This place is special! The location is amazing, the staff are just SO wonderful and the diving is exquisite. It's a really special place, unlike anywhere else I've been in Mozambique. My husband and I are advanced divers and really enjoyed the different dive sites, the atmosphere, the service and the food. Shout outs to Derrick, Mari and Nadja for a really great week, we wish we could have stayed longer. Also the food is phenomenal.

Amazing place in paradise to go scuba diving, learn how to dive, eat at the vegetarian restaurant, do an Ocean Safari to have the chance to see whale sharks. Personally I have a great experience, great team, great people.

I went to liquid for my open water dive course. Lovely place, they are very amicable, i felt at home. it was a solo trip but i didn't felt solo not for one minute. Was the best trip i had so far. The Happi restaurant have the best meals ever. All the workers are very nice and friendly. Derrick was my instructor for my open water dive, and i couldn't have ask for the best. He is the best. I panic at first dive but he was there to assist me until i felt confident to continue to dive. Judi and Derrick were determined to help acomplish my goal and they did, they design all kind of strategy to help overcome my panic and was amazing how they suceed. i am now a open water dive thanks to them. i will definitely go back for other dive and i am looking forward.😊

I can only review the restaurant since I have not gone diving yet nore am I staying here. But the restaurant is one of Tofos finest! The food is incredible, only vegetarian and fish dishes, prepared and served with love👌 the staff is very well trained, speaks English and is super kind. The whole atmosphere is relaxed and beautiful!

I would avoid the restaurant and not be taken in by how lovely the setting/location is, see below. 2 visits, both consistently bad. Much better places around. That said, friends have told me that the dive company is good. SECOND ATTEMPT Osvaldo responded to our first terrible visit and was kind to offer a free meal. It was regrettable though to say that second time trying it was still less than average. It was a poor experience at a place that looks pristine. When we returned the boss Osvaldo was present when we ordered a crab starter, fish burger and calamari mains, both with salad and chips. We waited over 40minutes with no communication from anyone. The calamari and fish burger arrived cold as was the one portion of chips that arrived (not two). We asked for it to be heated. We did eat the salad that came with the fish burger which was very good. The food re-arrived about 5-10minutes later. It was warmer but not what I would call hot. The crab starter that the boss Osvaldo heard me order never arrived. The place today was near empty and the table next to us also seemed to be complaining about something. Liquid Restaurant looks fantastic, is on the beach, clean and looks really high-end. There must have been 5-8 staff working the restaurant and considering the place was near empty and lunchtime, it was nothing short of a shambles. I will not mention other places in Tofo out of respect but other places, even the places that are not marketing themselves as high-end do so much better. I really appreciated Osvaldo's hospitality today. It felt that he really cared to make sure our experience at Liquid would be different, especially by being present when I made the order but even then we’re left with similar issues as yesterday. It feels like there is something really wrong happening. Twice in 2 days cannot be a coincidence. ORIGINAL REVIEW - FIRST VISIT Waited over an hour for our food and when it came the order was wrong. No communication from the staff. Left without eating. Service staff were appalling. The chef did actually seem like he cared but it was all a bit too late to rectify. You'd expect a lot more from a high end place like this.

I did my PADI OW with them in 2016, and I remember it to be extremely thorough, safe and professional. I recently wanted some details on mu certification and was super impressed at their swift and resourceful reply.

We went there a dive, the instructor was very nice and patient, after a bad expérience with diving in Sodwana bay, this really reconciled us with diving

I had an excellent time here together with my 11 year old son! The location is perfect, the rooms are very nice, all with seaview, the food amazing and all the staff, whether it's the diveshop or the retaurants, are really wonderful! We did the ocean safari (snorkeled allongside a whaleshark!), the whale expedition (saw a humpback with young jump again and again only 20 metres from our boat!) and my son did his first dive ever here! As a parent you of course feel slightly anxious but Jo and Dex (mr. pineapple 😉) did such a wonderful job teaching him everything in a fun, safe and caring way that we felt safe 100% of the time and he has memories for a lifetime! We stayed 6 days but wish we had (a lot) more time. We'll be homesick the next few weeks so even their slogan is spot on: we're leaving family 😢

I’ve been diving over 15 years in as many countries around the world and I can honestly say Liquid Dive are the best I’ve had the pleasure to dive with. Amazing organisation, super friendly dive and boat crew, excellent equipment, and a VIP experience on the boat. They do everything for you - all you have to do is dive. During my 22 dives here I visited all the beautiful deep dive sites and got to swim on a couple of occasions with humpback whales during the surface intervals. A special thanks to Nadia, Quinn, Decks, Bibi, Lisa and Pequeño for looking after me.

I completed my IDC at liquid and a couple of dives. Would highly recommend Jari as a mentor and a teacher. I had a great two weeks and managed to pass the IE! The food at the restaurant is good and the rooms look lovely. The only downside right now is they don't offer nitrox fills which are very useful to have whilst diving in tofo. Other than that top notch dive center.

