This is a very nice place for relaxed stay. The property is about 4-5 Kms from Kandaghat town towards Shimla on the highway. So hardly any pollution. Service is top-notch. Food quality is also good. Its a very green campus and that's the beauty of this place. Excellent for walks and photography. Some of the rooms are such that you have to climb at least 50 stairs to access them. However, on the plus side, the view from their windows is great. Anyone having difficulty in climbing stairs should inform the resort people much before coming here so that they can book rooms accordingly.

It was a wonderful experience to stay at Club Mahindra Kandaghat..staff was very cooperative caring and friendly....in the previous post there was a mistake of human error as I haven't completed rating and finger touched the post caption....so I really sorry for that.... again a lot of thanks for everything.... will like to visit again....

Excellent resort..But all other places to visit are at 2hours drive from here.. If u plan to spend time in resort..Go for it..

This property is in a scenic location. We booked through Priceline and it was prepaid. However, when we arrived at the property, they said there were no rooms. We waited for 2 hours before being allocated one. The room slotted was far away from the restaurant and it was tough for us to manage the walk with two small kids. We got around 5 sales calls in a span of 2 days, to go for membership. The laundry service was good. Food price was exorbitant, although the spread wasn’t anything like a 5 star. Check in and check out process took a lot of time . Did not like the way that non members are treated.

Most pathetic property... Except greenery and location rest everything thing is worst... We faced so many issues... from check in to dinner... We requested for early check in but they issued us rooms after 2pm...room service was very poor.. Most expensive hotel... We have been charged 23000 for buffet dinner which was tasteless and useless... No one was ready to listen... Menu was nothing as compare to pricing. And icing on the cake is electricity problem in room... Overall its a 3rd class property.

Beautiful property. The staff was super friendly and very very helpful. They were very welcoming. They offer nice indoor and outdoor activities like zip lining, zorbing, trekking, and a happy hub with all the indoor games. The spa services were excellent. And the food was delicious as well. We had a great time. 5/5 would recommend. 😊

Amazing place! Worth a visit! Do get engaged into some club activities which are paid but amazing! The view is another reason why I fell in love with this place. All plus(Rooms,food staff so on everything is awesome) And I'm fortunate I spent a memorable trip with my family here.

Located on NH, the property is a great retreat for people planning a sojourn in the hills. It offers e-cycles and other multifarious activities for club members. There is a special arena dedicated for kids. Non-members have to pay an entry fee of Rs. 200/- per person which gets adjusted in the activities/ restaurant food one partakes . The food is good and Covid protocol is followed to the T. It's nearby Shimla and Solan so if you happen to visit any of the two, the place can be added to your check list.

Awesome view and location. If you want to relax and want peace the must visit this place. 25-30 km before Shimla. Mind blowing resorts specially in monsoon as clouds will cover entire area and you’ll be in clouds. Food is good but expensive so plan accordingly.

Rooms in the main block are very good. Other rooms are too far from the reception and restaurant. Beautiful, green property with good views of the hills. Food is good. Staff is friendly. Good activities like early morning yoga and trekking. Overall a good experience

After staying at pristine peaks naldhera you will definitely be disappointed if u come here... This resort is much more beautiful greener then pristine peaks naldhera but rooms were in very very rundown condition and disappointing. Food was good personal care was also too good their head chef Mr Thapa used to take personal care of the guests and with children u do need some off the menu food which he used to organise it happily. While leaving the property also he arranged food packets for us as we had a long journey of almost 12hrs which was a very sweet gesture. The property has many small small lawns at different different levels so none of the guests can miss out on the beauty part of the property. It's hugely spread out place. They had Ravan Dahan play also on Dussehra and morning during breakfast time the stewards danced to a beautiful song involving the guests.

Beautiful location and humble staff serving the guests who spend their vacations at this resort. The only downside is that there are about 100 steps to reach the studio rooms. Hotel units are located right across the restaurant but going to the studio room from the reception/restaurant is very tiring.

Beautiful property and huge. Very good cuisine. Loved the room with lots of windows. Spent 3 nights there and was rejuvenated. After years, fed many sparrows there.

One of the Best property near Shimla. If you are looking for weekend gateway to stay in calm place. The rates are on little higher side as this is rated 5 star property.. Rooms are not of 5 star quality but the location , landscape are surely 5 star.

