What a great team running such a smooth operation. Had an absolute blast both diving and spending some time with the crew on the surface. I cannot wait until I'm back at the Shoal with Scubaco!

What a group of stunning individuals. Dean and Tamara runs this intimate diving/charter facility. I have known Dean for 20 years. Was our skipper on our first dives down in Umkomaas, back in the day😂😂. Did my RAID master rescue course with them in September. Tamara and Zane are the most patient, well informed instructors and made me feel at ease and capable of doing anything. The skippers JP and Dean you guys are awesome, felt safe and well looked after on our trips out to sea. The staff at the dive shop looking after gear and your needs, they know exactly what gear goes where, don’t need to ask for anything, all ready to go🙌🙌🙌. The whole atmosphere is homey. Freshly backed muffins and coffee every morning before your dive and when you return all gear are looked after and washed so you can have a hot shower and relax. Everyone knows exactly what there roll is in this business and they work as a well oiled machine. They also offer accommodation right across the road from the dive centre , 32 on Harvey, stunning, crispy clean and catering to all your needs. This is a very well thought out setup ......11/10. Incredible diving with ScubaCo ! I completed my Open Water 20 and it was definitely an experience to remember. Extremely professional team. They make sure you are confident and comfortable in the water. I had Danie and Tristan taking me through the course - they made the learning process extremely fun. Our ocean dives were amazing and we saw really incredible fish, coral, rays and even a grey-tipped reef shark ! The rest of the team -including Tamara, Abbey and the skipper Dean, were all extremely helpful and friendly. Will definitely be returning to dive with them !! Thank you for exceeding all expectations :)

This was absolutely amazing!! We stayed there for 2 days and did 2 dives. A reef dive and baited shark dive. They feel like family and are great with all there knowledge. We saw up to 30 sharks and lots of other fish.

We had awesome time today - thank you Tamara & Team Scubaco Diving & Travel. We experienced three different species of shark (up close and personal) and the professional service and a safe launch is appreciated. We even got a steaming hot towel, as soon as put foot back on dry land after a cold winterday dive!

I struggle terribly with seasickness and never thought scuba was for me, however my husband convinced me to give it a go and signed me up for the Open Water Course with Scubaco. Tamara is an amazing teacher. She, the divemasters, and skipper-Dean did such a great job helping me get through the course inspite of some windy days. I ended up loving diving so much that I did my Advanced course at scubaco as well. The service is great and clients are well cared for with post-diving muffins and lollipops. The staff are extremely competent with a love and excitement for the underwater world that will inevitably rub off on even the most apprehensive diver-to-be :)

ScubaCo has an incredible high standard of quality that they offer. They also gave us an instant warm and welcoming vibe. Safety is of height value as well as properly educating us before the shark dive, this was of most importance to me as I wanted to enjoy my first shark dive as well as not make any rookie mistakes. Not to mention that Tam is amazing! She and my now fiance 😃 arranged the dive where he asked me to marry him. Whenever I called her to make changes she didn't give anything away, she really went out of her way to make that moment really special and I would just want to thank her again. Had an amazing time with Scubaco, so nice that I had to change my flight twice to stay longer. The crew is very professional and helpful. Since the moment you met the in the morning until you arrive from diving, they will help you with your equipment and will answer any questions you have. The rooms have everything you will need, fridge, nice bed, air conditioning, etc. There is also a pool were you can spend your afternoon relaxing! On top of all of this DIVING is amazing, so far the best destination I've been to. You will see sharks every single day! Saw a Bull Shark and a Great White Shark on a reef dive, Dolphins, turtles colourful fish, etc I went alone to Umkomaas but felt like I was in a big family, the Scubaco Family. Overall it was an experience that i will never forget and it's a shame you can only give 5 stars because they deserve 10.

An incredible experience! We went as a pair and did our Open Water 20 course with ScubaCo in Umkomaas a few months ago. Both of us felt quite nervous about diving, but had loads of time to get familiar with the RAID material and were in great hands learning the ropes! A lot of attention was given to us individually to master the skills well and answer questions we had. The team was friendly, professional and experienced, and we now both feel very comfortable and safe for future dives after our training sessions in beautiful Aliwal Shoal! Really a great place to learn :)

Hi to everyone! I wanted to do a sharkdiving and found a scuba base who offers this type of diving. At the previus afternoon, the scuba base told me they can‘t do the dive. So I asked at Scubaco if they could do it. I was lucky - Scubaco arranged the dive for me, even it was less time bevor the dive started. At the next morning I got a really good briefing for the equipment and the dive. They gave me lots of informations about the sharks and then we started to the ocean. The skipper did a good job, so we were fast at the perfect divingspot with really clear water. Finally we went into the water and as we saw from the boat, there are many many blacktips down there. We dived down and all around us, the sharks come close but relaxed and calm. 50 minutes of diving, but felt like much shorter - because it was sooo wunderful. I felt always well and secured and trusted my divebuddy Abby soo much! The sharks were so beautiful and it was a big dream coming true in this hour with the blacktips. I thank scubaco so much for this opportunity!! I had such a perfect time with them and would do it every time again. If you wanna dive with sharks or want to see the great world underwater: dive with scubaco! Like a family - competently - friendly! Again: thank you soooo muuuch for everything! We went with ScubaCo for some fun diving and had an incredible experience, feeling like being in an all inclusive luxury dive center. When you arrive for your first dive, all your gear is set up and only needs the safety checks. The guys even help you into your wetsuit as best as possible. You don't need to carry any gear at any time. On the boat everything felt really safe, the dive master and the skipper also do a really good job briefing the passengers before going out in the surf. And after some wonderful adventurous dives every diver gets a hot towel on the beach to wash off their salty faces. Never have I ever been in a dive center with better customer care. Thanks for everything Tamara, Coal, Abby and Elder!

Absolutely fantastic atmosphere, at the dive center, kids love it there and they don't want to dive at other places. Kids are safe if not diving the day, relaxing next to the beautifully kept pool and lawn. Just so much fun

Brillant experience. Went to join the Sardine Run with Scubaco and had such a good time. Jamie, Stan, Keagan, Bruce, Tamara (certainly forgot to mention all the other great people), all took care and made sure we had a great time, wonderful snorkel experience, bumpy boat rides, great food (!!!) and all the magic around it. What a week I had, highly recommended.

Best diving experience in south africa! The people are very welcoming and relaxed. After you had an apple and a Lolipop on the boat right after diving, try one of the delicious Muffins from Tamara.

We just went snorkeling with sharks and I must say, what an awesome experience!!! Was the most exciting event of my entire holiday and it was only possible thanks to ScubaCo Diving & Travel. They are the coolest most professional and composed experts ever! I highly recommend... In fact I urge people to go and experience what we did with them, you're in very safe hands with them. It was incredible.

Just did the Try Dive. Never dived before and it went smooothly. No issues, no nonsense. They taught us what to do and in an hour we were in the aquatic realm and enjoying the environment. Great people and great experience. Highly recommend!