My husband and I chose Tofo as the destination for our anniversary trip. We always dive during our vacations, but this time was unique - it was my first experience diving with gauges calibrated in meters and Bars instead of PSI or feet. Despite feeling a bit uneasy, I decided to dive anyway. Fortunately, Luca noticed my discomfort while we were still on the boat. He attentively kept an eye on me, ensuring I didn't make any risky moves that could potentially harm myself. I owe him for preventing any mishaps. I highly recommend Liquid Dive! Prior to our dive, the dive master meticulously ensured everyone's equipment was in top condition and that they were familiar with its operation. The team's thoroughness and attention to detail were impressive, making for an awesome experience overall.

Very nice atmosphere, professional and relaxed dive masters make for a happy and chill dive. Instructors make sure you check and double check all of the equipment. Briefing is thorough and at a nice pace. Dive site Fingers is a nice shallow dive with LOTS of fish. The guides make sure to show you the hard to see and magnificent creatures. Afterwards a thorough debrief of all the fish we saw made it a very nice and happy experience! 10/10

We went on an ocean safari and unfortunately nobody listens to us when clearly stating that one person had never snorkeled before. The sea was very rough and no instructions were given on how to handle the basics. The staff was very kind and sympathetic but unfortunately unable to deal with the situation. When this inexperienced person when back onto the boat he hurt himself and was bleeding. It seems there was no first aid kit on board. When arriving back to the station we asked a manager for disinfectant but also there no wound treatment was offered. Eventually hand disinfectant was brought. We explained, that we told everybody many times, that one person had not snorkeled before. To my big surprise, we were blamed for going onto the tour, even though someone was snorkeling for the first time. This is the first time I ever post an unpleasant feeling about a service I received, and I feel that the company should improve their attitude towards snorkeling beginners as well as their attitude towards customers who had an unpleasant experience. In a nutshell, it might be interesting for experienced snorkelers, however the water is really wavy that actually the vision is very poor. Compared to snorkeling in Thailand, Indonesia, and Okinawa, it doesn’t really cut the mustard, sorry!

Had an amazing experience with the team at Liquid. Extremely friendly, professional and thorough. They make you feel safe and at home. Equipment is high quality and they take care of all the equipment assembly and transport. Can't wait to come back and dive again. Big thank you to everyone for making the dives so special.

Liquid Dive was such a treat! Perfect location, right on the beach, delicious cafe and top notch diving. My advanced open water was a fun way to spend the time when there weren’t waves to surf. Nadia was a legend as was all of the staff at Liquid! Highly recommend 🤙

Had the best time with Liquid Dive - the staff were super professional and fun, especially Judy and Quinn went out of their way to make the dive amazing and show us the best spots and fish. I even swam with a manta and a whale shark before the actual dive. The location of the dive school is incredible and I ended up eating almost every meal and drink there since the food is absolutely delicious and bar/restaurant staff are the sweetest. Thank you so much for everything Liquid, I'll be back in paradise for sure!

Liquid is a top notch spot. I didn’t dive, but went for the ocean safari. The guys working there are cool and made me want to come back to dive with them next time! And the veg restaurant they have is so nice, right on the beach, with amazing food. Don’t miss it!

I had an incredible experience getting my open water certification at Liquid. From the manager Brian to the instructors and staff everyone made sure my time at liquid was exceptional. The dive centre is beautifully situated on the beach with a great restaurant and welcoming environment. Everything is extremely well organized and handled in a professional manner. By far the best rental equipment I have experienced from a dive centre. I saw an incredible range of aquatic life on a variety of dive sites and would certainly recommend to anyone looking to dive in Tofo. I hope I have the opportunity to do my freediving certification at Liquid in the future.

Simple but functional accommodation. Only negative is lack of curtains so the rising sun doesn’t allow for sleeping in. Dive Centre is fantastic. Our daughters did the course and had a blast. Nadia and Dawson were excellent instructors. Equipment is abundant and new so thanks for that. Happi restaurant limited but tasty vegetarian menu. All staff very friendly. Definitely best dive centre in Tofo by far.

This place left a really unpleasant feeling. It is very image-conscious and feels like the opposite of a friendly, inclusive dive centre.

Felt like home the moment I arrived. The last 4 days went by so fast. I wasnt there for surfing or diving, but it has good accommodations and I just relaxed around the pool and beach. The vibe, people, location and especially the inhouse (food)bar were very pleasing! Would def come back 10 out of 10!!!

Amazing dive shop, truly professional instructors, kind & helpful staff and great equipment. Had really great dives and was always looked after. Also went on the ocean safari with my girlfriend and we loved it. Swam with three whale sharks and saw bunch of whales. Highly recommend! Oh and btw the food at their restaurant Happi is delicious.
