A must visit.. Please ensure to follow the dress code as is the case in most of the temples in Kerala.. salwar or saree for women and dhoti for men..

This is a very famous temple of Lord Vishnu. It is very old and was under the control of the king in earlier times and hence it is now owned by the Travancore Devaswom Board. This temple is one of the great temples that includes the Chutambala and Nalambala shrines and the flagpole. The weddings are held at the nearby Goshala Krishna Temple. This is also within the perimeter. The idol of Lord Vishnu is located inside the circular shrine. The deity is known as 'Pambanayappan'.

Standing idol of lord Vishnu (pambadayappan), rare Perumal. Different structure, unique, peaceful, calm, quite and auspicious. The Goshala Krishna idol is found from the temple pond.

Located on the way to Chengannoor from Thiruvalla, this temple is one of the 108 Divyadesam and is believed to be consecrated by the fourth Pandava , Nakula. The temple is very ancient and the architecture followed here is typical Kerala style. The Sreekovil follows a rounded two storied architecture . Unlike other temples,no stone payment or pathways are laid inside Nalambalam.

The Thiruvanvandoor Mahavishnu Temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to Vishnu and located in Thiruvanvandoor, Alappuzha District, Kerala, South India. Constructed in the Kerala style of architecture, the temple is glorified in the Nalayira Divya Prabandham, the early medieval Tamil canon of the Alvar saints from the 6th–9th centuries CE. It is one of the 108 Divya Desams dedicated to Vishnu, who is worshipped as Paambanaiappan. The nearest railway station to the temple is located in Chengannur, while the nearest airport is Trivandrum International Airport.

The temple which gives me the utmost level of Shanthi. THE Lord Thiruvanvandoorappan is the one who is there for me always. Here, The main deity is Lord Mahavishnu in the name as Lord Pambanayappan. The verses about the temple also present in Nammalvar's works. So the temple has been there for centuries. The main deity has three poojas here in three different forms. At morning the Lord as Mahavishnu, Kamalanathan at noon and Pambanayappan at night. Keshaadipadam, Pambanayappan pooja are the famous vazhipadu here🙏
