As
compared
to
other
hotels,
Nirmalya
Grand
is
a
new
construction
hence
everything
in
this
hotel
looks
fresh.
The
staff
is
very
cooperative,
helpful,
understanding
and
professional
at
the
same
time.
However,
when
it
comes
to
rooms,
I
will
still
say
that
it's
really
good
in
terms
of
value
for
money.
I
am
giving
it
a
3
star
for
reasons
that
I
will
explain
here.
I
found
that
owners
are
lacking
when
it
comes
to
maintaining
the
hotel.
The
floor
of
the
room
in
which
I
stayed
was
not
cleaned
properly.
The
flooring
is
of
good
quality
vitrified
tiles
but
someone
needs
to
clean
it
properly.
Commode
in
the
bathroom
too
is
of
very
good
quality
and
of
good
brand
but
there
were
permanent
cement
and
wall
color
marks
inside
the
commode.
They[the
owner]
need
to
take
care
of
their
investment/property
by
well
maintaining
their
property
on
timely
basis
so
that
their
property
will
give
returns
on
investment
for
longer
period
of
time.
If
they
can
keep
everything
neat
and
tidy
in
the
expensive
rooms
then
what
is
stopping
them
from
keeping
the
same
level
of
cleanliness
in
the
lower
budget
rooms
I
don't
understand.
There
is
no
logical
and
sensible
reasons
behind
not
maintaining
the
low
budget
rooms
from
an
owners
point
of
view.
Now
let's
talk
about
the
design
of
rooms.
There
are
several
design
flaws.
1.
I
don't
know
why
there
is
no
power
socket
beside
the
bed
for
charging
phones
or
for
laptops.
The
only
power
socket
that
is
available
for
the
customer
to
use
is
placed
high
on
the
wall
beneath
the
television
set.
You
can
either
charge
your
phone
or
laptop
but
not
two
devices
at
the
same
time.
You
can't
use
your
device
when
it
is
charging
unless
you
have
minimum
2
meter
long
power
cable.
2.
There
is
no
exhaust
in
the
bathroom.
To
make
things
worse,
bathroom
windows
has
unmovable
louvered
shutters
hence
all
the
mosquitoes
enters
the
bedroom
via
bathroom.
3.
There
is
no
table
beside
the
bed.
The
guest
room
phone
i.e.
In-room
phone
is
kept
on
the
bed.
The
single
bed
has
only
enough
space
to
accommodate
a
normal
sized
human
being.
There
is
no
place
for
the
phone
on
the
bed.
Besides
who
keeps
the
guest
phone
on
the
bed?
To
make
things
worse,
the
phone
wire
is
so
short
that
you
can't
keep
the
guest
phone
on
the
floor
if
you
want
to
sleep
comfortably.
The
only
way
to
sleep
comfortably
is
to
keep
the
guest
phone
hanging
in
the
air.
4.
Since
there
is
no
table
beside
the
bed,
you
will
have
to
keep
the
water
bottle,
spectacles
and
anything
that
you
need
on
the
floor.
The
table
is
there
in
the
room
but
it's
beside
the
bathroom
door
and
it's
fixed
to
the
floor!!!
5.
Couple
of
important
switches
viz.
Light,
ceiling
fan
switch
etc
should
be
beside
the
bed
or
somewhere
where
a
person
can
reach
those
switches
easily.
Here
the
switches
too
are
placed
higher
than
normal.
To
switch
on
the
room's
light
in
the
middle
of
the
night,
you
will
have
to
get
out
of
the
bed
completely
to
reach
the
light
button.
There
are
always
multiple
lights
in
the
room
and
one
light
button
is
always
placed
beside
the
bed.
But
not
in
this
hotel.
There
are
multiple
lights
and
multiple
lights
buttons
but
none
of
those
lights
buttons
are
placed
beside
the
bed.
6.
There
is
no
mirror
in
the
room.
The
only
mirror
that
is
available
is
inside
the
bathroom.
The
size
of
the
bathroom
is
big
as
compared
to
the
very
small
single
bed
bedroom.
So,
there
is
a
pretty
good
place
available
in
the
bathroom
to
place
the
mirror
from
an
user's
comfort
level's
stand
point.
But
the
person
whoever
has
designed
the
rooms
have
decided
to
place
the
mirror
right
next
to
the
bathroom
door
and
at
the
corner
of
the
wall
without
leaving
an
inch
between
the
mirror
and
the
corner
of
the
wall.
7.
The
washbasin
in
the
bathroom
is
the
smallest
washbasin
I
have
ever
seen.
It's
meant
for
babies
and
not
adults.
Moreover
the
washbasin
is
placed
right
next
to
the
bathroom
door
and
at
the
end
of
the
mirror.
So
whenever
you
use
the
washbasin,
splashes
of
water
enters
the
bedroom.
Washbasin
should
be
placed
in
the
middle
of
the
mirror
and
not
at
the
end
of
the
mirror
and
not
at
the
corner
of
the
wall!!!