Stopped here for some coffee and snacks. Location is excellent, right on the highway. The views are breathtaking. A must visit resort for sure. We did not get a chance to try the rooms yet, but it is worthwhile to go just for the view!

This was my third visit to this property of Club Mahindra and i must say the property is well maintained, clean. The rooms comes with a beautiful valley views. The property is full of well maintained flora and fauna. The staff is quite courteous .The food is also really great here. Overall out stay here was quite comfortable and blissful..A must visit property for a short vacation!!👍🏻

This beautiful resort is a must visit property. Easily approachable on the main road from Chandigarh to Shimla it’s extremely welcoming with its perfectly manicured lawns and beautiful buildings and pathways. The maintenance of property is top notch. The food, room service is also good. Guests are kept occupied with various activities in the dedicated area for recreation.The weather was amazing when I visited this place with family and we really enjoyed ourselves.

Very nice resort to stay, location is also very good. So many small functions are conducted there, they are very amazing. Food is bit expensive, Overall liked it.

Bad: 1. This is not good for small kids(age less than 1yr.) and for sr. citizens. 2. Rooms are very-2 far from the lunch/dinner area, it took 20 min by walk on one side (40min to and fro), so many stairs and steep roads for walking, you may feel fatigued instead of relaxing with small kids, so please avoid with small kids. 3. We have 2 families and both have small kids (age 6 months), it was very terrible to walk so much every day with kids for breakfast and dinner. 4. We have informed to Reception area to provide the rooms as we have kids very-2 small, and the lady at reception had ignored our concern, they had the immature staff at the reception. 5. We ordered the dental kit in the morning and received it in the evening once we come back from our one day tour, the room service team is lazy actually. 6. The major problem for the CM Kandaghat, there is no one leading person with whom we can track the customer problems. 7. Need to improve on the Reception staff, it should be more mature in understanding the customer need. I had asked to drop at room in the night by car service, it took 20 min to wait for e-car and finally no response, finally we went to a room by walk at night with the kids. Looks like we have done a mistake to pick this hotel, which did not have any concern about customer pain. 8. We have ordered the milk powders with multiple reminders. Some memorable moments as also there. 1. Very -2 Good: The Play area of the Club Mahindra Kandaghat was excellent and the complete play zone team, Miss. Kusum did great good and the whole staff at the play zone 2. Couple Photo zone: This was fantastic work done, provided one pic to us. 3. Anniversary: They have provided the cake as a surprise to us. thanks to the team who take care of these areas.

One of the best resorts in the Club Mahindra portfolio. Stunning views of the valley. Good food options at reasonable prices... there are a couple of good restaurants. Easily accessible ... the resort is just off the highway to Shimla. Adventure activities also available. The activity center has something for the entire family.

Lovely place right in the middle of the hills. Awesome view, specially in the mornings. Amazing landscape. Good staff, specially the head chef Ashley was very helpful with my fussy children. That was a great help. Breakfast is delicious, with a lot of variety. Rooms are good, clean, luxurious. The overall hotel gives a homely feeling. Only drawback is there are’nt much sightseeing places closeby due to the hotel’s location. Otherwise everything else is 10/10. Rommended for those who would like to just come and stay in the middle of the hills and enjoy nature.

Pathetic property to stay. Such rude managerial staff. They just Don’t have basic manners of how to treat families with small children. Room service was also very lousy and staff is super arrogant and casual in their approach when it comes to attending visitors. Purely on the basis of staff rude and unprofessional behaviour I will not recommend this property to anyone.

No doubt about the place its peacefull but not happy with club Mahindra membership . Statement gets changed every single day . No one takes the responsibility to clear things . I will not suggest to take Mahindra membership . No issue with the kandaghat resort at all. Now please do not ask for any membership number or any other deatils .

Very dedicated staff at front desk. Eager to inform you of the checkout time so that you don't miss it even by chance. Excellent F&B department. Spacious rooms, good and tidy arrangments. Some how disappointed as promotions and other activities which I had heard of were not available due to Covid Scare.

Absolutely wonderful place. Amazing 👏people, I mean staff....super place to cool off your stresses. Independence day celebrations was a big bonanza. The staff represented an awesome performance of songs and dance. I love this place.

This is the best place to enjoy . All kinds of facilities are there for kids and all other age group of tourists. The location of resort is best one. It is far far away from pollution. This resort is full of greenary, very clean, good plantation.Good management of restaurant. Especially, food was very tasty. The whole staff was well mannered. Their behviour was very good. They deserve good appreciation. Rooms were also very clean.

