The fortune River View hotel @Nakhon Phanom is one of the Mekong riverside hotels. The view made me stunned. The room is clean, modern, and comfortable. I’m impressed with the big shower is very good pressure and the bed is soft. The staffs including housemates are very nice and polite. The international buffet breakfast was delicious. I’m looking for traveling to the Mekong River and I’ll book this hotel again. However, as far as I’m concerned, the price is not quite reasonable. It's quite expensive esp. in high season. Note: there are no available toothbrushes and toothpaste in this hotel.

Very comfortable soft bed and quality sleep in a large room with great views of the Mekong River and Laos. Breakfast is good with plenty to eat. Definitely recommend a stay here.

Customer service was poor, room prices expensive. I was told by their customer service they DO NOT CATER FOR NON-THAI PEOPLE. My advice is spend your money at another motel. My name is Mark Felton, I stayed there on 25 Jul 2022 and stand by my comments. Very poor motel, stay somewhere else.

Great location next to the Mekong River. You can hire bicycles or e-bikes or just walk up and down. You'll need a tuk-tuk to get into town. The hotel itself is good value, and we didn't experience the issues in the negative reviews on here (Feb 23).

I've stayed in Nearly all the fourtune resorts and have been A1 Service every time the stay are all amazing and rooms are fist class very comfortable beds and larg rooms breakfast is A1 as well I love ❤️ staying at fourtune i will not go anywhere else 😀 🙂 🙃 Mario and may from Australia

Peaceful accommodation with nice morning view. I can visit many interesting places nearby such as temples, market, sightseeing spots.

Superb hotel in terms of value for money - fabulous ensuite rooms, swimming pool for the price of a dorm room in a hostel in Europe. Lovely location overlooking the Mekong

To choose this Hotel for our weekend was a good decision. From our room we had direct acsess to the swimming pool and a good sight to the Mekong River. Also we enjoyed the rich breakfast buffet.

The view and the place to stay were excellent and well worth the money for such a tidy, spotless accommodation with a living area.

The 3 star hotel is cheapest compared to nearby hotels. It over viewing the Fortune River where you can see clearly Sunset view. It's aminities is really conducive and can be roaming around using bikes or pedal by yourself.

We found a bottle of Spy wine cooler that was being already opened despite we did not drink in refrigerator when i inform front office, she got it but no any action even apologize. I’m not recommend. Front staff don’t have service mind and not willing to help guest. Breakfast variety but meh.

Lovely older style hotel over looking the Mekong. We had a pool view room with direct access to the pool. It was quiet and comfortable. Would highly recommend.

Good quality hotel overlooking the Mekong River. The hotel is right on the riverside and has some great views across to Laos. There is a good pool and the rooms are modern with good facilities. Breakfast has a good choice with plenty of western options. The hotel is circa 3km from the naga monument and its a beautiful walk along the river promenade. Overall a good option for a couple of nights stay in Nakhon Panhom.

Perfectly located by the river and start of the town many activities always just outside a d close to the hotel (walking distance) we had a enjoyable stay.

Very beautiful location. Clean comfortable room. The staff was so kind to me and my fiancee, we will return and enjoy our stay every year. Update: stayed again June 19, thru June 22, 2022. Another great stay. Try the laundry service, it's quick and done well. Next day tho so just a short wait.

Comfortable and convenient location. Good water pressure and temperature. Simple breakfast. Clean and ample spaces.

Noisy rooms, aircon didn’t work properly, very (!) unappetizing breakfast.

What a strange place! Not necessarily old, but just so worn out and seemingly unloved.. We booked it because of their swimming pool, but after a few minutes in the greenish and slimy water we regretted going and spending the money on this hotel. The corridors weren't clean.. dust and hair floating around the stairs.. yaiks! And the plates with leftovers in the corridors that were left there, weren't picked up at all during our afternoon, 1 night and 1 morning there! It would be hilarious if it wasn't so sad. The beds were nice, clean and comfortable, but it would've been nice to have something to sit on on the balcony with river view.. I think the staff meant really well, but it just looked like someone put a sign with 'hotel' on a building and decided to take bookings without having a plan. Wouldn't recommend.

Good hotel right on the banks of the Mekong with views to Laos. Good parking, we were on motorbikes and they had a little area next to the security chap for them, rather good I thought. Breakfast buffet, decent dinner quite good as well plus the coffee was top quality. Nice staff, market opposite Saturday afternoon.

The Fortune View Hotel is a building that is getting on in years. Unfortunately, no investments were made to keep the hotel in top shape. It is a nice hotel right on the Mekong River. On the surface, however, the room was not clean the second time around. Unfortunately I noticed for a dozen times in Thailand that the workers are very sloppy and only clean up where you look directly. For a hotel in this price range, the food should be appropriate, but it wasn't. My wife and I were on the go for 3 days with stomach discomfort after eating on the first day. In my opinion the breakfast was also low quality which is a no go for such a hotel. Corona or not and if only we had been there as guests, a hotel of this price class should be at the top level, which unfortunately was not. Old style hotel, old style breakfast menu, limited parking you may park on roadside, use able WiFi, no lift accept main building (what if with large luggage). Good for group tour as I found different groups in 3days. Room was okay after I requested changed building.

Nice river view, good service, rooms little bit outdated. Nice pool area but the pool bottom looked like it never been cleaned, black dirt. Far away from any 7-eleven and no snacks for sale nearby.
