Booked this hotel in January of this year for our trip towards the end of April (last week). Arrived into what was a foreign country for us and was immediately met with rude response from a staff member, in person, that they have been closed for months. Since last year. This individual even made a point to explain he had been rejecting people who had bookings as if it was some bragging point to leave people stranded. When asked about other hotels and accommodations in the area my wife and I were told to find “a hotel down the road” and “most had no rooms left.” 0 context given as to why they were closed, why they had people in their balconies and rooms, where we could go as foreigners new to the country. Additionally I’ve seen management responses stating they reached out to people to inform them of the closures but this is simply not true, at least not for everyone. We were never contacted nor were people who were also sent away that we spoke to. Also considering this hotel has been closed for months, who are all these recent 5 star reviews from? Maybe if we were provided any additional context from staff we would know. They also claim it’s listed on the website about the closures but if it is it’s no where obvious. Also when googling the hotel ads still appear to book for them. Whether this is on their end I’m not sure but worth mentioning. I don’t think it’s fair for management responses to put their issues on third parties. They should be doing more. Absolutely loved our trip to Dublin but hope this review reaches anyone who may have booked here or anyone planning to book.

Thee most welcoming hotel I have ever stayed in. My wife and children had a wonderful sleep at the hotel and the breakfast was delicious with something for everyone. The staff were so so pleasant to deal with and we will be staying again as soon as possible. Thanks to everyone for a wonderful time.

This hotel is definitely a four-star. Great service from the front staff and night Porter. The bathrooms were lovely. The rooms could use an extra bit of size but decorated beautifully. The breakfast is fantastic. Great shopping right across the street. On vacation visiting family.

Summary: Exceptional staff and excellent breakfast. One of the most welcoming hotels I’ve stayed at – the staff are extremely friendly, professional and helpful, which makes for a really enjoyable stay. Even though some aspects of the rooms need a little updating, the exceptional staff and excellent breakfast mean this hotel is a great place to stay. The hotel is located on the outskirts of Dublin, so it’s not ideal if you do not have a car as you’ll be reliant upon public transport. If you do have a car, parking is free and it’s easy to get about. The hotel is right beside Blanchardstown Centre, an area full of restaurants and shops, so you’ve plenty of choice of places to eat, drink and shop.

The beds, rooms, and bathrooms are nice and comfortable. The breakfast is fantastic, and they have a gym with a sauna. But more importantly the staff has a great attitude when you check in you see positive messages on the walls done in a tasteful way. Daniella and Nuala were incredibly kind and accommodating for a later checkout so I could go to church. Appreciate ya and highly recommend it. Check out the park just down the way, stunning.

I was staying the night during the Dublin Bus Christmas party, Saturday 26th November. The night stay was a little impromptu and short notice but I must admit it was definitely the right decision. The bedroom was extremely clean and exceeded my expectations. The food during the event was fantastic. The soup, the ham and turkey main course was superb, sadly I could eat any of the desert. But what stood out the most to me was the service, especially an employee named Shauna. Either the manager or Supervisor, I'm uncertain. Exceptional service, constantly making sure there we weren't waiting for anything, checking up on everybody frequently. Such a delightful person. Overall fantastic experience and will most definitely be coming back during December.

First of all, I reserved a premium suite at 200/night and upon arrival, I was told the price had increased by £40 because two people were staying, even tho the room was already and originally booked for 2. Next, the taps in the “premium” suite bathroom took ages for water to come out and when it did, it came out in bursts, before a constant flow. Same with the shower. Shower water also regularly changed from hot to cold during showering and pressure went from full to 0, on and off. The premium suite wasn’t very premium, much like a regular hotel room. However, the beds were comfy and the bar is nice. Overall not a great experience

Short stay for business trip. Staff very helpful and friendly. Rooms recently refurbished and very nicely finished. Bar food was good and reasonable choice available. Easy to get a taxi and next to a large shopping centre. I would stay again

The place needs a little love. In other words it is getting a tad worn. The place needs a make over. The ownership should drop a little money into the place. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff is awesome. Pam at the bar, Josie, Janet behind the front desk and the rest of the staff are the primary reasons I stay here. The secondary reason is the location. The food was excellent. Now if they could fix the damaged hallway floors and restretch the carpet so you dont trip... Great job by the staff!

