We had booked for the hall for a wedding reception and 25 rooms for our guests for 27/12/2022 as early as in April 2022. We had also paid a non-refundable advance deposit requesting to block both the halls and the rooms. But in their receipt they mentioned only just rooms and no number of rooms or the hall. When we pointed out this omission, they confirmed and assured no problem the details are fed in their system and don’t worry. We took their word as an assurance. Last week we checked with them for a re-confirmation and they said, “You have not booked for the hall, but only for the rooms as per the receipt.” They said they could offer the hall only on 26th or 28. If we had trusted them and went there on 27the December, we would not have got the hall. Thank God we checked well in advance.

Worst experience. Being surrounded by good hotels nearby, if this one has to survive they need to do a lot of work. Went for a meeting. The trolley was pulled in making lot of noise during the discussion and meeting. Need to invest in some common sense! Then the bathroom had no handwash. We asked to refill it they told they will bring it right away but they didn't. We had to borrow from the next door. When I went back to look if they have refilled it or not, they haven't even after 1hr or more. Hand drier is not working as well. The A/C was not on until we told them. Such a bad customer service. This hotel won't survive if they are like this. And the hall was full of smoking smell even when there was a board 'No smoking '. Won't blame that on the hotel but the people! Will try my best not to come again. Hope the hotel make changes according to the current scenario or else this hotel is done for.

Good ambience and good food with halls for functions. One major drawback was the parking space, which is sort of corrected now with the newly extended parking section adjoining Sun Hospitals. (Old Trichur Heart Hospital). But it's not well lighted.

Very good ambiance well furnished and neat meeting halls. Food was amazing.very near to sakthan thamburan busstand and near to railway, lift for shifting demo materials are allowed. Very spacious parking area , bar was also there. Mostly all rooms are occupied always

One of the worst hotels we have stayed in so far. Went for an official purpose to trissur and this hotel was booked by the company. Services were so poor. They served old stock food. We ordered a chicken lollipop and hardly took a bite of it. It literally tasted as if they had served the dish which was prepared 3 weeks ago. Dinner was a flop, breakfast was even more of a disaster, we felt like vomiting. Even service provided by reception staff and restaurant staff were so horrible. We were forced to check out the very next day of check in and moved to another hotel. The attitude from staff both at reception and restaurant gave a feeling of the movie named "kanakam kamini kalaham" acted by Grace Antony and Nivin Pauly. When I first saw that movie i thought this has taken for sarcastic purpose but just by staying in Ashoka inn for a day i could relate with so many scenes from that movie.

I recently visited this place for my cousin's wedding event, i had the worst experience from their ' customer service '. Most of my cousins family members were in the uk ,my cousin told me to ask for the wifi password for making a video call and when I asked them for their wifi password for video calling they said they wouldn't allow access to the wifi, I think you don't even deserve a single star rating on Google.

Attended a birthday party... lunch was delicious, all veg options were ordered. Very tasty and enough quantity.. an eventful afternoon.. really enjoyed it .. except the audio system. It was real bad. The announcements were just inaudible. For Hotels of these standards, audio equipment should take enough presedents for organizing an enjoyable get-togethers.

I stayed here for work purpose and checked in around 2:00 am .. the minute we walked in it was so gross because there was this really foul smell in the lobby air which was unbearable and probably it was the stingy old upholstery in the lobby. Nobody to assist with the luggage so had to carry them all by ourselves even though there was a staff nobody even bothered to ask. The room was kind of ok. Quite neat and also no smell thankfully but most of the lights are not working and so are most of the plug points. Would def wont recommend this place to anyone who is actually looking for a pleasant stay.

Located at the centre of the city close to several main sites, including railway station. Well maintained rooms and a good party hall. Food was good as well.

Close to bus stand...got wide scope of being a hotel catering for all. Veg as well as non veg is available. Even buffet is there for nominal price. I enjoyed being there

The location of the hotel is pretty good.Evenif you're travelling from another part of Kerala you can easily reach by bus.Very close to the Shaktan bus stand.The food was good too.

Went for a small family function. It's in the heart of Thrissur Town. Parking is a concern. Bar hotel. Food was good.

Vegetarians are having less food options. Complimentary breakfast is good with variety of items ..still need change of items as same items are being repeated on all days.. Excellent service. Staff are good. Some inconvenience was observed at 4th floor @night times whenever functions are being organised at 5th floor..Need immediate attention..

Went for a function here.there was a decent amount of parking. Also to mention the place is just near the town so it is very accessible. Shakthan bus stand is just near. The service was decent, inside was spacious. Had an elegance of luxury. definitely a good option for b'day/ anniversary functions

Had a great stay. Their complimentary breakfast is superb. I recommend this place. The only complaint I have is lack of wifi. They gave me one which never worked. I hope they work on it.

A hotel with all the usual amenities of a star hotel. The location is very much near Sakthan stand makes iit easily accessible for people coming from outside. Bar is attached. A good enough multi cuisine restaurant works on the first floor and is having moderate charges .

Went in for a small function, Got ample parking space, staff of the hotel is nice. Food was excellent..This was the part that took me by surprise..It was much better than many reputed restaurants in the town.Good facilities and amenities are provided.

The very first time i went here today.. I loved the ambience they set.. I went for attend a marriage reception.. The hall was well arranged and neat.. The stage was simple but awesome.. We had lunch at dew drops inn the next hall near to the reception hall.. The food we ate was excellent.. They served tasty food and good service they provided.. The rooms are spacious and nice. The hotel is located in a very central part of thrissur. But that's how good it gets. The food and the service is very sub standard. The breakfast is not at all palatable and there is no variety. The breakfast items are cold.

Hall was good for program but the food was not so great. There are many good Hotels in Thrissur center and you expect really good food but not up to the mark

Stay and all is good but service is quiet not good. Hot water facility is worst. Rest all is good.
