good. Potatoes we're top notch. Unprepared for early closure. Kitchen closed at 6:00 and no mention when we reserved for 5:30. Credit cards not work so have “ alternate” means of payment.

Me and all my family got severe FOOD POISONING at this restaurant. We then learned that other groups that have eaten there that same day and a few days before also were afected. After contacting the owner, she does not aknowledge that this came from her restaurant and doesnt seem to be doing anything about it. Ruined vacation. Go there at your own risk. Horrible.

Definitely the best food in the region! The menue changes based on what's available in the season. Dished are prepared with love and the staff is extremely well trained. The atmosphere is exactly what you expect of a beach restaurant. Really recommend also trying the deserts 👌

Best restaurant we have visited in whole Mozambique. Delicious and creative food, lovely owner, beautifully furnished. You literally feel they put love into each detail. Right in front of the ocean you can have breakfast, lunch, dinner, amazing mojitos and relax in the beach bed. Try their home made coconut chips!

By far the best culinary experience in the whole region, from the fresh, delicious sea food to the wonderful hospitality of the French owners. I've been eating there for a week every day and I will certainly miss it when I leave. It's a must.

Delicious food in a glorious setting

The view is stunning. The only thing out doing the view is the food. Truly an unbelievable experience. It is prized according,but completely understandable and worth it. For a fine dining experience that will blow your mind I fully endorse Green Turtle and it's team!

AMAZING. My taste buds were in heaven, i could have all my meals here. They put a special touch in everything they do and the vibe is just incredible. Be sure to make a reservation before you go.