I had a lovely few days at the Crowne Plaza. The food was generally very good, especially the breakfast. All the staff were helpful and polite, particularly the restaurant staff in the evenings. They seem to work very well as a team. I want to give a special mention to Lucy for her exceptional politeness, attentiveness, and professionalism during dinner service. I do hope that Bubbles and Squeak, the resident birds, receive the same stellar treatment, although I was assured that they do.

Crown Plaza Hotel 🏨 is newly refurbished and given a face lift by the owner. The reception area has been upgraded with a new set of couches 🛋 and sofas 🛋. The toilets 🚻 also received the face lift and upgrade. The entire hotel is now cleaner, sparkling new and well presented. The lounges are a warm, cosy abode in this weather. It is a must visit. 👌

A very low standard of food. Ordered a croque monsieur and we were handed a ham and cheese toastie. When mentioned to staff behind the bar,she didn't even acknowledge it. No sorry,no offer of new food, nothing. "Loaded fries" were bacon bits with microwaved cheddar cheese on top. Very dry. I would never recommend wasting your money on food in this hotel even McDonalds holds a higher standard of food. Such a bad experience. If the food is this bad I can only imagine the standard of cleanliness in the rooms!

We did a 1 night stay here as guests as a family of 5, absolutely spotless hotel , decor is new and beautiful. Comfortable beds and the breakfast buffet was plentiful. Special mention to Alessia , who was so professional and warm from start to finish, nothing was too much for her. All the staff were lovely actually. A stones throw away if you want to shop in Blanchardstown and have a drink or two with your meal , no need to drive . Will be back , this is our second time visiting the hotel

We had our Christmas party last night in the Crowne Plaza Blanchardstown and it was a night we’ll never forget. The staff were so friendly and the food was amazing. We were in the function room and the attention to detail was was amazing. The dj had everyone on the floor from start to finish, with lots of prizes to be won. Definitely would recommend.

We booked to stay here to attend a medical appointment which was cancelled at very short notice. The front desk were very sympathetic and processed a cancellation immediately. Exemplary customer service.

Crowne Plaza Dublin is an excellent property with easy access to amenities around the Dublin area. Room are spotless and extremely comfortable, the room had a shower and a bath which is the perfect combination. Check in was efficient and Reception Staff are welcoming and attentive. We ate in the bar which was comfortable and with top class service, also special mention to Peter our very tall waiter who was friendly and very professional. Breakfast is top class with a selection of everything you could ask for. Great stay thanks.

We stayed in several hotels in Ireland July 2023, this was the best. The breakfast was outstanding. There were several choices of everything, so fresh and well cooked, and started at 6.30 which was perfect when you have a plan to catch. The bathroom was very large, it had both a bath tub and a separate shower. Generous supply of towels, and a fridge we could use in the room. The staff was very professional, from check in to waiters, everything went very smooth. Carpark was free in the garage, with an elevator straight up to the room. The area is full of shopping centers, and the hotel is just off the highway, 17 mins from the airport. Loved it!

Was there for an outing. Place itself was very nice, good quality hotel. Food was lovely too, only issue was the service, While the ladies and Gentlemen serving were very polite, helpful and added to the experience, a lot of the party were left without either without courses or had to wait a long time. The the main man of the event didn't get a main or dessert.

A great stay! Only place worth booking in this area of Dublin. Staff were friendly and welcoming, breakfast had an excellent spread and full of variety and service was spot on. The rooms were spacious, clean and really good value for money. Nice touches added to it to make you feel more at home and pampered. Fully recommend if you’re staying this side of Dublin.

As usual our stay at Crowne Plaza Blanchardstown was perfect. Each & every member of staff is a credit to hotel especially Bridget at breakfast & Christine at reception. Rooms perfect, very clean & beds comfy. Food in restaurant was great.

Great location to/from Dublin airport, with super easy access to bus straight to Dublin City Centre. Rooms were clean and updated. Breakfast was delicious. Would recommend and would stay here again.

All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Robbie in the bar was very attentive. The rooms were extremely clean & comfortable. Thank you Erika. Was on a shopping trip, with friends great location for Blanchardstown. The only concern was at breakfast time it was a help yourself buffet and there were too many people in the one area. Also 2 men that had no masks on. People were stood over the food. This isn’t a safe practice in my opinion.
