Right around the corner from where I live, loads to do at this location between St Bridgets place and Park View with a view of the train track. Portlaoise leisure centre has a cafe playground, astroturf, swimming pool, gym, a football field onsite and walking track around the perimeter. On this occasion we went swimming and there was less than 1 hour remaining till closing time so I got a little discount and was charged €9 for an adult and a child which was very good.

Currently the place is good and clean the swimming pool is good subject to the conditions of cleanliness and safety the staff is good from Monitoring of swimming pools and organization of entry and time by reception entry in the form of organized groups I loved this system, I loved the commitment to swimwear, from hat to clothes, I loved the entry of families and children from the age of 3 months. There are also swimming courses for children for 7 continuous days at 50 minutes I advise all go to him treated by the reception staff and the staff of all of them very upscale subscription prices are good for adults 7.50 euros and children 3 euros I expect the prices are suitable and good for all the swimming pool very enjoyable I recommend an experience Also there is a sports hall and a steam bath the most important thing is that the place is clean and well treated thank you the management of the place Adult games need more attention I hope that work is done on this

Lovely outdoor area, playground, sports area. A great indoor pool and reasonable prices for lessons or access. Nice waiting are inside as well. Great for family time too.

This is a great facility to have on our doorstep and I really want to say something good but the place is ansolutly filthy dirty and run into the ground. The showers in the male changing rooms are so bad I can't find words to discribe how dirty they are. Many machines in the gym have been out of order for weeks, most of the lockers are broken, missing keys or dirty inside, there are broken tiles in the pool showers and bathrooms, under the seats In the sauna are full of dirt, the excersise mats in the gym are all ripped and stained, the air con is never on in the gym so it's about 25c most of the time when you work out.. I could go on and on, I really hope something is put in place to sort all of this as it's a facility we would love to use more if it was just cleaned and maintained!

Super cool place. Nice walking yards. Swimming pool. Football grounds can play different teams at the same time. Cricket ground. Children's play area. Family time. It's always good to be here with kids and also with friends to play some games. Parking spaces are available.

Pool, gym, football grounds and kids play areas all clean and tidy. Safe for family. Recommended

Very child friendly. Lifeguards are big on safety but not too strict. A swim lane blocked off at all times for anyone who wants to do a few lengths in the 25mtr pool.

The pool and area are nice and warm, pool a little busy on the Sundays I was there. Plenty of changing rooms and lockers available. The changing rooms floors have been very dirty on the days I’ve been there, bring sliders. Sauna and steam rooms available in the pool area, both working very well, steam room is very good. Large car park with plenty of parking. Reasonably priced.

Staff are lovely great to have the pool open again excellent value for kids swims

Portlaoise leisure center park is a must-visit for families. The walking trails are beautiful, and the play areas are well-maintained. We'll definitely be back. Highly recommended.

Just ok, not the cleanest place, lake of maintenance ( only 2 hair dryier working since last march) but nice staff....

Pool staff a nice and friendly. The swimming pools are in good condition. Changing rooms were reasonably clean, the shower area could do with a deep clean. The life guards were alert. Good local facility.
