Very nice open market with vintage designs and air-conditioned corridors. Some areas are completely closed ceiling and you can feel the breeze but other areas are semi open with shades and you can feel the hot and humid weather. There are some shops open with the majority of the crowd in Shiwatir sweet market located at the end of the main corridor. Its worth the visit and the best time to visit is wintertime.

The atmosphere is very nice. The sections is well divide into food, electronic, handicrafts, saloon, garments, meat, seafood. Still alot to open. There is 24 hours grocery store and a well served gas station.

Modern & Ancint place reflect spirit of Bahrain. Clean shops mainly deserts @ clothes. Many are not opened.

Souq Al Baraha represents the traditional old markets. It is a beautiful and visually pleasing place. The market is open-air, so it's best to visit during the winter. It has many shops, including clothing, sweets, a bookstore, accessories, and more. Parking is available. The place is beautiful, clean, and very well-organized. I highly recommend visiting it.

Nice during good weather, they do have outdoor AC systems installed but I doubt they would be helpful during summer months, might help a little I guess. Nice local shops but I hated the fact that there was a starxxx cafe there so try to avoid it! Loved the mosque simple and neat. Great for families.

Needs more shops and higher quality clothes for women, most of the jalabia’s were average at best. But love the open areas with AC is refreshing in the summer heat, Cool traditional design. Worth a visit.

Its a local place if you are looking for authentic arabic perfumes, dress and artifacts.

Quite a nice place. It's like an Open Market but also has Air Conditioning. Plenty of stores varying from perfumes, carpets, cafes, jewellery, clothing etc. Also has lot of parking space with 24hr convenient store. Got Masjids as well. Nice place to come even for walking.

A Bahrain visitor should definitely visit this place even though it is not fully operational now. Keep in mind that this Souq is about 5 min away from Dragon and Thai marts. It has now mainly cafes and sweet shops and a grocery store. Few other shops like perfumes and sented wood (oud and whatnot). The internal design is distinctive as it tries to mimic the design of historic Bahrain shops and markets. I saw long lines at Shuwaiter Express which sold among othrr things Halwa Saj bread which is offered at 1BD. Not sure if it is worth waiting in thelong line. There is one store that I recommend based on my experience which is Ali Halwanji. Fine Shami ice cream topped off with flavored " Sameed" at prices rounded off to be around 2-4 BD

I loved the place, too bad I visited it in summer and I am sure it will be an amazing tourist attraction when the weather gets better.. there is a playground area and arcade for kids, food trucks, couple of restaurants and good outlets selling amazing traditional Bahrain products.. waiting for more shops to open there 😃 too bad the line for Shwaiter Delights was long to try their trendy Regag with Halwa!

Beautiful Souq with plenty of parking spaces. You can enjoy Supermarket, Meat Market, Vegetables and Fruit Market all in one roof. The Souq also has a variety of coffee shops, small restaurants ( crepes, Burgers, fries, Ice Cream) ,
