I
lived
at
Kinect
for
a
year,
and
simply
cannot
recommend
enough
that
you
search
elsewhere
for
an
apartment.
The
staff
claims
to
be
available
to
you
to
fix
issues,
but
when
I
brought
up
issues
to
staff
I
would
always
get
the
"oh
that's
too
bad,
we'll
send
out
a
memo"
response
(and
never
was
any
sort
of
memo
sent
out).
This
included
issues
like
my
car
being
broken
into,
packages
not
being
secured
inside
the
package
lockers
and
stolen,
trash
in
hallways,
stairwells,
elevators,
and
on
the
floor
in
the
garbage
room.
I
was
also
paying
over
$100/month
for
secured
parking
AND
$35/month
for
security.
Despite
this,
my
car
was
broken
into,
the
gate
to
the
garage
was
broken
for
over
3
months
before
I
moved
out
without
added
security
for
2.5
months,
and
within
a
week
of
moving
out,
I
noticed
on
my
daily
commute
which
happens
to
go
past
the
building,
that
the
gate
was
broken
again
(it
had
been
fixed
for
less
than
a
month).
It
has
been
4
months
since
I
moved
out
and
I've
noticed
it
still
hasn't
been
fixed.
It
might
not
be
so
incredibly
frustrating
to
tenants
if
the
property
managers
had
done
more
to
ensure
the
security
we
paid
for,
reduced
fees
for
secured
parking,
or
responded
to
feedback
in
ways
other
than
"there's
nothing
we
can
do
about
it"
(when
they
did
respond).
Instead
I
would
drive
past
homeless
people
in
the
"secured"
garage
smoking
meth
on
my
way
to
work
in
the
morning.
Inside
my
apartment
was
not
any
better.
It
was
built
cheaply.
I
was
the
first
person
to
live
there,
and
baseboards
were
not
secured
and
could
be
easily
displaced
by
my
7lb
cat,
the
fronts
of
drawers
were
only
secured
with
a
small
amount
of
cheap
wood
glue
and
would
fall
off,
the
shower
head
was
not
installed
properly
and
leaked
(which
I
put
in
multiple
work
orders
for)
and
destroyed
the
wall
due
to
lack
of
action
from
management.
When
they
did
respond
to
my
work
orders,
maintenance
would
show
up
and
let
themselves
in
without
notice.
They
were
"covered"
by
the
electronic
work
order
saying
that
they
could
access
the
apartment
anytime
after
it
was
submitted,
but
you
did
not
have
the
option
to
change
this
prior
to
submitting
a
work
order,
violating
basic
tenant
rights.
I
could
continue
on
for
significantly
longer,
but
this
small
list
of
complaints
(compared
to
my
very
long
list
of
grievances)
should
be
more
than
enough
to
signal
to
anyone
that
this
is
not
a
good
place
to
live.