Wonderful property, amazing weather (4-7 Sep, 2021). Perfect place to relax and chill with friends and family. Zip line was exciting for the kids. Wouldn't mind a repeat in the future.

No doubt property is good . But the food is totally bad.They charged a lot instead the food is very much small in quantity.Two small idlis,two mini vadas.one banana and one small utappama and tasteless sambhar.They charged 850.

Good property...but a little old infra...the service is nice....some blocks are too far away from main entrance and activity area....good for those who wanted to spend some alone time.... The one thing that can be improved is pre-booking of specific rooms incase if someone needs it else it can ruin a complete holiday if you don't get a good room... Thanks God that we got a good room...the one we needed. Very nice place for kids....as it has a huge activity area and very affordable if you are planning a long holiday.... Internet is a bit of issue but manageable...

Amazing property with the best of views possible. Breakfast buffet is nice and their south Indian food is really good. Too many view points inside the property where one can enjoy the beauty of nature. Amazing place if you love walking but it's a bit difficult for elderlies as you have to climb lot of stairs to reach the main area from your room. Loved this property and would definitely come here again

Well maintained property on main highway to Shimla with ample parking.Clean and spacious rooms with pristine valley view. Washrooms are clean and well designed. Rooms are equipped with Microwave, juice maker and electric cattle. Activity area for kids that has both free and paid games.

Simply beautiful! Well tended garden ,huge campus, very beautiful and green and picturesque place. We were in Studio, but it need some tending the room needed airing and balcony chair where wet ,a cup in kitchenette was broken .

Sprawling resort winding around the hills . Located just on the NH, there is nothing j nearby except one or two dhabas. It is very easy to find but the road is blocked near the resort which is why google maps made us travel an extra 3 km and brought us back on the same road . Rooms are located on the hills so there is a lot of steps and roads between each building and the reception/restaurant/happy hub. Be prepared for a long walk to your rooms . But they do provide a cab service to pick you from the room. Happy hub has a lot of activities . The zip line was fun . Breakfast buffet is good but otherwise food is overpriced . The rooms and bathrooms are very spacious and well designed . Room has indoor heaters and geysers for hot water . The view of the hills all around the resort is breathtaking .

A very approachable destination. As I've heard , I'll share with you. My friend has taken their membership and is extremely happy. They have their resorts in all prime locations. This destination is a 26 acre widespread with close to occupancy of 100 people. They have a beautiful reception and then they have rooms spread across their area. They have a tour plan everyday which is different, so that the guests can just enjoy as per their convenience. They had traditional dance performance in which you can also participate, they have a game hall with games for kids as well as elders. For members its an easy task to book but for non members its a task🤪. Go ahead and take a look.

This was my second visit to this property of Club Mahindra and i must say the property is well maintained,super clean and even more greener than the last time. The resort is spread across many acres in the mid of lush green mountains. You will enjoy the peace, terrain and the surrounding. 1. The rooms were located on the third floor and there was no lift. Also, the rooms are very far from the restaurant and the reception. 2. This makes the service and response very slow. 3. Food is expensive here, go for combo meals or the full package. 4. To and fro from the rooms to restaurant takes a lot of time while you are waiting for the cab to arrive. I hope they find a better solution for this. 5. Restaurants are good.

Location is excellent. One of the best properties of Club Mahindra. Very well maintained. People at resort are very courteous and helpful. The fun zone is great, the people at fun zone is very enthusiastic and they make all guests busy in very good fun activities and entertainment during evening buffet dinner at lawns.. The spa and massage treatment is very nice as well. The food needs bit more improvement wrt taste.. Overall very good experience !!

It's a gorgeous resort nestled in the hills with a good view of the hills around. It also has a lawn to host parties or celebrations. The resort is spread across a massive space so if you skip the vehicle provided by the resort to transport you from one point to another, you are in for a lot of walking. It's undoubtedly a pretty resort with a lot of flora and fauna around you. It's peaceful, it's beautiful, and extremely good for your health because you will end up walking a lot to go from your rooms to the lobby and back. Rooms are fairly spacious with balconies in certain cases. There are a lot of gardens where you can sit and relax. A massive lawn will greet you on your entry where the resort hosts occasional functions. Food is good but expensive, you can alternatively try the Apna Dhaba which is at a walking distance outside the resort.
