Breakfast - very varied menu. Traditional cuisine. Very tasty dishes, nicely presented, delicious karak! A wonderful, atmospheric restaurant! As for dinner, it was nothing special. A vegetarian friend had a problem choosing something from the menu. She finally got the soup. A restaurant located in such a beautiful place, with such a beautiful decor should attract crowds. And it is not. The restaurant is good but at these prices there are other places to eat just as good if not better. To improve the menu and service usability.

Food is amazing and authentic. But the service could be improved, reception staff was unwelcoming.

Strolling through the lovely park, Freej bin Rasshdan promises a taste of Bahraini tradition with its canalside setting. Parking's plentiful, so that's a plus. But step inside, and the "authentic" vibe feels more like a costume drama set. Plastic flowers scream "faux-tradition" louder than any oud music, and the decor piles it on a bit thick. The food? Sadly, it doesn't fare much better. Nothing on our table truly sparked excitement. Every dish felt generic, a touristy echo of Bahraini flavors rather than the real deal. Sure, the service was friendly (even when they forgot one of our orders, oops!), but that alone can't save the day. Look, for a quick snap to send back home, Freej might tickle the fancy. After all, the views are undeniably pretty. But if you're seeking genuine Bahraini flavors, let this one be a scenic pit stop, not your culinary destination. This island's bursting with authentic gems – no need to settle for plastic palms and forgettable bites.

A great place to eat, lovely staff and at amazing prices. The food was fresh and very tasty with an awesome atmosphere. I will be heading back there soon , 😁😁

Freej Bin Rashdan, located in Arad Park, offers traditional Bahraini food. It’s conveniently close to the airport so it’s worth a visit if you have a layover or on your way to/from. The food is affordable with a diverse menu. Depending on where you are sitting, the views of the Arad Lagoon can be quite lovely during your meal. I ordered the keema, foul, and some fried eggs. The bread that came with it was warm and soft fresh from the oven.

It was a first visit. The food was good. The staff was polite. The atmosphere is fine. They have one photogenic place. The ambience is traditional arabic styled. Overall it was good.

Amazing ambiance 🤩 both outdoor and indoor dinning available. Ordered mixed cold & hot appetizers whereas from main course chicken machboos and full grill chicken. Overall the quantity of the food was good with reasonable price.

Beautiful internal design and arrangement. It is located at Arad Park. Acceptable prices Unfortunately you cannot see anything through the glass of the restaurant at night. Maybe a daytime view can be better. Food is good. Menu items are variants but several of them were not available. The waitress was attentive and was eager to serve even though our dessert items were delayed and kept us waiting until they informed us that one item was not available Overall it was a good experience

Good view and decor Service was not good, delay in serving orders, the waitress waited for us to clear the table so she would put down the dishes. Difficulty getting the waitress attention. Burnt fish. Overall, nice traditional atmosphere and view of the sea, service and fish quality was lacking. Once was enough for me.

Thursday Noisy Breakfast Positives: Location (acceptable to get there). Available car parking. Traditional dining tables. Delicious Delicious Areas of Improvement: Crowded. Disorganized disorganized tables. Old overused carpets and furniture. Overpriced. It takes long time to see the waiters to take your orders and provide them.

Sea view. Excellent service. Delicious food. Shai karak, is not karak. Taste like shai haleeb. It is strongly recommended.

If you want traditional Bahraini food, this is the spot. It’s conveniently close to the airport so it’s worth a visit if you have a layover. Food is very affordable, diverse recipe, though a bit fatty and oily. Portions are generous and it’s great for sharing. The views are nice with a part being in a park and another on the sea. Staff are polite and environment is very old school Arabic setting. We tried the hummus, Bahraini kebab, and madhrob. Food was good and the Bahraini spices are quite strong so be cautious if you’re not used to middle eastern flavors.

الأكل لذييييذ جدًا وبالأخص مهياوا بالجبن شي مو طبيعي🤤 المكان موقعه جميل وكبير لكن فيه ريحة سيئة يمكن مع الحر تطلع لكن لازم يحلونها

So three of us went there for lunch on Friday, and the outdoor area was completely booked. So we took a seat near the restaurant's entrance and placed our order. We then noticed people leaving from the outdoor area and politely asked the owner, who was present at the reception area, if we could move outside. He was extremely rude to us and said that if you want a table outside, you have to go outside the restaurant and wait for your turn, even though there was no one waiting. We were taken aback by his reaction and considered going away, but we were hungry and had come from Riffa to eat and did not want to simply leave. We ordered the Chicken Machboos, Green Rice with Creamy Chicken, and Beef Margoog, which we washed down with some Fresh Juice and Tea. The chicken Machboos was an okay dish that cost BD2.500, the beef margoog tasted well with some wonderful tastes priced at BD2.500, and the standout dish was the Green Rice with Creamy Chicken, which cost BD3.500.

I was here today and I was surprised at their attitudes! They have sent me a birthday gift with no instruction in how to redeem so at checkout I showd the email.  Their answer was "you should show your voucher before you order because it is only for chicken dishes) which is also not mentioned in the email. And they don't even apologise for their miscommunication and mistreatment. They invites you oversometing and they will do their best to cancel the invitation. Even though the food is good and the service is fine but this experience makes me decide not to visit again

View is nice , location is far , food is average , service is bad , I got simple problem with food and management response was not good and not professional, you must pay to enter the park and park to reach the restaurant , will not come again !!!

It’s going to be my last visit to this place The food was normal taste not interesting The service was slow and the staff behavior is bad They charge me for something I didn’t order it They charged me about ((500 fils)) !! for a cup of hot water 😐 I ask the waiter why is that🤔 He reply’s for a cup of tea with mint which I didn’t order or drink it 😑 Where i can take from any coffee shop in the world as a complimentary cup of still water with my food ☕️ Shame on you 👎🏻

My experience here was lovely. Starting with the beautiful view next to the lake. The food was traditional and clean. I tried the chicken liver and it was yummy no weird taste at all . Fool was so yummy I loved it I can come again just to order it . Cheese omelet was perfectly done .Teapot with milk was good. Also their is a near by playground for kids. Just I wished the service is little more faster and all food come together at one time. otherwise ,Defiantly I recommend this place. and I’m visiting it again soon
