Good initiative by the Government with the help of world bank but the present condition of dam is not better. No caretaker , grass all around, surrounding so bad , overall it needs the government eye to look after..no electricity , polls are there but lack of care all wastage of money ..

The place is quite unknown to the world, one of my colleague gives me the route and suggested me to visit there to have a fantastic sunrise moment. As a photographer, I am keen to search for this type of place. The sound of water, the birds chirping, the morning cold breeze of air, the orange tint at horizon and then the entry of the Sun creates an amazing and never forgettable moment. I suggest everyone who lives nearby Hoshiarpur district to have a visit to get a view of sunrise from here.

It's a very good place to spend some time with nature here you can feel peace of mind it's very near to a major city Jalandhar we cannot find places like this very near

One of best place for family picnic, get-together with friends. But if you are going with kids. You have to be watchful for them that's why I gave 3 stars. If it's group of adults and just want to enjoy peace and fresh air, on foothills of Shivalik mountain range... Then u can explore this place. Note: Do t leave your kids unattended. Don't try to swim in dam waters.

This dam is closed as for now, not allowing to enter the place, I visited on 5.02.2021, no fun of going there, rather go to dolbaha or janori
