Good quality far a good price - spacious, clean, double room with good bathroom, AC and separate entrance for 80k kip. Quiet neighbourhood (finally no roosters around!), about 1,4 km from waterfront.

Room was filthy, dirty walls, condom packets behind headboard and under bed, with a disgusting blood stained duvet with no covers and makeup on the pillows. Many aggressive mosquitos coming through window cracks. Loud barking dogs all night (Far beyond what is normal Laos) Luckily I had a liner, deet, earplugs and only stayed the one night. Can see the bones of a once really nice place. Those days are long gone.

I paid 10 dollars, is a quiet place, the WiFi is good, no breakfast, no near vegetarian restaurants, the room are quiet clean, is near a big lake and a Buddhist temple. In term is just to be one night before continuing the trip.

Empty parking lot, but they claim they are out of the fan rooms that they advertise as available on booking sites. Only more expensive air con room offered. Smells fishy to me.

Quiet neighbourhood. There's a soup shop nearby or restaurants just around the corner on the main street. It's not in the centre of town, so it's not expensive. The guy in charge speaks English well.

Good accomodation, hot water, wifi, towels, friendly, 80000 kip per room.

This is about as good as it gets in Thakhek. The people were quite friendly and the price is more reasonable than other guesthouses.
