Great restaurant, just came in on a chance and reading reviews and the staff and food were top class. Highly recommended!

The most delicious dinner ever!!!! The fish and chips AMAZING!!!! The mushroom appetizer was delicious!! We also had a steak and burger so good the creamy peppercorn sauce was great. All the servers where so nice and helpful. The beer was from a local brewery what a great oatmeal stout. The bathrooms where so clean.

They make their own gin which you can try and buy there at the restaurant. There's also non-alcoholic options. The service was nice, food and drinks okay. It's an interesting place, I'd recommend a visit if you're in Monaghan.

fáilte!!! We called in for lunch to Andy's in Monaghan, the staff are very friendly, bar was very clean and had a nice friendly relaxing atmosphere. My girlfriend and i ordered two meal's and two desert's, portion sizes are a good size, food came out promptly and was delicious. Cosy setting. Had a great alcohol free selection, which i had a gin and my girlfriend had n cider. Toilets are well kept and clean. go raibh maith agat, slán

Had the fish and chips good but missed the peas. My wife had chicken goujons and chips dish was lacking some sort of garnish but was tasty.

Absolutely fantastic food served by friendly, genuinely lovely staff.

Went on Sunday with family 4 kids and 2 adults. Had a cracking starter Chicken Vul a vunts and then Pepper Chicken garlic chips and regular chips. The entire meal was unbelievable and great sized portions. Best food I have had in the country in a long long time. Service was good especially the young guy working upstairs by himself, very helpful polite lad and had the service running smoothly. Great effort all round, AMAZING FOOD

I have lived in Monaghan for 6 years and today was my first time eating here. Staff were friendly and polite and knowledgeable about the dishes. They were accommodating to each individual’s requirements. The food was lovely and really generous portion sizes. All of us were well fed and no rushing from the staff really relaxed and enjoyable experience. We will 100% be back again in the coming weeks.

At a Whiskey tasting there last night, hosted by Kevin and the Andy's crew. They couldn't have done enough for the 50+ of us who were there. Many thanks guys.

We stopped into Andys on way to Donegal and were so impressed that we stopped there on the way back too. Lovely ornate, carpeted, traditional long bar with booths for privacy. Very clean, prompt but unrushed service and great food at very acceptable prices. Kevin invited us to sample his wonderful home produced award winning gin cocktails which were well worth their National Second Prize. We'll be back.

Staff are so friendly and accommodating. Food is excellent. Highly recommend the chicken Monaghan.

Well what can I say about Andys it was the best ford I have had in the three days while I was in Ireland the staff were fantastic nothing was too much trouble for them they made our time with them so special will definitely be going back the next time we are in Monaghan all the best for the future keep up the great work 👍
