Not the most classy for sure, but why go to the lulus, carrefours, or any of the other greedy supermarkets that basically used every vat increase ( which by the way the customer is paying fully ) to increase the prices of everything, even though they shouldn't as the customer will be required to pay the added percentage in addition to their bill. But not only that, they even increased the prices for items that are not subject to VAT. Just pure greed. Especially Al Jazerra and Carrefour, with many of the non-VAT items increased in price by more than 50%. Never saw anything like that from Ramez or Al Helli. If you want to shop in Bahrain, these two are the best supermarkets in terms of variety and price.

They have to set up a cash counter in Butchery section. So that people can pay the money in that counter in case Ramez management wants to pay the invoice in advance for cleaning/cutting the chicken . Present procedure is time consuming and not at all customer friendly.
