I am absolutely disgusted in the way in which me and other people in this bar was treated. Owner was highly intoxicated. Wouldn't let people in the bar play there songs. He also wouldn't let anyone play pool and there was a group of people who he went up to while they were going to play pool and pocketed all there balls on the pool table. He then proceeded to shout at staff for plastic cups and then turned around to shout at customers who had full drinks to leave including myself. Some of the staff were rude also. The toilet were very dirty and looked like they hadn't been cleaned in months. I would not recommend this pub to anyone ever as nobody deserves to be spoken to in the manner that the owner spoke to us and customer.

Brilliant pub in the heart of monaghan. Busy spot with plenty of live music and a great supporter of local and up and coming bands. Bit of a young crowd though you can see older crowd there also. Love this pub

We come here a lot and have always enjoyed the lively scene. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for jolly evening.

Came over for the Harvest Time blues festival. Canadian blues rocker Anthony Gomes and his band hosted a great jam here. Great atmosphere and service. And such a friendly town.

With excellent outdoor staging and an upstairs party room is also available - home to the best bands - open mic sessions- This bar has a strong Blues influence & Light Rock-Most of Ireland's top bands get their first break here. 80s & 90s are also the order of the day.with top DJ's. Helpful friendly staff and a professionally managed venue ran by Seamie Óg Mc Kenna.

Great wee spot.

Recently attended several Blues sessions here. Having converted their outside yard, there is great space, and seating, to enjoy the show. Well done Seamus and crew.

Great spot for music. Maybe not the best place for chatting. Still very lively which the town needs.

Poor service. I found the staff to be underwhelming and did not cater to the customers needs. Lovely setting and wonderful outdoor area so not all bad
